I’ve used Frostees with No Hesitation, Ember of Benevolence, Healing Nade, and Lightweight Knives (because now we have 2) for easy Radiant application. And never has my fantasy of being a support role been more fulfilled.
What Cross didn’t mention is that the frame itself does 10% more damage than a regular 600rmp AR like Summoner. This is without the support frame boost active.
I gotta tell you I love this new auto rifle it has saved my fire team so many times now. When you go into a random with a group that has a guy on it that's the weak link he's not as fast to get pine covor he takes risks that he shouldn't be. Being able to cover the weak link without auto rifle has squeezed just enough health back into him that he can get high cover. And back into the fight. And that's just a game changer right there.
Was actually the first gun I crafted this season. It's fun turning my brain on and just letting everyone go be the big D gaurdian I will keep you Alive longer haha.
I enjoy running my rifle with Physic + Incandescent, I tried it with Physic + CoL and it was good, but Incandescent giving ad-clear without needing to swap is really nice.
I got an overflow + circle of life roll. It overflows up to 89 bullets. I can't tell you how many times I just spun around and hosed healing bullets in the direction of my teammates and gotten their butts out of the fire 🤣 is also tons of fun to take into strokes or nightfall and just be hosing a teammate with healing bullets while they stand in the shrieker/ogre/death beam and unleash all the heavy ammo. Its so fun to watch them go wild with power. The only problem is if i die, there gies the team 😅
Been using this with solar warlock and it is a key part of the build imo, especially in PvE. However... if resto x2 isn't meant to be then if removed it'll make this a dead weapon as resto x2 is what really makes it work for harder than normal content like 2005 power lvl and truthfully it isn't even needed then with other plays to choose.
Been wondering about this... Any Warlocks out there been pairing these with Boots Of The Assembler? I'd imagine pairing it with Lumina is a bit OTT as they're doing pretty much the same thing in slightly different ways! But with Boots + this AR you're mega healing & empowering your team mates. BUUUUUTTTT!!! Is there actually any synergy do they work together? OR are Boots pretty useless now with Speakers Mask?
It's a shame the enhanced restoration will be fixed to something like 1 extra second of restoration x1 or just a minor stat buff given bungie's record with enhanced traits
It's like Lumina to me. I'd rather use my Luna's Howl with Heal Clip as, to me, everything is more efficient, than get charges and then hip fire at allies. Heal Clip all I have to do is reload and, bomb, Bob's your uncle.
I used this gun with my son(9) when we played through the campaign together. It was such a fun time balancing damage and healing. It also let me just sit back and let him do the actual fighting and I could heal from the side and help when needed. Was very fun.
Idk if it just me, but precious scars seems to be bugged at least for a couple guns. I was using it with red death and never got resto up but when I’d get a kill with mountaintop I’d get resto
Been running that set up enhanced thru the Master NF this week and I've never been thanked so much for my build before 😂 people love the support build and I love playing it so win-win all around.
I’d take Frenzy or Circle of Life over Incandescent if you’re not on Solar though tbh. Incandescent itself does no damage and requires 3 rapid kills on enemies next to each other + a fourth to ignite. A damage bonus on this gun makes it feel so much better when using it on ads.
@@Xander--gd5lb Its a 37.5% damage bonus, I'd rather slay enemies easier and get the healing charged up. Running helion and a melee should be enough to scorch enemies for the fragments to activate.
We need more healing in pve. People will say that it makes the game easier, but doing a GM and having multiple ways to heal other than picking up orbs is just cool!
banner of war, healing grenade, healing rift, phoenix dive, heat rises phoenix dive, ember of empyrean, sol invictus, well of radiance, heal clip, combination blow, assassin’s cowl, wormhusk crown, that shitty warlock melee exotic I can’t remember the name of, splendor, alpha lupi, precious scars, etc. pve is NOT in desperate need of more sources of healing
From a healslut, I love this gun AND the visible health bars and friendlies. I used Lumina often but I hate HCs. This AR paired with the heal-turret helm has made the game so fun for me.
One thing I'm most interested/excited about with this gun is the hope that we might get 'heal check' or tanking mechanics in raids and dungeons later on. Imagine your whole fireteam has to pour healing into one player so they can outlast a boss or encounter. It could be a fun way to change up the usual DMG check phases.
Nice idea. I think if we ever got one last darkness class being that “nightmare” one that was rumored a couple months ago, a raid centered on fighting your fears in order to manifest them would fit that dmg check mechanic, especially since the weapon is enhanced by the traveler
7:29 Demo no longer gives a flat 11% per kill, depends on your grenades recharge rate ie a fusion grenade will take 10 kills, a solar nade will take 18 kills. Toidi made an amazing video a month ago talking about the demo nerf.
I’m proud to say that I’ve been a day one no hesitation/speakers sight user. Campaign dropped 5 red borders in a row for me and I haven’t taken it off since. Its absurd. It’s absurd in pve and pvp. It’s so much fun to use. I will say in pvp it probably is only decent for the highest tier of players, but for us, who are above average, it shines. It’s going to make lighthouse carries a lot different. Blueberries can pop arc soul/bleakwatcher to charge their heals and then just mercy pocket their carry with the auto rifle and healing nades. Awesome.
I’m excited to see future weapons in this frame with different subclass verbs tied in. Imagine a void on that grants devour, or a strand one that gives wovenmail. I’d even like to see some new arc survivability thrown in. I also have dreams of an exotic one that could change its element like hard light or based on your super affinity.
@@MPblackpride6950 Name a gun like it. You can't. That's the point of most exotics, unique and different then others in its class and this gun has no equal in any regard. That's why it feels like it should be exotic, because it feels exotic.
Am I the only one who feels like "enhanced" perks need a buff? There's TOO many of them that BARELY justify using the resources on them at ALL with how little they do anything! WOW ONE WHOLE SECOND for a thing!.... Like really?
This gun made legendary campaign missions a joke I’m talking about the macrocasm quest, it’s really really good and as some one who’s fav exotic is lumina, this is my standard rotation
I have not taken this gun off since I got it. I LOVE being the support in games its so much fun and now that this is in destiny, I can be a medic. I have saved my m8 so much times he doesn't even realise it, kinda reminds me of playing Battlefield 1.
Surprised cross didn’t mention the Phoenix Cradle synergy on titan, especially since the gun can roll incandescent. That is one of the best support builds in the game right now imo.
Just wanna say speakers sight works with the warlock exotic glaive And on solar with the aspect it can give resto x2 Used it in onslaught and literally could never die…until I did cuz my teammates left at wave 49🙄
Have been loving when my teammates run this weapon for me 😆 It does feel kinda great to see teammates health go up, but the non-hitscan is so weird to get used to.
Obviously when has a primary weapon ever been about the damage it can offer. Its about the utility it can offer. Special weapon and heavy weapons are for damage.
@@LuciferMoringstar999 in anything "expert" and above you want your primary to be able to deal with red bars and orange bars, most legendary side arms, pulse rifles(now) and especially hand cannons destroy those enemies no problem. Auto rifles still struggle, unless you're running double special with a rocket sidearm then ignore everything.
the fact that this is what a legendary weapon can look like now is just absurd. a gun that can heal allies and yourself with restoration, have AoE effects with incandescent, and grant a damage buff to all your weapons should absolutely be exotic. but im not complaining! :)
So the 2x resto is a "bug" that's getting patched and Warlock will STILL be the only class that can get 2x resto... Yeah that's TOTALLY fair Bungo dev team who's 99.9% warlock mains... You classist floating monkeys.
Even if they fixed a bug that nerfs Enhanced Physic, it’s still an insanely strong stay alive weapon. If you ever start a Resto x2 buff, this can basically keep it up forever while you’re in a team. Gotta go Incandescent + Physic IMO since primary weapons are meant for add clear
I grinded overthrow for redborders and just got mine last night to craft. Ive been waiting for you to cover this gun, its healing capabilites are unreal. Now i can finally fire up the raid. I didnt want to go in until i had this
Oi, i LOVE playing support. It why i picked sunsinger originally but other than “song of flame” it didnt have much going for that. So when they made rifts and attunment of grace/well i was so happy. I asked for song of flame buffs in d1 for so long and now we have it in d2 lol. My allies still dont make good use of it though. I wish it lasted longer when near allies like banner.
This gun has been amazing. Already had a strand support build with BoW and Precious Scars. Been enjoying this gun letting me branch out in subclass and add clear options.
I have a Luna Well build ( which is gonna be replaced with a Speaker Well one), a Cenotaph Div Well build, and a Phoenix Well build; I have 0 PvP or Gambit builds (despite playing both). We support mains do in fact exist! And yes I have already crafted, levelled to 20 and enhanced a Physic Circle No Hesitation ....
The way my crafted version is set up….. I love circle of life and physic so murch! Been thinking about incandescent. Or demolition. I’m conflicted. AND THE GUN FEELS SO GOOD
missed opportunity to make a glaive/trace combo exotic that heals allies and has incandescent. Seraph's Spear- "With Light, I am cleansed." Searing Flame: continuously shooting at enemies scorches them (10 stacks for 5 ammo) Healing Light: continuously shooting at allies applies restoration (5 seconds for 10 ammo) Exotic Catalyst, Burning Purpose: igniting an enemy with Searing Flame applies Cure to nearby allies, fulling healing an ally with Healing Light grants Radiance.
It’s only meant to proc resto x1. HOWEVER, all is not lost (for my fellow warlock support mains, especially with speakers sight). What you can do is convert the timer for the restoration x1 into x2, whether from heat rises/phoenix dive or touch of flame healing grenade, we can still get it up to that. More demanding? Yes. Impossible? No. Should still be the most potent legendary weapon in the game.

Its pretty good honestly, only 2 things holding it back. 1, its projectile based, and 2, its a 'remade' Pluperfect from undying, which its self was already an insane Auto Rifle.
As a FF14 AST I very much welcomed Speaker's Sight and No Hesi. For a good while Well/Lumina/Assembler was the best healer support build I could run, but with SoF giving us a grenade that deals dmg that can also be consumed to drop a healing turret mid super combined with the fact No Hesitation is a legendary freeing up my exotic, its the best I could ask for. Solid dmg and support all around
physic is so crazy, especially as a hunter having a way to immediately gain resto is soooo nice and ive been looking for ways ever since classy restoration has left. Also its so useful when you get suspended by enemies as you can pop the restoration in the air.
I got very lucky and within the first 2 days of Final Shape I got all 5 frames to craft this thing, made an entire loadout around it with Speaker's Mask, and have even used it as of yesterday in GM Nightfalls. I've probably healed more than I've killed with this gun. It's a ton of fun. Absolutely agree with Cross's S-tier ranking on this thing. Bungie cooked with this archetype.
I play this on my titan with the wish-ender. So long range targeted DPS, short range heal and add clear, then if shits hit the fan, I actually run a melee build with banner of war... SO close range heal and DPS is actually decent. Solo, I switch to Timeworn wayfarer. Both solar weapon, but Timeworn being a scout rifle can stun unstoppable champions. Wish ender deals with barrier, and my power weapon is a sword, which can handle overload (and start banner of war). While this build is clearly not GM-level ready, it's fun to run on other content.
My man reads and makes TWAB/TWID videos every week only to forget the info from them in a couple days. They specifically said the rifle is not supposed to give restoration×2 and instead it's supposed to be a longer restoration×1 buff if the perk is enhanced.
I always buy the expansion for my wife so we can play together (we've done every campaign since Beyond Light, and she's even done some raids and dungeons), and this gun has been so fun to use during this campaign. I previously used Lumina to keep her alive, and I still think Lumina has a place due to the damage boost, but I love the flexibility this gun provides with incandescent for ad clear on top of the healing. It's truly so fun and an added bonus to the Pale Heart weapons is that they all look SO DANG GOOD!! Seriously, maybe the only weapon set I've ever seen where I don't feel the need to change the shader since their design is so cool at base.
Honeslty. I dont like it. Because it fires like osteo striga, but without the tracking. Would have been better if, when you hip fire, it fires like osteo striga and heals your teammates. And when you ADS, it fires like a regular weapon
Fun fact Lumina with just like 1 noble round will full charge this weapon. I use it on a full support build on a warlock with speakers sight just to make sure EVERYONE! is healed and seeing 1 hand cannon shot full charge this weapon is wild *correction I just tried out other weapons just to see if it was only Lumina any other weapon damage will charge up this weapon just depends on the tier of enemy SO! You could run another heavy hitting weapon and switch to this gun to just heal.
Bungie confirmed enhanced physic is bugged, and shouldn't be granting restoration 2x. Kind of a shame that it's going to get fixed as it makes this gun a monster.
I personally run Physic and Incandescent. Heal and add clear galore :D I'ma be rocking support lock in GMs for sure. I don't mind one bit being a support. Usually my role of choice in MMOs
Speakers sight + Touch of flame + Hellion with benevolence + ember of searing No hesitation with physik+ incandescent Never ending solar buddy limitless heals and millions of orbs
I'm using a Demo/Circle of Life roll on my warlock, to get more healing grenades for Speaker's Sight and keep the damage buff of Circle active at all times, it work wonders XD
Attrition Orbs works on healing teammates. You have maximum uptime for Attrition Orbs and spawn orbs on allies so you can become a battery for your team as well. I'd rather speed up supers, Cayde's Retribution, and armor charge mods than have personal damage.
No use inside PVP? What about create orbs on demand by healing your allies (speaker's sight) and shoot to loot those orbs with kvostov for damage buff? ;-)
I have a question about the Physic perk. What does it even do? From what I'm seeing, it does the EXACT same thing as the base support frame, so I cant really see the difference between what the perk do that's different compared to the gun. If anyone can answer, it'd be very nice !
idk why people wouldn't use it... just because it says support, doesn't mean it doesn't kill stuff. It's still a GUN. Can use it same as any other, but with the added benefit of healing and buffing damage. You gotta be a total empty-head to pass on this gun just because it's a "support" weapon.
Bungie ohh there haveing fun ? Get the nerf hammer AGAIN! bungie is always nerfing our weapons a d am i the only one tired of it ! ? Bungie cant have a season without nerfing and disabling exotics and weapons . Wtf! Are t we supposed to kill the enemies? Solo player here bungie! Way to much work to play this damm game! Game is gone downhill ! Dont have time to do strikes unless i have 5 hrs to grind strike take way to long now ! Wtf!
Fallout posted a healing focused warlock build the other day using this gun and the healing exotic and it is FUN. AS. HELL. i have the whole thing saved just in case my team needs a healer.
Nah, not me. I'll gladly heal, because dead teammates do no damage. I'm a hunter main and I even switched to my well-lock, ran boots of the assembler, lumina and no hesitation to just be the most support I could possibly be. Of course my add clear took a major hit, but I don't mind to play support at all if it means the team stays alive. I did kind of the same thing with strongholds + double swords on my titan and became a tank. I really do enjoy that Bungie is finally letting us flex into our roles more. It's refreshing to an old WoW player like myself.
I'm ngl. I hate how they keep removing how special traits of exotics like lumina. Yes, now we have 2 healing guns, but why make it have the damage buff? That just makes it too similar imo
This gun is the basis for the phrase "I'm a healer, but..." Hopefully, this idea goes for support frame weapons goes to other weapon types. Support Frame Sniper or a Support Frame Shotgun already sound like great design ideas
