If Cyberpunk wasn't rushed it wouldn't have major game breaking bugs, if the game didn't make shortcuts it would have been a finished game. It's not just about gameplay tho. There is a whole dynamic with content creation. Games that have more gameplay in a shorter amount of time is better for streaming content where viewers wanna see action and comment on what they're seeing continuously. There's games as a product, games as art, and games as a vehicle for fun. It doesn't matter if a game has stickman graphics, if the loop is simple and fun, that's chill! If you spend a billion dollars working on cutting edge graphics, monetization, and having lots of content, that won't matter if the fun factor gets bogged down by all the extra fluff.

People want high dose of entertainment and fun in short time and easy way to get a sense of achievement . If you want someone to invest more time into something, it has to be extremely meaningful that they'd stay for sequels. Its kind of like difference between enjoying life at parties todya vs working hard for 10 years to enjoy life forever ahead. Most would settle for number 1. All the best Game Developers!
