Ben, big fan of your content. Thank you. In the vid you mention being relaxed and specifically 'releasing the pelvis into rotation." Nolan Ryan, famous for his grunts, is obviously exerting himself. The delivery is seemingly faster after front foot plant. So my question is, if not at pelvis rotation, where and when are higher amounts of force getting applied by the pitcher?
GREAT question. Right at foot plant is when most guys bring in that active effort from the trunk (and very soon after, the arm). If you haven't seen it, we have a video on the cue "Mozart...mozart...mozart...METALLICA" to help guys see and feel this properly timed intent. Max Scherzer is another great example of letting the throw build up until foot plant, then exploding from the torso up.

Top 5 Deliveries for Me are: Zack Wheeler, Gerrit Cole, Jacob deGrom, Walker Buehler and Spencer Strider. Soooooo yeah, those beautiful deliveries don't necesarily guarantee Health.......but they all have one thing in common........INCREDIBLE STUFF.
He's pitching as I write this. He's my favorite player on the Dodgers. A fierce competitor who lets nothing distract him. And yes, great mechanics. He modeled himself after Justin Verlander (who has an under-head delivery, which I saw Buehler experiment with once in the majors).
best drill to overcome the tipping of the pelvis. I can't stay into the back leg and I have pretty similar mechanics to Buehler (old school over the head with leg extention) other than I have a rocker step instead of the side step like he does. Thanks!
if you have TJ it's a mechanical issue. He's still flat at front foot. Which puts alot of torque on the arm. Look for him to have more injuries down the road
