Archer casually answering Rin's summoning and participating in HGW just to commit the second most complicated suicide in anime history is so funny to me.
@@digooo.2030 Well, honestly the most complicated suicide in anime is debatable. I am surprised none of the anime youtubers covered this. I leave this topic to someone more qualified because I am biased towards certain characters.
EMIYA: *Has Somewhat Medicore stats and is outclassed in some way by pretty much every other servant in the 5th FHGW* Also EMIYA: Watch me cast a reality marble twice on my own with no mana support, tank all this shit capable of bringing down entire armies down, and still have mana to spare for a dramatic save at the last minute.
Shirou is like Dante of Devil May Cry and Mark Grayson of Invincible, as all them are constantly beaten up, mauled, impaled, and gruesomely injured, yet, all them showed be capable to recover themselves and still fighting, showing an unbreakable spirit.
People seem to only Remember EMIYA's ERO PROTAGONIST EX skill yes that skill is overpowered BUT Never forget that he also has HERO OF JUSTICE A++ it boosts all the users stats by a HUGE margin if the user is in a bad situation and allows them do a fate denying feat
He’s way too cocky to use it in most situations, he never thinks he needs it. Especially in a scenario like the end of UBW where he had no reason to think that there was anyone left who would be a threat, at most he may have been watching the grail or saber but both of those things were taken care of (he was in UBW and focusing on the fight with Shiro when Archer saved Rin so he wouldn’t know he was still around, just that the only other threats were taken care of) which left him with no reason to even consider another outside threat.
@@sethmann5964 True, how can we blame him for this if we ourselves did the same) But if you really think about it, then his plot armor is much inferior to others
Hey man, could you perhaps make videos explaining the events of each lostbelts for those of us who don't play the games, the lore looks quite interesting
The guy who never sleeps and only releases Content for us. Just thank you. Your videos are very cool. But I again have some questions: 1) Why was it Archer Gil who was summoned, and not, say, his Caster version? Will different versions of it require different catalysts? AND And is it possible to summon different versions of it in one war? If so, would they definitely not get along? 2) In the anime UBV, there was a shadow/something of Airi that was shown talking to Illya, what was it? She spoke very badly about Kiritsugu, that he betrayed them and abandoned them, but why? Airi herself agreed to this. 3) There were dead apostles in Kiritsugu's past, but they just looked like dead people. Does this mean that they also exist in the world of Stay Night? I would be very grateful for an explanation
Different points in Gil's life. Magus Gil has matured and come to terms with things. He isn't the insufferable and arrogant jack ass he was before. So he has no reason to agree to a summoning. Archer Gil represents that point where Gil was still full of himself and looking to cheat death. So of course he would jump on the chance to answer the call of the grail.
@@jacobfreeman5444 Hmm, that's how it is. That is, Caster Gil will be almost impossible to summon, because he himself will not answer the call of the Grail. Thanks for the explanation
That thing pretending to be Irisviel was Angra Mainyu (Angra Mainyu absorbed her memories and personality when she became the grail). It was angry that Kiritsugu rejected the grail and wanted to corrupt Illya and get her to kill Shirou as more revenge against Kiritsugu.
@@rushan4ikk It (the false Irisviel) looked like it was made of grail mud and that it had infected the whole house so maybe Angra sent mud to the Eizbern castle during the fire as a way to maintain a physical presence and keep it safe. But once Angra was done talking to Illya, all of the mud disappear so maybe it was a psychic link between the greater grail and Illya the vessel for the lesser grail.
I mean, probably, don't forget he's an Archer, and his true specialty lies in ranged combat, and with how idiotic half the masters in this war were? He probably could have just sniped them all to death.
@@aaravgaur7 well I think illya and kirei would survive those attempts because of their servant's instincts and have the speed or durability to tank it. also shirou I guess if saber isn't left at home.
@@wakamoon1910I mean, Kirei would only survive if his servants bothered to help him which they... wouldn't. Shirou would also completely fail since he would A.) Need Rho Aias to survive long enough to cut Archer down, and B.) Need Rin to not be there, since she would also be capable of changing the outcome. Illya is the only one I'd argue could, but honestly if he just snipes her right at the start when Berserker was busy with Saber, she would be screwed.
@@jcs3146For real I mean just look at Gilgamesh. This is no slander against him as a character but him as an antagonist. Over the years gill has gradually become so powerful that there has to be so many convoluted reasons why he actually loses a fight. Compare gill from stay night to other versions like strange fake and extra it makes gill look stupid for even losing the fight against Shirou.
@@leslierahming1483In my opinion, it's half plot armor, half arrogance blinding him, there are many factors that i consider plot armor such as Gilgamesh not wearing his armor, Archer surviving and escaping without being detected, and the fact that Gilgamesh could have killed Shirou several times but didn't, but it is a fact that his arrogance was still crucial like him not taking the battle against Shirou more seriously until the last second, or not considering anyone as a threat(at most Archer that he thought he killed). There are also other factors such as Gilgamesh not having access to his clairvoyance due to the fact that for some reason the mud of the grail clouded his vision, there is also the fact that the shooting speed of UBW's weapons is greater than GoB's, if I remember correctly it is even said that Shirou attacked Gilgamesh with everything he had to not even give him the opportunity to recover his composure and take action to defend or counterattack.
I mean we dont really have reason to believe Kuzuki is in his prime considering he's middle aged. I think Kuzuki would take it because his battle tactics were made for killing rather than fighting. @@Kero___
@@MeltyVampirei mean, they are both using killing arts, just different in the style's focus/discipline. I honestly forgot what the Church was teaching them, but its a killing art regardless
On the first battle Kuzuki wins, any other battle onwards Kirei wins because Kuzuki's fighting style relies on the opponent not knowing what his fighting style is.
I don't understand he got stab multiple time and remember emiya doesn't have guts like Cuchulain But somehow he survive for another day and head shot Gilgamesh in the head like a menace
Nothing confusing about it really Cu could've taken those fatal hits and kept fighting Emiya specifically stopped fighting & finished from the shadows later
I see it as a combination of how good his armor and mystic code is A healing sword maybe a phurba (a ritual dagger sometimes associated with healing) or Avalon Protag power
