I made this video because I loved playing this game and wanted to share that love with you all I hope this helps people get into the game, I want more people like me to find this great community.
This is a surprisingly good channel, you really deserve more attention. If you like Rivals you should check out its workshop characters, they're pretty cool.
Yea for sure! You'll find a lot of funny dumb meme characters on the front pages of Steam and stuff, but if you dig past the surface a bit, it honestly has some of the craziest, coolest, and best characters I've ever seen in a platform fighter lol. There's even a competitive scene for Workshop if you look in the right places (it's pretty small tbh, but also pretty tight-knit and welcoming).
17:08 he actually had a 4th option, no tech, which is the fastest actionable option. It's sometimes optimal, such as on plat techchase scenarios where it's easy to follow tech rolls.
Wait! Light Up the Night!?!? BRUH! Instant sub. This song is goated and The Protomen are such an underrated and amazing band!!! Also, loved the whole vid. Props and keep at it!
This was exetremely relatable bc i used to play brawlhalla and after 2 years my friend startwd playing so every day i would hop on with him and destroy him (we kept count) 1641 wins for me and 4 wins for him ik that sounds unrealistic we played like a dozen matches every day
Hello I play Olympia and I live in New York. But do not avoid me because they nerfed her since this video came out so therefore it's okay to play her now.
Relate so damn hard to the hyperfixation. I'm here seeing if I should pick up the game and it's beginning to look like a resounding yes, so I can further distance myself from any real responsibilities
@@sefflikejeff1917 it does nothing but it's the most expensive item in the shop. It's like buying a Gucci belt instead of a gun in the middle of a fight.
How do you keep playing a game you get smashed at. I never play against friends in any fighting games because they just quit when I win. You're really good for just 24 hours because of playing smash. You got GOLD. It took me like 200 hours before I win a single online game to get bronze 4
24:53 that whole last stock of the video was amazing, it's so cool seeing you go from the massive lose streak in the beginning to hitting that kind of wild stuff! That backstory bit with the college friend was somewhst relatable to me, my friend once Trial by Fire'd me into being pretty good at... Metroid Blast in Nintendo Land of all things. Turns out being beaten up so many times is a pretty effective way to improve at pvp games, especially when it's against the same person the whole time because on top of just getting better at the game you can also download all their little habits and learn to use those against them
Hi dude! This video was insanely relatable for me, I also started playing competitive Smash in Smash 4 and constantly played one of my friends who would CONSISTENTLY 3-stock me, got better at Smash, then gave rivals a shot. It's super cool to see your journey of improvement (especially as someone who connected with/wants to main orcane as well). Funny and informative stuff, dude! I'd love to play you sometime, subbed for sure :)
When i first played rivals there were like 4 characters only or something I also played orcane a lot then but it in the end i decided the game wasn’t for me and haven’t played since
the fact that the time added together only equals 23 hours and 59 minutes is killing me I'm sure if it showed seconds it would be 24 hours but the fact that it is just 1 minute off. lol anyway the content is great and more would be amazing.
Great video man I love seeing more content for the game being created. I'm really glad you enjoyed your time and you had really great and fast improvement. Hope you continue to play!
as a man who multi mains: olympia, kragg, pomme, zetteburn and ori, i absoluetly hate getting outplayed by orcane players, but it happens to me every time.
@@sefflikejeff1917 not a top player per say, but I’ve def heard the name, another good way to improve is to play in brackets suited for your skill level, if you hit me up on discord I can recommend you some
