the part about the Ascension always gets a chuckle out of me. they were so awestruck that they were still gaping at the sky when the angels had to tell them, "Go home, nothing to see here, nothing to see here!" LOL
I'm Catholic, so I'm not challenging what Dr. Bergsma said about the casting of lots being somehow connected to the OT priesthood, Urim and Thummin, but it seems that casting lots was also a practice among Roman soldiers, (John 19:23) e.g. the ones who cast lots for Jesus' garments and His seamless tunic. Anybody care to comment?
