It's pretty cool that we didn't have to even pull the instrument panel out to install it. That's the only uncracked panel we have, and I'd rather keep it that way! 😂
I have a 1967 c 10 short box that I made road worthy, I have a rebuilt ls 6.0 I built and a rebuilt 4l60E. Iam loving it ,it's rusty n crusty but it turns heads. Iam in need of this speed box adapter. My harness came from lt1 wiring so it ready to wire in the box ,iam kinda on the cheep side so iam looking for the same deal but half the money for the 335 dollar box.thanks for sharing. I just learned of this device two days ago on RU-vid. God bless yall real good.

These are the best LS swap videos I've found on RU-vid (and I've watched a lot). They are so informative as well as entertaining. Love the shots of Ripply. Your videos give me confidence to do my own LS swap in my '82 K10. So far all of the swaps I've seen you do are on 2wd trucks. Are there plans in the future to do one with 4wd?

Haha! Love it! If I was smart, I'd fix the seam seal on the drip edge, but then I'd have to paint it and lose my patina... Patina life is hard sometimes. 😂😂
We ordered this one from Speedway Motors, and it was around $330. I really want to keep my original panel, and the only gauges I don't have right now are oil pressure and battery. We need to add a check engine light, so I may wire in some dummy lights for those while we're at it. Those aftermarket gauges can get pricey!
No, we haven't had an opportunity to do that. There are a few companies out there that sell a mechanical to electrical signal and still sticks with the mechanical gauge if that is what you are using. Thanks Keeterbob. Jerry and Emily

I have a speedometer question. I swapped a 2002 5.3 ls L59 into a 1997 k2500 4x4 gmc and used the 4l80e transmission from the 1997. I rewired the trans plug and added the extra vss sensor. I pinned the dark green vss wire into pin50. The speedometer works, but in park and neutral the speedo gauge also revs like a tachometer ???? I can't figure out why. Love your videos. Thanks
I am assuming your truck has a tach also. If so, I would go to the instrument cluster and pull wire number 6 out of that connector. It is the tack to coil wire and should be white. I would see what speedo does with that disconnected. If you have tried that, let me know. If you pull that wire and speedo acts normally, let me know. Let me know either way. Jerry
