Shirou would basically have to spam swords from every direction as soon as his reality is active to even stand a chance. After all, she can only "kill" so many projectiles coming her way, an omnidirectional sword barrage might be to much for them
so something that not mention in the video is that UBW is life-essence of memories for Emiya Archer and Shirou. Basically, If you erase their reality marble, you actually lose ability to perform projection. Killing Archer's reality marble kills him. For shirou, it does not kill him but he loses ability to use any magic. As for whether Shiki tohno and Ryougi can kill reality marble. The answer is that you can kill anything but what matter is how long it takes to kill something. Reality marbles are huge boundary fields created by the wielder. You can't just cut boundary field in 1 slash. It would take Tohno and Ryougi an entire hour to cut UBW. If Archer was fighting Ryougi in grail war, Archer would not fight her in a 1vs1. Archer is as much of an Assassin as Ryougi is. If he had to beat her, He would likely just sniper her. Probably with Hrunting like Fate/hollow. They're no match for a servant. When talking about 1vs1, It is a lot harder to judge because servants have statistic that are beyond human-level. Ryougi and Shiki are human characters with super-powers. Humans cannot fight a fair fight with a servant. The only reason why Shirou was able to fight servant in a 1vs1 is because he had Avalon, He had a steel body AND he was wield Noble phantasm weapons. Kuzuki(Medea's) master was able fight Saber because of Medea's Age of god magic. Tohno and Ryougi are humans with knife. They die in 1 hit to a servant. While their super-power are incredible offensive, Incredible offensive means little when your defence is dying in 1 hit. Archer does not need spam anything to kill these two humans. They don't really stand a chance against him. Shirou vs Tohno or Ryougi is closer match-up. Shirou is not a servant and his power are not useful vs Mystic eyes of death. He would likely lose to Tohno and Ryougi. Shirou is super-human like Tohno and Ryougi are but his powers are not developed yet to Archer's level to really beat Tohno or Ryougi. Their eyes just counter projection. He can still win on technical level because... in theory he can land 1 hit and kill them if he has Archer's arm from Heaven's feel or the experience post-ubw route in the story but on paper. his powers are countered by mystic eyes of death.
I love the mystic eyes of death perception its just such a cool ability that I feel there isn't a lot of other stories that can make insta kill such an interesting power
I think people underestimate Shiki is because in FGO even though she's a 5* SSR she's lacking in comparison to others in her tier and lower as a consequence of being released when the game was still relatively new. If people actually knew more of the lore they'd understand that she is broken. Really right up their with Old Man Hassan if not more. Void Shiki really does need a buff in game.
It doesn't help that she's just lethargically using a small fraction of her actual power with little to no motivation. Because if she got even slightly motivated she'd body anything and anyone that isn't at least Velber level
As question: In Heaven's Feels route, hypothetically, if Shirou still had Saber as his Servant to the point in that he lost his arm and Archer transplanted his arm on Shirou, i wonder if Avalon to full power for Saber, would helped more Shirou to deals with the power of Archer's arm, whether for control it and/or to reduces the risks of die for it?
I think it would just kill him faster, as when he had archers arm and avalon was healing him against Kirei, it was literally replacing his body with swords. Heck, in the VN he couldn’t get punched in the face sense he would get stabbed in the brain by his sword healing factor. Archers arm was like an immune disease. It was corrupting his immune system, that being Avalon. So if Avalon was stronger during the route, then I think he’d just die faster. As far as him regenerating his arm after losing it and not even getting archers arm, that might be possible. Edit: sorry for the short essay
@@watchinghat3153Shirou didn’t have Avalon’s power at that point. That was just his reality marble imitating Avalon’s effects the best it could. Though, I could be misremembering.
Well damn, my boi Shirou can't seem to hold a W against any of the other protagonists. He lost to Bazette in the first round of the Protagonist Battle, where due to Fragarath he stood no chance, and now he pretty much Auto loses to Shiki as well. This also neglects Kiritsugu might be able to speed blitz him with Time Alter, Illya overpowering him because Magical Girls are innately powerful in concept and Ritsuka could overwelm him with Shadow Servants and may very well know what he's capable of because he met Heroic Spirit Emiya. Seig may pull another Deux ex Machina on him to somehow win and most other Protagonists are either extremely skilled or got bullshit abilites. It be hard for Shirou fans entering a versus debate I tell ya. Like he got one of the coolest skillsets in the verse (In My Opinion) and is definately my favourite character in Fate but man, seems we gotta sleep on my boi 'cause he really don't stand much of a chance against these guys.
If like nasu just wants to shit on Shirou for the fun of it. It kinda makes you think what made Shirou so special in the first place because usually anime MCs are popular because they have OP powers, can beat anyone they want and are considered the “real heroes”.
I think Nasu said that a fight between Shiki Tohno and Shirou would be a draw. Shirou keeps projecting weapons and Shiki keeps killing them until they both kill themselves.
How would the Shikis work in a fight against Berserker? Like, would one stab immedietly take away all of God Hands lives or would it still take 12 kills? Would he begin to gain a resistance if it does? I assume it would bypass the A rank NP check. Or if they were to fight Gilgamesh, when killing any of his fired GOB Noble phantasms, would they not return to the GOB thus rendering him unable to use them for atleast the rest of the war? To take it further when talking about the Shikis vs servants, is it possible for them to permanently kill a servant from the throne of heroes?
Watched your mystic eyes video a bit late. I think one aspect that might have been looked over is Shirou's inherent ability to analyze weapons and some other structures at a glance. In Fate, UBW, and HF, shirou was able to replicate the weapons structure, crafting method, the amount of experience it acquired over its life, the crafting materials involved, and some more thing. Even Rin respected his certainty and analysis on almost each route, heck Shirou was even pivotal in helping disassemble riders np at the school and recognizing the inmate risk of rule breaker every time he saw it. Feats which even Rin couldn't accomplish normally. It can be safe to say that this level of analysis is unique to shirou, possibly related to his origin or more likely powered by UBW. If you wanted to split hairs, that ability might be tied to his eyes, very similar to mystic eyes of a very specialized nature. I mean it's a strong stretch in logic, but I think it's a good rabbit hole to think on. It's possible that analysis of structures is an inherent part of reinforcement magecraft too. I enjoy your videos, would enjoy seeing you take a look at a doujin game called Battle Moon Wars. It's essentially a mashup tactics game styled after super robot wars. Pretty much all of the extended tsukihime and fate cast get pulled from their universes to battle it out in a very loving and detailed fan work.
I had good laugh that people clearly underestimate Shiki Tohno and Shiki Ryougi these two are literal deathbringers and they can solo'd the entire Nasuverse if given an opportunity. If anyone can recall also, when Shiki Ryougi in MELTY BLOOD Actress Again Current Code facing the True Ancestor form of Arcueid before facing one another. That Shiki Ryougi stated "However the outcome, the dream is over. As long it is even alive, I will show you even the gods fall under my knife." As long as they can see meaning and purpose in things all persons, objects, and inanimate objects they simply kill the meaning with the slash of the knife. As much I like the characters of Shirou Emiya and Archer Emiya there simply no way that they can beat the Mystic of eyes death perception it would be literal suicide even with all the tools and prep time their weapons would be render useless. Shiki Tohno would not want kill for fun he would rather live a peaceful life if possible , if it force his hand then will end it if necessary. As Shiki Ryougi would actually do it for the fun of it and take no crap from no one.
It's all because of that interview where Nasu stated human Shiki Ryogi would only be able to go toe toe toe with a servant...he never specified in what way but people assumed that included her ability to cut things when he didn't say that. It was probably in terms of raw combat which normal shiki isnt specialized in anyway. And Void...well anyone who watched the final KNK segment saw how casually she can just reset reality if she felt like it so that's no contest.

You know i have a crack theory about the shikies. So like a noble phantasm is created from legends about a person. So like maybe in 1000 years the legend of shiki tht is able to cut through anything with their knife, wouldn't Shirou be able to trace that and have a knife that are able to cut anything

Can the Mystic Eyes of Death perception cut something like a noble phantasm? Like take Gae Bolg, both the spear itself and the causality attack thing. Would it be able to break the spear? And it would probably be able to ‘Kill’ the causality altering attack right?
Yes. The only real limitation of the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception are the user. As long as the user is able to comprehend the "end" of their target they can cut and kill it.
@@mindmaster323 would that mean that if a death perception user could comprehend someone without a concept of death like ORT (before azrael) dying, they could kill it
Not related to the video but I just had a question about servants parameters. I read somewhere that each rank is equivelant to 10 humans. Like E=10, D=20. I remember reading it was like 10 strongest human but others said it was 10 average human. The thing is would the time a servant is summoned effect how strong their vessel is? Like if it was going by average human and the humans in the age of the gods were stronger than the ones in the age of man would the servants in the age of God's have be stronger than those summoned in the age of man despite their parameters being the same due to the difference of how strong the humans there are? This question came to mind when I was rewatching some of your old videos and you pointed out that while Quezelcoatl had lower strength parameter she showed greater physical strength feat than Sigurd and Asterious.
But now, would an Origin Bullet from Emiya Alter make their mystic eyes of death perception unusable? Because it would forcibly change their Origin to sword.
To be honest i think the best way for Shirou to win against someone with those eyes would be by using a Broken Phantasm, both Shikis are fast but they still have a limit so if Shirou used Hrunting for example he could be able to one shot them even if they saw it coming due to how fast it is. Using UBW would be like beging them to kill him, they can just cut UBW's death lines and kill Shirou's inner world which would probably kill Shirou too or at the very least make him unable to keep using projections for the rest of his life.
There was that popular fan doujin that had Tohno destroy the reality marble from back in the day. Regardless, everything has death so it's possible especially through Tohno's dot stabs. You got Chaos and RM references in MB anyway.
Yes 😂 if there is a concept it can be destroyed in the fgo with mystic eyes of death perception there are exceptions but its argubly the most absurd ability in fate it basically breaks all the laws in the series by simply cutting lines most people cant regenerate plus if you find the weak point it can be destroyed
Interesting topic because a reality marble is a persons soul. So a person with mystic eyes of death perception in a persons soul really makes it interesting.
One thing I still wonder (and before the video started I thought it was an easy win for the Mystic Eyes) is could either of the Shikis use their Mystic Eyes of Death Perception to apply death to the mental concept that brings forth reality marbles in the first place? We know reality marbles are a mental projection of the caster onto the world and we have both Shikis applying death to "nature" and appendicitis so would it be THAT much of a stretch for them to apply death to a very hardened mental state of a person? I just imagine a funny what if story where one of the Shikis apply death to the mental state of Shirou that allows him to cast UBW in the first place and after they do their thing Shirou goes from being Shirou to being this normal, non-survivor's guilt dude I guess somewhat close to the Prisma Illya (not Miyuverse) version of him lol
Shirou’s best bet would be using trying to project Gae Bolg and then use it as an arrow from afar otherwise it lights out for my boy. I like to glaze shirou as much as the guy but it’s looking pretty bad.
How would Shiki's Mystic eyes interact with a power being from a seperate created existence entirely that operates under fundamentally seperate rules which he ascends? How would such a conceptual death ability restrained in her verse react to somebody like say Wang Ling from Daily Life of the Immortal King? Probably not as nearly effective as it would usually intend to be. After it's still bound in a world with it's own set of rules and it is dealing with a entirely outsider being who is quite powerful himself.
Only reality marble i can even imagine messing with shikis eyes is Maybe Ars Paulina and thats only cause Death doesnt really stick to well inside of its influence but i have a feeling even if it causes trouble shiki particulary servant shiki could probably Bypass it if needed

Tsiah, have you read the fanmade crossover Type Moon Complex X? Because in that series the Tsukihime cast dogwalks the Fate cast for half the story, including a scene where Shiki Tohno scares the shit out of Shirou and all his friends after destroying UBW. It caused a lot of controversy and arguments in the fandom, from Shiki making mincemeat of Berserker with no difficulty to Ciel destroying Rider. I think it would be interesting if you made a review of it.
I was going to mention that myself and considering what we know now the ONLY reason Shiki would have been able to take all of Heracle's lives is because his eyes bypass defences/reincartion/regeneration etc.. AND Arc WAS holding Hera in place now we only saw her blocking his sword but in canon she probably could have done something more to stop him from attacking Shiki while he was getting all his lives taken. As for Ciel beating Rider the ONLY way i could actually see it happening even WITH the Seventh Scripture is somehow the world also gave her some sort of massive power as part of it's whole correcting thing because Roa was once again alive other than that Medusa should have EASILY killed her especially considering just how powerful she is when Sakura is her master and that would be WITHOUT using Bellephron.
@MDKGunner That’s the thing. Arc wasn't even holding Herc in place. Shiki stepped in between Herc and Arc, and before Herc could finish his swing Shiki blitzed him and sliced him to pieces, and he lost all of his lives instantly. I don't even know if he stabbed a death point. And that was all before destroying Shirou's weapons and his reality marble. He had Shirou, Rin, Saber and Illya thinking they couldn't fight him or Arc, and Arc barely did anything.
The eyes of Death Perception are lethal, but are also a doubled edged sword. Shiki Tohno would drop dead if Emiya forced him keep them active for long periods. Ryougi is a different story.
So I seems the Grand Temple of Time stands no chance then huh... Probably why such Servants weren't there except for First Hassan. Can Mystic Eyes of Death Perception *"kill"* ORT, Type Moon, the Beasts of Humanity or a Marble Phantasm?
Does Shiki Tohno have enough physical capability to dodge a bullet or np from Emiya alter? If he gets hit by it, would Shiki be able to do something about it?
Let me say this because if you know about tsukihime story then you should know that vampire are fast like hell heck you can say bullet speed are like joke to them and Shiki petty much so damn fast even tho his body not normal like human because of fatal disease he still move so fast to point it like teleporting .
@@picalonga0239 if we use the mcu thanos they for sure do since thanos was able to destroy them using the stones own power so thats a point of death that can be cut
Pretty sure Void Shiki even the planet and ultimate ones have an end the capability of dying if not they would not let us beat ORT despite all the sacrifices to do so.
Reality Marbles are cool and all, but they're still just Magecraft. The list the things Death Perception doesn't work on ain't long and none of them are in Fate/Stay Night.
