@Jesus Pernia the only reason I'm not mad at game freak for buffing raichu and not manectric is because I'm pretty sure raichu was nerfed at least once to protect pikachu from really
Yeah, but what it does have has made it extremely solid. Volt switch and flamethrower/overheat is pretty great. At least in NatDexUU. Mboi Regieleki is praying for even hidden power.
The time between the 10 minute long TTar video and this 30 minute long Manectric video really demonstrates how the channel is evolving. Still waiting for the TTar remake too!
@@SeannyyBGood eh it was probably on purpose after the charizard remake i understand talking about untiered pokemon and just bad pokemon for a while but i get what you mean
@@SeannyyBGood wow 1 month? That’s so bad lmao. Gen 1 is over here thinking…….ive not had a true good Pokémon covered in years.🤣🤣🤣. Mainly cause most gen 1 Pokémon sucked after gen 1.
I hope next week we go back to double videos, Hoenn has so many: Solrock/Lunatone, Volbeat/Illumise, Huntail/Gorebyss. You can even throw in a Zangoose/Seviper one just for the irony.
Tail and Gorebyss would be quite cool, since they're probably the most useful of ojt that trio you mentioned. Zangoose and Seviper would deserve videos by they own, since Zangoose is that meme pick that everyone at least tried out at one point, and like Ambipoom should be relevant by pure element of its uniqueness
Man I can't bear to watch Seviper. I love snakes and how sneaky and dangerous they look, but it's like Gamefreak hates snakes and makes every snake pokemon trash
I remember borrowing my friend's Ruby Edition in 8th grade and he had a blue Electrike sitting in a lonely box in his PC. I didn't know what it was, I asked him what it was and he said something like "I don't know either, but I don't want it to infect my other Pokémon. That's why it has a box for itself".
oh, how cute! someone in gen 6 was giving them out (i guess they made them through a thing?) and it had the mega stone with it. did you by chance find the stone?
8:07 I never knew that Zapdos could have Lighting Rod as an unreleased hidden ability before it was changed to Static. Edit: Thanks for 100 Likes everyone.
@@ActualTrash8 it wouldn't have helped, ledian is just that awful honestly like sure it could maybe deal some damage now, but its speed isn't actually that good and that special defence means nothing when you're weak to most physical attacks, and it also can't even tank fire, electric, and ice that well, which are all super SUPER commong

@@ActualTrash8 should have Confusion might stem from 'should've' (should-ev) sounding like that.
@@reaganmoyer864 The funny thing about this is that in vgc (the format Dynamax is balanced around), the bigger issues wouldve been Airstream, Starfall, Quake, and Steelspike
@@RazorusR3X777 yeah it probably would have been a normal type attack (just like metronome that is simply max Guard when before with z moves it chosed the move first)
Here's every Gen III mon FSG hasn't covered yet: Ninjask Exploud Delcatty Volbeat & Illumise Swalot Wailord Torkoal Grumpig Spinda (may God have mercy on your soul) Zangoose Seviper Lunatone Solrock Whiscash Castform Kecleon Tropius Huntail Gorebyss Relicanth Latios Deoxys (don't expect this one for a long while)
I have a specific trauma when I hear about it. When I was playing Emerald for the first time, right after going past Slateport City, I found a blue Electrike (it was the very first Electrike I came to cross). I just MudSlapped it and went on. After that all of them were green.
Manectric was my first Mega Pokémon in Alpha Sapphire, the game that introduced me to this wonderful world of Pokémon. Now, you're making me make a Manectric team for VGC.
Ah manectric. It was always a sure ball throw whenever I encountered an electrike. Watching it evolve for the first time exceeded my expectations. I always wondered why Watson didn't have it in his team in R/S.
The reduction in power for the moves that regular manectric relied on is really unfortunate ;-; Would have loved to see it do something in the lower tiers still. It not getting other buffs def didnt seem to help either ah well, I had low expectations and was super pleasantly suprised
Can we just appreciate how much footage this team has to edit together to make such a long video, the stream of Manetric using different moves in the middle had like 100 clips in there. Kudos.
I have done some research, and there are only a few pokemon left now until we finish the hoenn pokedex. all we still need are: Lunatone Solrock Delcatty Kecleon Swalot Torkoal Latios Grumpig Seviper Let's all do our best to help FSG finish hoenn. And you may say so if I forgot one.
18:14 , no matter how many times seeing and how many years passes. That legendary Pachirisu shall always have a special spot in the history of Hall of Fame. The real top tier % rodent that make Garchomp , TTar and Salamence hear boss music(LITERALLY) upon its entrance and CHOMPED them apart to become WORLD CHAMPION. It's also that match that pulls me back into Pokemon after stopping at Gen 4.
@Thx ❤ I hope you enjoy spamming people replies and comments advertising trying to take other people’s work to get somebody to click away. I hope you enjoy the fact that nobody cares and nobody will click. Enjoy ruining people’s views and annoying every. Thx.
The trend of unviable Gen 3 Pokemon has been bucked. But in all seriousness, I do like Manectric. It's Mega Evolution design looks pretty goofy looking I'm not gonna lie.
Great speed and great special attack. What an electric type stands for and Manectric was a much more menacing looking jolteon.Luxray was indeed a misfortune.I really feel bad for the guy , used to use hin a lot in D/P/Pt but in competitive it's just terrible. When Gen 4 was the Levitate-Intimidate generation both Magnezone and Rotom are much better choices.Magnezone though slow has great special attack special defense decent defense and great HP plus Magnet Rise gives it ground immunity. And Rotom has Levitate. And don't get me started on Luxray's overlimited movepool.I'll always use when it comes to playthroughs though , it helps a lot with Fantina and Wake or Candice if you teach it Iron Tail.
Finally Manetric! I love this Pokemon cos of it's design, it can use flamethrower but mainly cos I guess I grew up watching it on TV. Mega Manetric is a badass Pokemon and I appreciate this video. Thankyou Falsewipegaming for this video.
Ah Manetric. I remember when I did a small challenge along some friends, and McQueen (my Manetric) gave me the W. This mon holds a special place in my heart
@@giyuuJK the writer of FSG has a discord and people in that discord started using lantern as a joke in ou and it actually turned out to be quite decent
Kind of thought it'd be a fighter like Conkeldurr or Mienshao but still dope. One of my favorite electric types and one of my favorite megas! MEGA MANE BABY!!
I love Manectric It would make sure a great partner Pokémon, I bet it’s really fluffy despite its spiky appearance! And it can learn fire type moves, so it’d be nice and warm too!
Manectric was my mega pick in the USUM draft league tournament that my former workplace held before the pandemic hit. Granted, I was the last one to make a selection in the first draft round, which meant that most of the other megas were already snapped up by the time it came to my turn. My team, the Besaid Solrocks, was predominantly a rain team, though could function as a general balance team as well.
I played three most online battles in Gen 5 and Manectric was my favorite pokemon at the time, so I had a ton of fun teaching a bunch of people about lightning rod's new effects and that he now had access to Flamethrower lol
That's Game Freak's hate b*ner for Electric types for ya. (I tried posting this reply twice but it must've kept getting deleted because I said "b*ner" uncensored. Thanks RU-vid CEO)
Oh jeez, I had no idea that Mega Manetric had a base speed of 135. I thought it only had a base 90 Speed! But then again, I only played Y version so...
