@@Learntheharmonica Would you say C is easiest to bend on. I own a G, and can only bend on 4, and blow bend up on 9 and 10. do you have any advice?

How much reed work did it take to get all those blow bends?

Probably not much. I just started blow bending for 1st position. You just play and move your tongue forward to bend

Why doesn’t that F want to go down!? I don’t get it. I mean, I find it easier to get the D# on my E harp to come down than in the lower keys. I imagine if I had an F# harmonica, a whole step higher than an E, it would be super easy to bend its hole 3 down a whole step or more. But you move that same F tuned reed over to hole 5, and now you can’t budge it… how can this be!? 🤔

If you are referring to the 5 draw note, it's down to the mechanics and physics of bending. It's only possible to bend to a note between the blow and draw reed notes. So you can bend 3 draw way down because there's a big interval between the two reeds. However, on hole 5 there's only a half step (semitone) between the blow note and draw note, so it's only possible to get the smallest of pitch fluctuations with a bend. Hope this helps!
