I love that you told this story, Nick. Many years ago I was listening to Roger Callahan give a speech and he told Mary's story. He'd tried everything, as he said. He started having her come to his house and look at his pool from inside. The day that she said she felt the discomfort in her stomach and he had her tap on that meridian, she ran out the door and he's screaming "MARY YOU CAN'T SWIM!" He told of how the government did their best to ruin his career, and they sent an investigator over who, fortunately was not a psychologist. She told him she had a phobia of driving. They did the tapping and VOILA! So next, they challenged him for calling it the Callahan Technique so he named it Thought Field Therapy. Thank you for telling the amazing origin of tapping.

I’m in the same situation! It’s so difficult isn’t it. I’m so afraid of Covid and people I haven’t been able to leave my house for over 5 years. I’ve just started using tapping and it does relieve the anxiety! I have one of Nicks short anxiety tapping sequences saved on my I watch so I can use it as soon as the fearful thoughts start. This and visualising walking to my garden gate has been helping but I still can’t get myself to walk through the gate. Will definitely keep trying though. I wish you the best of luck too.
