Thank you so much for this video! So just to clarify, if I am selling English lessons online to students in Japan and they purchase a lesson with a credit card, is there ANOTHER credit card fee on top of the 2.7% fee Paypal is charging? or is the "merchant fee" the 2.7%? Thank you for your help!

So basically i bought things with an empty wallet but with a debit card backup. and i was in the minus on paypal so i topped up and im getting like every 2 days money from paypal and idk where its from

That was very informative thank you. .there is a part on paypal that says send a message using emojis ar the beginning od the screen shows dollar sign. Of how much you want to send as a gift? Whats all that mean?

So, if I sell some artwork to someone, and they place £20 pounds into their paypal account, then send that £20 to my PayPal account, and I then take that £20 from my PayPal account and transfer it into my DEBIT account, will I lose any money due to merchant fees?

I have a question if anyone can help. Is it safe to trust them with ur Social security number? Why can't I use it without my SSN? For the Taxs?

Social Security number will prove that you are a US citizen and is a unique identifier. I would personally trust PayPal with it.

So disappointed with PayPal, resolution center doesn't function, customer support doesn't respond, I will step out of PayPal because buyer is not protected well because of a froud seller, buyers be aware, PayPal support doesn't do the job well anymore

I know how it works. They sell you a card from a bank that doesnt trust anyone. so getting it activated is next to impossible. Looks like im out $200...thanks, paypal.

@@MichelleSheree1 I talked to one of their representaives. She said theyd mail it back. All but $5 of course. But funny how they have no problem mailing My $195 to my PO box, but cant trust me because i dont have a residential address. Does that make any kind of sense? Its like years ago, I wanted to open a savings account at B of A. $400 was going to start it. They wanted 2 forms of ID. I said g'bye. Why would I lie about who I am if Im giving some people I dont even know my money? If anything, I should be asking them for ID.

Thanks,. PO box is my only deliverable address too. Its on my DL and CC and Debit. Yet places insist on a street address (that will never reach me and I have no ID or paperwork showing it) and I walk away. Sometimes I have to use the post office's address and my box # as the apt. Its not ideal, but legal and enforcable. Good to know, I was ready to try paypal but this is not disclosed before or starting the signup. I I started, but decided to watch walk throughs to find out what is entailed. The SS is a dealbreaker for me. Never had a bank ask for it. we are about a year away from "show my your papers" just to walk around or shop anyway. Ill wait till then.

paypal is not secure ! someone tried to buy 2,000 dollars worth of tickets by using my credit card going through paypal account. but i caught it in time and put a stop to it. Now i have a new paypal cash account and dont have any credit card or bank account linked to it. now i only use it to get my pateron money every few months, and as soon as that money is deposited in paypal then i spend it. I SAY AGAIN PAYPAL IS NOT SECURE !!!!!!
