I've been as sick as a dog for almost 10 years. I've had surgeries, countless medications, misdiagnosed and denied denied any assistance whatsoever. My new doctor found a severe b1 deficiency and a gene mutation. Prescribed B1 vitamins and I'm currently going on two months without any major symptoms. 5xstronger and capable of being a person again.
If you want to have no nutrient deficiency’s I researched all essential vit/minerals/amino fatty acids and found out that if you eat eggs/hemp seeds/fruits you get all of them without killing a plant or animal
@@BoBoy711 will you please share what Brandy bought how many MG's? Was it prescription or over-the-counter? I really want to get this from my mom who suffers daily with anxiety
This guy does an incredible job of explaining things, but man - I feel like my blood pressure is rising just listening to him describe what raises blood pressure
My father was told he had Parkinsons by Multiple docs, put on meds.....only to find out it was SIDE EFFECTS of another drug he was taking!!!!!.....finally another doctor seemed to think it was something else, cut a certain Med, and magically all the symptoms were gone. The crazy part is everything happened over a Long period of months....there was No reason to suspect the medication, until we started researching severe side effects....i was so angry and lost all faith in medicine after that....but just glad my dad was normal again! But its so crazy to think this happened, and it was real.
I’ve had doctors try to put me on blood pressure and cholesterol medication when I was in my 20s…. I told them no flat out to their face. Now I’m in my thirties and all my numbers are good. Don’t know if I have a healthier lifestyle now, or if those doctors were just incompetent. But it’s insane to try to put someone in their 20’s on blood pressure medication.
High blood pressure runs in my family, but so does obesity. My blood pressure topped out at 150+/90+. Medication brought it down, but this year I decided to get my health in order. Dropped 70 lbs, exercise 1 hour+ daily, eating more whole food based and less sodium, and I consume beet juice. Blood pressure now hovering around 120/65, and completely off medication. Genetics matter, but it seems in my case BMI and V02 max were the big thing. This has been a huge motivator to stay extremely fit.
@@hackinglongevitybeet juice is delicious and healthy; don’t listen to the conspiracy nuts who tell you vegetables are toxic-they’re literally the healthiest foods you can eat
Allah says in the quran that he guides who he wills , and ALLAH says in the quran that he gives light to whom he wills , when Allah guides you and gives you light you will 100 percent believe in his existence , but first you got to believe in god and practice islam and pray for ALLAH to guide you and give you light , than if he wills he will guide you and give you light
I was about to be put on blood pressure meds until one of the more experienced nurses used a properly sized cuff for a bigger dude with a manual device, and found my pressure was completely normal, when physician offices can barely measure blood pressure accurately, imagine figuring out you have some genetic disorder lol
This!! I have to manually ask for the "big man" cuff even though im 5'8". My biceps are big from working out and they constantly read high on regular ones, it even hurts beyond normal
I am a Nutritionist and I approve of the message. 👍 This is the almost the same exact things I have been telling my clients for years. I would tell them, "Most of our ailments are a result of something we are not getting enough of or something we are getting too much of."
It sounds like it's really just processed foods. It has chemicals that we don't need that actively hurt us. And then it's void of nutrients that we do need that would heal us
I hate thinking about shit like this. I don't have access to top notch doctors. Mine are like, "you have high blood pressure, here try some psychiatric medication."
@@ryanvonderheyden1783hes talking about human biology and that TMG stuff he talks about does what he says it does. You have google right infront of you.
I also had hypertension with a BP of 140s/mid 90s. My doc wanted to put me on medication and statins. I went on keto, but added greens and keto approved veggies. I am now in the high 110s/over high 70s. Diet is very much a part of blood pressure. Cut back on the booze and eat better. It's not crazy science and easier to do than people think.
I get 150/90 I still eat 60% carbs. Only thing I changed, brisk walking 30 min daily, intermittent fasting and cutting off people who I don't like anymore. My BP is around 130/82 normally and heart rate went down to 75-80
@@craigcrawford6749 hyperlipidemia can lead to plaque build up in vessels over time which can cause hypertension since your heart is pumping harder to push blood through occluded vessels and if left untreated can lead to something more serious like heart attack or stroke. Everything is systemic and connected.
@@joeseo8544 you need to learn more man. The cholesterol is a HEALING mechanism that your body uses to fix the damage in your arteries due to inflamation. The cholesterol ISNT the cause, its part of the cure. Thats why people with higher cholesterol actually live longer, not shorter lives. Pulling the cholesterol out of your system is idiotic. You are right, everything is a system and connected and I would recomeend you learn something about cholesterol. ITs so vital for life that every single cell in your body produces it. What happened when you went on statins? I already know, you got brain fog, your speech maybe got a bit slurry, your testosterone levels plummeted, and eventually you will get cancer or dementia, or both. Study man study. Statins will kill you
He does come off that way I agree, but I also think it's possible he isn't actually capable of articulating it in any more detail because he doesn't have the depth of knowledge. As with anything, worth doing a lot of alternative research before rushing out for the supplement (and definitely not without the genetic test first) 👍
He has actually a photographic memory and can recall 99% of that which he reads. He is so good that he has to be careful of what to read as to not absorb unuseful information. True facts
So true. Hypertension is often misconstrued as a disease, when it’s actually a symptom of an underlying condition, most of which are correctable. Unfortunately, the battery of tests one would have to go through in order to rule out and hopefully determine the etiology of the hypertension are many and costly. It’s just easier for the patient to take the prescribed meds and then procrastinate on getting all the tests completed. Many people lack the insurance or the resources to realize the follow up evaluation. As such, only a fraction of those who are diagnosed with hypertension can actually complete the follow up diagnostics.
Hello Joe, I’m a research immunotoxicologist specialized in autoimmunity. I was disabled by 7 autoimmune diseases for 15 years but now I’m healed… the same way Gary Burka is helping people. Dude... Gary has been literally telling people you shouldn't blend smoothis.... guess what?... now he sell's protein powder... and reccomends everyone use his powders in blended smoothies... he's a scammer...
@@waynehedd He probably didn't recommend blending stuff because he thought it lead to bacteria dysbiosis because bacteria needs to break down bigger parts and not blended stuff. Either way, its probably not a big deal to have a meal blended now and then.
This is by far the most important topic I've ever heard.. i am really lucky for stumbling across this discussion, i recently have high blood pressure, which is ridiculous based on the fact that i am a very active individual.. i exercise a lot yet i still have high blood pressure. Now i know why. Thank you Gary, what you share today might be a life changer for millions of people
VERY interesting. I had a tree that was losing leaves and we had a tree surgeon come out and put certain rocks around and fed it every month. I could watch this guy all day!
Day 155 carnivore diet here. Brecka isn't kidding about nutritious diets. I'm off all meds. Inflammation healed. Lost over 50 lbs. No more coffee/alcohol dependance. Chronic dizziness and migraines gone. Eosinophilic esophagitis gone. GERD gone. Chronic tennis elbows gone. Chest and back acne cleared up. More stuff has healed than I can even remember. Everything is healing. Every health problem I've had for a decade or more was idiopathic.... until I stopped eating that NON food in the stores. Now I know what caused it.
It’s not carnivore particularly that’s healing you it’s being on a keto diet. And if you want to be even more healthy and gain more benefits you can eat a plant based keto diet.
My mom has CVD and it causes blood clots sometimes and that caused her to lose a leg. People should always have their blood pressure checked every possible opportunity
My doctor diagnosed me with high blood pressure a few years ago. I'm extremely healthy, I eat very clean, and work out almost every day. His only answer to why I have high blood pressure is it's 'genetic'. I've never accepted that answer, something has to be causing it! I'm going to get tested for the possibility of a genetic mutation such as this, thank you!
This is very interesting, I am a disabled combat veteran currently seeking medical attention through the VA Administration. One of the things I am currently being treated for is high blood pressure which is normally running between 170-190 and all they keep doing is increasing my dosage of lisinopril. Constant headaches, severe ringing in my ears and most days my lips and face tingle and I can feel my heart beating throughout my face. Evidently they are not treating me as they should.
I was in the same boat. They threw everything at me and my levels, which were similar to yours never came down. I found out about one they hardly use anymore called telmisartin and my levels dropped considerably. I'm gonna give this TMG a shot n see where that goes.
Track your diet in Cronometer and monitor your micro and macronutrients. Basically only eat an amount of carbs your body can handle while remaining insulin sensitive and make sure you get adequate electrolytes.
fellow vet here, VA doc changed my meds from Lisinopril to an ARB and a calcium channel blocker and my BP is finally under control... have your Doc explore that option.
I love Rogans podcast. Been watching him since fear factor since a kid i can honestly say I’ve watched parts of his career from fear factor, stand up, ufc, this podcast but man he’s gotten so skilled with it no wonder the dudes a G.
Went and listened to the full pod, every time had to take notes and check Amazon for each item he mentioned 😅imagine that was a full ad pod where every question is the set up for a product plug 😂 I would be devastated
I am 29 years old. And I have had consistent high blood pressure for the last 5-6 years. It is always in 140-150 region. My body has gotten so used to it, that I don't even feel anything wrong any more. I only start getting headaches once the pressure is 160+. I have gone to so many doctors, all of them run tests on my heart and cardio vascular system and the results are always normal, just like Gary describes. It is so good to hear all this and relate myself to what he is saying
I have had chronic headaches, anxiety, fatigue most of my adult life. Then I got cancer. It wasn't until I saw this Brecka guy on tiktok that I realized I may have the genetic mutation that regulates methylation. I messaged my primary health care provider about but it was obvious she had no idea what I was talking about but she said we could discuss it in Feb which is my next physical. Just for the hell of it I bought a B Complex supplement with methylated b and c vitamins. Within a week I noticed a huge difference in my sleeping, my energy level, less headaches. After watching this video my next purchase is going to be the trimethylglycine supplement Brecka talked about.
FINALLY! I've been hoping you'd get him on. I heard him on another podcast this last February, and because of his suggestions had my DNA test run through a company that would tell me my methylation genes so that I could take the supplements specific to me. Within a week I got rid of decades of chronic insomnia, my gut health was drastically improved, and other great results. I still struggle to be consistent with some of the changes, but I've never experienced such clear and sustained improvement in my health, period.
Saying a boxing promoter who lies for a living “brave enough to speak the truth” is just pure comedy. Let me guess, he said something you liked and now he’s a brave and honest guy?
We’re the fattest country in the world . The most underslept. The most stressed out. The most talkative. The most unhealthy diets. How is this a surprise to anyone
Hypertension was defined in the u.s. and Europe as 140/90 for years. 5 or so years ago, the u.s. reduced the figure to 130/80, while Europe found the reduction unsupported and its still at 140/90. This does not mean it's "optimal".
As a auto tech we were taught to approach every problem like this. Symptom, system, component, cause. Find the symptoms, narrow down the system and how it functions. Identify the components and then the cause.
Snake oil $9000 for a generic tanning bed with red lights. Get some red leds and turn them on at night and then take a cold shower in the morning BOOM, now you have the same program without the rich people snake oil price tag.
@@TruStoogeDrew. Its probably a good routine to have, but like anything else the prices are ridiculous and not even feasible for a working class person. If its a workout and health program that requires $10,000 just to start its not about helping people but about getting rich people to buy it. If he really wanted to help people he would do his tests at a reasonable rate. I called after this interview just to see the cost. I could get a facelift and 2 lasik eye surgeries for both eyes for less than the starting price of the genetic DNA and blood tests! $10,000 is the lowest tier!! So that lets me know its a con game.

He didn’t pay hundred of thousands for that info? he spent it on red light therapy bed, cold plunge etc. which if your a multimillionaire you can afford the best of each thing, but doesn’t necessarily require you to spend tens of thousands on each, he even states you don’t need these at that price and can still benefit off much cheaper alternatives. if you look at the research there’s clear benefits
@martindavis4287 it's a mechanism that allows turning off(+methyl) or on (-methyl) certain portions of DNA, thereby controlling which genes are on or off in that region. DNA methylation is a biological process by which methyl groups are added to the DNA molecule. Methylation can change the activity of a DNA segment without changing the sequence. When located in a gene promoter, DNA methylation typically acts to repress gene transcription. In mammals, DNA methylation is essential for normal development and is associated with a number of key processes including genomic imprinting, X-chromosome inactivation, repression of transposable elements, aging, and carcinogenesis.
