How fast can I beat Pokémon Yellow with a Beedrill?

Super annoying, yes. Originally, not even Metapod could learn Harden via level-up, but they caught this mistake in Yellow and gave Metapod Harden at level 7, but not Kakuna, as you can't obtain one in this game, so they probably never considered it.

@@SnowyTotodile True, they probably never even looked at Kakuna for yellow. I wonder how much better the early game would be with access to defense set up against Brock and badge boosting before swords dance.

@@banditrests For Brock, considerably better - you would probably only need level 15. As for badge boosts, I can see it helping against the self-destructing Hiker, both for the intended defense boost (since Beedrill can only tank two self-destructs) and for badge boosts (since Beedrill otherwise just barely can't OHKO without a critical hit).

Aaa barely! I had a much easier time on Crystal when Beedrill was level 76!

AAA I know! Twineedle isn't too bad, but X Scissor would be quite potent, especially since Beedrill would be critting with it

I named it Zippy because that was the name I used for Beedrill in my Crystal playthrough!

It was pretty good when they added mega evolution to it, which was super amazing, but that was the only time it was good unfortunately...

Oh gosh, tell me about it! Brock's Geodude is the one reason why I had to grind to level 18. It's doable at a lower level but you need quite a bit of luck...

If you already have max EVs (i.e. 252 in one stat or 510 total across all stats in Gen 3+, or 63504 stat exp or higher in Gen 1-2), then yes. Otherwise, no.

Oh, the multiplayer in this game technically works more like how Xbox System Link works, or MCC's online co-op.
