Lol I was terrified my parents would walk in during the sims 2 woo hoo cut scene. They never did, but that caused me nearly as much fear as the burglar music in that game.

Once I was showing my mom a new room I’d built, but I forgot that my game was on live mode, and I’d either told my sims to woohoo, or they did it autonomously (don’t remember if they even did that on their own) but anyway, I was in the middle of showing my mom the build and it cut to the woohoo scene 😭😭😭😭 I just moved my laptop screen away, and my mom and I looked at eachother and she said “jeez, should I even be letting you play this game?” Thankfully she never stopped letting me play sims though ahah

OMG, my mom walked in on me in CAS, of course, on swimwear. So that was an awkward moment. 🤭

Same - it's hardly the kind of thoughts one should entertain in the fasting month 😅

I actually can’t tell if that was suppsed to be sarcastic or not. If it wasn’t, then don’t mind me if I spoil it for you: 24 days for Sims 2 and 15 days for Sims 4. Semester lengths are set, you can’t change them in vanilla game unless you actually suck at planning in Sims 4 and straight up fail the semester in Sims 2 and both of those options would only prolong this experience, not shorten it. Mods are the way to go, especially in sims 2, those guys are hanging out at college for 24 years xD

I didn't like cats as a child, but the only one I knew was my friend's cat who was part feral and hated everyone, and would even hiss at and claw my friend and her mum. The only human she liked was my friend's dad. I think I was in my late teens before I interacted with another cat - and he was such a sweetheart. I've now lived with cats (miss those cuties since I moved) and would have my own in a heartbeat if I was in the right circumstances to do so. I think because most cats are cautious with unfamiliar humans, compared to dogs who are often excited and friendly with new people, that they get a bad rep. I have known friendly cats who are affectionate to strangers, but many require a little patience as they suss you out.

I always say cats are more like humans. Not everyone is touchy feely lovey dovey the moment you meet them. Cats can be anxious or shy or cold just like humans. But a bond with those people is always the strongest, bc you earnt their trust :) especially if youre neurodivergent like me, i can be shy af but those who are close to me are like blood.

@@Laurastar2009 yess! Absolutely! Anyone that says they hate cats I tell them that they clearly haven't met the right one for them then. A cats affection is a whole different level of love! Dogs are eager to please, cats however, need you to work a little for it. And honestly I'd rather have the affection because I put in my work to show them all the love❤️

Sims 3 base game buy mode was awful though. Doesn't matter what colours you make it, the wrought iron beds and lumpy couches are UGLY.

Sims 3 is ugly af but the gameplay is the best imo

Sims 4 has the best CAS, build mode, and runs the best- but the gameplay is nowhere to be found Sims 2 and 3 both have amazing gameplay, and creating a world is great

I think sims 2 and 3 have the best game play and don’t need game play mods but definitely needs cc sims 1 is the most risqué but does need cc for sure not sure on mods and sims 4 is the most stable and looks the best without cc or minimal cc but needs a ton of game play mods

Sims 4 is also the most user friendly, it's very easy to understand and get into

Sims 4 has great music imo, but I've come to associate it with mediocrity.

i rlly like the music stings for when emotions change tbf, but the rest of the music is just kinda bland to me

The other music is glorious in previous iterations. But ngl i love alot of TS4 music. Especially some that came with snowy escape, and maybe one with cottage living. That shits my jam like i will literally just sit and jam to it even if i am finished with cas or BB mode. They have great composers working for them imo :) always have though.

There are some good Sims 4 tracks but a lot of them sound like royalty free music 🤢

@@pigeon3264 what? Really? I dont think so. Now granted theres alot of good royalty free music out there. But not once have i thought it sounded that way. Interesting. I feel like ts4 has a very distinct sound to it. Though ill admit base game and vampires music gets old.

I shared a game with my older sister and she got a painting cc that maxed all needs, so as soon as I got sick of the sims needs, I got that painting every time

Also, sims 4 with wicked, it only takes seconds. Santa has a lot of things to offer my sims and it feels so wrong. They still do it, it’s hilarious!
