Gabi's assignment at that school was completed and the Lord moved him on to the next assignment. The Lord knows at all times, calls us when we need to be called, directs us where we need to be, intervenes when we need to be redirected. A traffic jam was to keep you from being where He did not want you to be at a certain time.... every morning give thanks for a new day and surrender it to the Lord.

Don't put the Lord's name on his behavior... We haven't even heard from the priest who fired him. We're all just taking his word for it as if it's fact when maybe he got fired for completely different reasons and he's not willing to tell the truth.

Soft clergy is a thing probably in Americas but not the same everywhere so it would be safe to not rope everyone(or even majority) with that label. But yeah Soft clergy is an issue but I don't think it will be much of an issue later on cuz God still and will run the Catholic Church till the end so as long as even one has faith in him the Church will persevere no matter what trails come.
@macdan22
@macdan22 26 дней назад
@@denniselroy4517 You are 100% right its not everywhere, I didn't make that claim. I make the claim of majority because a majority of priests/bishops/cardinals remain silent when a certain "supreme, unjudgeable and infallible" MAN brings abomination into the holy place with documents like FS. Where it the African bishops who had the courage to stand up as a whole and reject it. Where are all the brave European clergy? Oh right, they are too afraid to call out the nonsense happening in Germany because of schism fears. Where are the brave men of the Cloth to question the cancelling of the few Priests/Bishops/Cardinals who actually did question Bergoglio's actions/intentions? Oh right none of them demanded those cancelled be given trials they are owed by Canon Law. Where are all the brave shepherds daily/weekly calling for a purging of all the deviant behavior done to children and nuns? Oh right, they are now the bishops and cardinals who did all these terrible things in 60-2000s when they were priests. The ONLY reason why Rupnik is facing the light of day is because the secular world was outrage at the cover up that he was given. Do not forget the bible tells us the church will be taken over by evil and it will fall. Rome isn't the only Catholic church.

I'd say the Western World has had a number of "soft" clerics and Bishops. Fortunately, things are slowly improving. Why are we having a Eucharistic Congress this Summer? The Spirit, that gives and conveys life, guided the USCCB to unanimously call for it.

We don't know if this priest was softer.What he even said about this priest is true.... It could all be slander and nobody bothered to even interview. The priest who fired him to get the full perspective. All what we're doing is giving the this guy a platform and believing everything he says verbatim. There's no evidence that what he said is even what happened and we could be absolutely slandering a holy priest of God simply for click bait on RU-vid. The holy saints who were genuinely persecuted by the clergy, were silent and kept their mouth shut. Father rippinger says that we should not be letting these charismatic. People pray over our children and for all we know. The people within his congregation were not happy with him. Praying over their children and doing religious activities with them that they did not approve of as the parents of the children. For all we know the priest himself did not approve of what Gabby is doing? Not because the priest doesn't follow tradition, but precisely because the priest follows tradition. The priest is actually probably a holy man. Because as far as we can tell, he hasn't gone out and said why he fired Gabby and has been humble about it and kept it between those 2 people.

We offer it for an hour every day all year. And we have several priests hearing confessions before any school-wide mandatory Mass. During Lent we have at least 4 priests simultaneously on duty all day long on the final days before we break for Holy Week.

As a deaf educator, given this story involved a deaf child, I feel compelled to share the following: in my mind, the greatest miracle the Lord ever performed for the deaf was done through St. Francis De Sales and Abbé De L’Epee. That miracle was the development and discovery of sign language. I view my career as a holy war against the scourge that is Language Deprivation Syndrome. If a deaf child grows up without access to sign language, the develop this permanent disability that causes life long cognitive damage. By depriving a deaf child of sign language, you’re damning them to a life where they will only read at a third grade reading level and experience a litany of social, psychological, and emotional problems. Please my brothers and sisters, for the sake of our Blessed Lord, if you have a deaf child in your life teach them sign language and learn to sign with them. Next to baptism, it’s the single most important thing you could do.
@famvids9627

Apparently people believe that deafness is caused by a bone being out of place in the head. Because that's what this guy is saying... He can't even get Basic physiology, right. Setting that issue aside. His cure for this whole thing is to simply pray in tongues over these people and we don't need sign language from his perspective.

The Catholic schools in the US are not Catholic. We had our oldest in a supposedly good one, and most of the teachers were Protestant. Protestant!! My 5 year old taught her class the Divine Mercy prayer. Decreasing vocations, means no nuns are teaching in these schools anymore. And they can't get enough Catholic teachers, who in absence of a vow of poverty, need reasonable salaries. So the lackluster Catholic formation is also expensive. They are trying to keep pace with ritzy charter schools and secular private schools... so this is what you get. Covid policies and being told my then, 6 year old could help teach non Catholic peers about the faith were the last straws. We've now been homeschooling for 3 years.

It’s so funny how things work. I use to attend the parish he is at as a kid, it was far for me but we went. I I’ve had my ups in and downs with my relationship with the lord. In November I traveled to Mexico to say goodbye to my grandfather, my grandfather had asked me to pray a rosary for him it was the last time we spoke before he passed. I was exhausted from travel and kids and other issues so i used youtube to help my pray that night. My grandfather had such a peaceful death, he had ended his light night with the Eucharist and a family rosary, the next morning as the church bells were ringing he took his last breath. Back in the US I hosted a novena so my grieving family members who could not travel had a way to mourn, but after the novena I felt an empty space in my prayer life. Well I’ve struggled with a personally with the rosary, except for the 7 sorrows which I was personally given by a nun when I was at university. So I looked up a video the rosary wanting my grandfather’s wishes and I found Gabi’s and saw the one with Tammy and thought it was amazing. Well his videos kept popping up after and I kept telling my self “oh I’ll watch that later” but could never remember the name of the channel. He was even speaking at a parish near by on my birthday and I was so tempted to go but I had forgotten where I had seen the post. I started wanting to start praying the rosary where I could so I looked up a video on 7 sorrows and Gabi had a talk about it and it was so encouraging and changed my perspective on somethings. And so now it’s been a couple of videos now and it has been so motivating! My prayer life has deepened immensely (many other factors involved) Turns out for years my mom has been very good friends with one of the priests at his parishes, to which im always invited to, and they will be offering a mass for my grandfather tonight. What a small world ! I feel like I was going to run into his messages one way or another. Mary knows how much I need her help!

I think what's interesting about this is we're only taking his perspective and we haven't even heard from the priest who fired him. There's always two sides to a story and i'm sure that there's another side to this as well that We are not made aware of. By even giving this guy a platform, we're just further in him gossiping about it. Read the way of perfection by Teresa of Avila, in fact, read her story. She didn't even defend herself against charges made up against her. Furthermore, the charismatic beliefs come from protestanism. They do not come from our rich ancient tradition. All of these characteristics always have these stories about healing that they claim. But upon further inspection, we find out that they're not miracles, as they say. In fact, they rely on miracles to validate their perspective because holy tradition is not enough.

I have my doubts about that because I've heard charismatic.People try to say that stuff to appeal To traditionalists when they are called out for pushing their wacky nonsense. He talked about praying over all of these children... Father rippinger says, you should never let someone pray over your child that way.And in fact the worst case of Demon possession that he had ever come in contact with was somebody who was engaging in these charismatic beliefs. For all we know, these parents were quite traditionalists. And they went to their priest with this concern and the priest told Gabby to knock it off but he wouldn't listen. Let's get this clear. He has no right to be engaging in these beliefs without the parents approval. If he thinks he's being moved by tradition, he's wrong. And let's get this straight also.... We don't even know the priest's perspective because he's never come forward with it to our knowledge. So everything we just heard from Gabby is actually gossip. And it could even be slander if it's not the truth about why he was let go from that position. And this idea that another church gives him free reign to do whatever he wants is very dangerous and out of line with our tradition.
