These are ways families remembered children who died. In 2016, after first-grader Jacob Hall was shot on a South Carolina playground, he was laid to rest with a superhero-themed funeral. In 2015, after 8-year-old Lake Bozman died of leukemia, he appeared in his parent's wedding photo through the magic of digital photography. In 2022, after Ellie Garcia lost her life in the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting, Disney honored her memory. Inside Edition Digital's Andrea Swindall has more.

It’s so sad to see kids died because my city had to deal with it two years ago after a 6 year old boy died and to make matters worse, it was almost his kindergarten graduation ceremony the week before that happened

The thing that really hurts me is parents worst nightmare that they lose their child like this. It’s the worst experience for the parents. I cannot imagine being a parent and I lost my kid. The Simmons 3 I pray for that family daily I pray for everyone who has had to bury a child. My aunt Connie had two children Ashley, who passed away at 11 months old and 1985 and Justin Who passed away at age 29 in 2011 She's the strongest woman I know
