Did you get byrek? That looks like it's byrek. My favorite thing about growing up in Albania was the deliciousness and availability of these. I miss it so much!

Great video. Y'all are a delight :) Back when I was 20-something, my boyfriend was Albanian. His mom was a cook for the communist government there. We went to antique stores here and he would show me equipment that they still used. That was about 1995 and they were only an open country for about 4 years at that point.

Try living in tirana with average albanian wages The groceries here is one of the most expensive in Europe, no competition The gas also is crazy expensive, also try to eat burgers or fast food in general not to even mention restaurants it might be more expensive than usa If you gonna live just drinking coffee then yeah cool

@@mikeandlaney there is a lot of propaganda going on but as albanian is the worst place to live: traffic jams, pollution, rude people, bad public transport. Don't stay only around the city center, go to some other neighborhoods and you will see how people are suffering here. It is entirely a facade, the government is paying foreign influencers to do propaganda. The foreign tourists coming here don't have money to buy a beer.
