Even though I love the J4's(breds and cements to be exact) I'm not crazy about these Fire Reds. But I'm gonna grab a pair just because my homeboy that passed away had the first pair I've ever seen back in high school. I'll rock these just for him. RIP Cee!

I’m 44 yrs old and it blows my mind I legit used to cut grass in these as a kid. Nostalgia runs deep with the 3’s and 4’s for me. Gotta say the shoe lottery Nike is running is trash tho. Hopefully these aren’t as hard to cop.
I had the original white cement ones in 1989 when I was 15, so these being one of the original color ways that I never had, makes this a must cop for me!! The Nostalgia I feel when I see these, just brings me back to when I was in high school. Love it!
Man. This shoe, particular colorway, brings back so many memories. Takes me back to the 6th grade. I'm 43 now and hit on the shock drop, which happened on my birthday October 27th. What a great gift from SNKRS. I will be tripling up on these though. Its my grail.
My first pair of Jordan's back in 89,were the Military Blue 4s. I was able to cop these on the shockdrop. I'm very pleased with the Fire Red 4s,these are one of my grales.

Foamer I will have to say these are a 20/10 for me and the reason been is that these were my 1st ever pair of Air Jordans, this same colorway, back in 1989 when I was only 11 years old. This is the sneaker that started it all for me and made me fall in love with kicks, fall in love with MJ, made me fall in love with Air Jordans. I became a sneakerhead because of these back when I was just a kid. They were a size 8 and still can remember my dads face when he had to pay $110 for them. Funny how 31 years later I can have the one that made me love the kicks game. Thanks Nike, thanks JB for bringing these back in OG form.
For me these are 10 out of 10. My first Jordan’s ever, I was 10 when I got these. first $100+ shoes. Needless to say, I didn’t get any more shoes for the rest of the school year 🤣.
For that type of compromised it was well worth it. And not only that but for some reasone no matter what pair you get you can't stop strirng at them. You just be sitting there examining the sneakers.
@@damienramseur8261 Mine as well. By leaps and bounds. Everybody I talk to seems to be that their GRAIL is the one that they got when they were like 12 to 15. Nostalgia is powerful. I got my first pair of Jordan 1's in 85 or 86 when I was 10 or 11 so when the 3's and 4's came out in 88 and 89 I was at that age to where now they are my favorites. Like you sir, my GRAIL'S are black cement 4's. Although after the 1999 retro, in my opinion, they have been atrocious. The last black cement 4's were pretty good. They could have been so much better though. Peace
10/10 for me. I was the first one to have these back in 8th grade. Forever a classic and I'm glad to see them back with the Nike Air on the heel. Now they just need to stop delaying the military 4's!!! The classics do hit differently though😉.
The original Fire Red 4 dropped 01/01/1989 and after months of cutting lawns I saved enough dough to cop. It was the most expensive purchase I ever made as kid and I used them every day for years. Played ball, went to church, school I wore these till the soles crumbled. I don’t have to cut grass to get the 2020 OG pair but I am saving coins to cop these at $200. The leather looks just as I remember🔥thanks for the review fellas. Nostalgia brings back the shot MJ made over Craig Ehlo when the Bulls won over Cavs. I give these a 10/10
Honestly, this wasn't my favorite retro Jordan, but after deciding which retro to wear with my red jordan jersey and camo joggers for Halloween and comparing them to my jordan 3 denims and aj5 fire red, the aj4s have such a balance of white with red and black hits! Imo this aj4 matches best with a red jordan jersey. Perfect color blocking even tho any chicago color jordan willmgo with a jersey. My favorite AJ isnprobably the 11s, 5s, and 1s, but I can easily see the 4s creep up to a top 3 for me. Again another great review! Keep up the amazing content!

4s are either 2nd or 3rd to the Jordan 1. The 3s and the 4s are interchangeable. This colorway is behind the Cool Greys, Cactus Jacks, White Cements, Metallic Greens, and the Breds in my opinion
I was a six grader back in1989~90 and I don't speak English at all coming from Hong Kong to the States when I first saw this model and colourway wearing by my classmate in class!!! I don't even know his size was kids sizes or what ......This is my first known Air Jordan's model in my life !! I will cop it in Hong Kong this month when releases !!!!
I remember the day I got my 1st pair. My dad brought ‘em home for me and I was pretty young that he helped me untie them them to try ‘em on and make sure they fit. While doing so he was giving me some background on how it was possible MJ’s best season averaging 33, 8, and 8 in these. Which is insane at that time when averaging 30+ wasn’t some normal thing with the physicality and rules, with not many 3’d taken then. And he got em for me reluctantly, I might add being a die hard Bad Boys Piston’s fan. But he knew MJ was my favorite player. I didn’t understand the rivalry as well as him being so young, but now I know it must have hurt him to go and pay money for em when MJ was absolutely HATED here in Michigan. Lol I learned pretty quick after we won back to back titles, but then Jordan took our heart once Pippen matured and MJ got in that weight room. We couldn’t just body slam his ass every time he came in the paint anymore. MJ was actually dishing out some of his own punishment in 91. But these are my all time favorites. I wore them so much the the bottoms almost wore through playing ball.

There was nothing else like the shoe up to that point. Of course I didn’t own a pair of Jordan’s until around 99 when I got out of school and got myself a job but needless to say these are very nostalgic and a must cop for me. 10/10
These are IT for me. Jordan 4s, 5s and 6s were the shoes to have when I was in junior high and highschool. I was into running at the time too so the Max 90s and 180s were the other dream shoes. Out of all of them the 180s were the shoes I got at that time, but I always wanted fire red 4s, and the black 5s and 6s.
This one is a banger! Definitely chalk full of nostalgia. It's from summer in between sophomore and junior year. For me it sits right behind the bred colorway. With all due respect for the Off-White, Cactus Jack, Levi's and snakeskin models. These were with me as me and friends walked the neighborhood shoving fingers in one anothers faces to prove how great a weekend it was! 😂 Mine are in the mail from GOAT as I type. A definite 11/10 for me.
I got the “W” on the shock drop. These are a 10. The Fire Red 4s were my 1st ever pair of Js when I was in middle school. I have to admit I cried when I got the “W”. It took me right back to 7th grade.
Had these in ‘89 playing Jr High basketball. I still have the box (sadly, not the shoes). I just got ‘em on the Shock Drop on SNKRS. Easy 10 out of 10. Grail for me!

These are my first pair of jordans and is what started my “sneaker head” rabbit hole journey. Always loved my trainers but these introduced me a whole culture. For me these are some of the coolest trainers ever. I’d say 9/10 too just bec of the shape of the outside mid sole which, I understand is designed like that as a basketball shoe. Love them! Just bought a pair of Carmines too!
My first Air Jordan I remember had irritated my mother for weeks. I saw all the kids at school with the Bred color or maybe the Cement 3s I was in love. I could only find them in the white color and this was that shoe to start things.
I love the 4’s in general, but I’ll give these an 8/10. I would put the military blue’s over these and red is my favorite color. You can’t go wrong with any of the og 4 color ways in your collection.

White cement 4's were my 1st pair of Jordans I got. 10 years old. Got the bred 4's when they dropped couple years ago. Thankfully this is a GR cause I gotta get a pair (or 2) of these. Love the OG colorways.
OG colorway!!! Even though I have 4 legit Fire Reds in my collection back in the day, I'd bought several counterfeits just to satisfy my obsession to this colorway.
hope y'all got blessed today. I hit on both snkr accounts same personal size in that 11.5 one if going straight to feet and the second pair is going on ice for 30 more years. Jordan 4 is second for me right behind the AJ1 & right ahead of the 12. These compare with the Breds for me
Never had these back in '89 but half my team played in them. I managed to get the white cements in 2016, and the Breds in 2019 so need these also. Great video as always guys!

My grail. I remember seeing a few US basketball players here in Portugal, back in the day, playing for "Barreirense" wearing these...and of course, MJ. I hope to be able to get them, size 9.
