Pit will always be the subspace emissary character to me. So many levels in which you played as him. Without subspace emissary I almost forget he exists on the roster
4:29 Rare appearance of Honest Content's evil twin, Dishonest Content in the background. I hope he makes another appearance in the next video. And it seems that Dishonest Content cut out the footage of Pit's glide attack, so it only shows Pit getting star KOed.
I feel like pit it underrated in ultimate, I use to hate on him but no he’s high tier. He’s so good. He’s still 40ish for me but top 60 is still low high tier for me.
Lowkey… I’d put him around top 20-25. The only thing really keeping him out of top tier is his lack of something absolutely insane. He’s genuinely almost 100% the only character in the game with no bullshit stupid dumbfuck thing to carry him around, and the only thing you could argue WAS got nerfed pretty bad. He’s just good :p
@@RNGuice I always think that, but then I remember that having nothing hugely special nor overpowered in a game with countless touch to death characters makes you bad, he can also struggle to kill greatly at times.
@@gawbe. I mean in the aspect of killing; he has a killing forward throw, arrow is one of the best edge guarding tools in the game imo, up tilt will combo into up air for ages, and down throw is a cool mixup option at ledge. So yeah while nothing has overtly good kill power he can typically string it all together pretty well.
I have been a main pit for several years now and I really feel that the character has very good tools, very fast ground movements and smash attacks, a projectile that can be directed, a reflector and a solid neutral, although nothing is particularly broken (except down b) in my experience he can go head to head with practically the entire roster, he has weaknesses like all the characters on the roster, but if you dedicate the time and patience to him you can do great things with him (just look at Zackray )
@@TommasoGabisi B tier in smash ultimate is high tier. It’s just set up weirdly as the S tier is just the top ten while A tier is still top tier. For example olimar is high tier but the tier list says B because it’s constricted. Even C tier could be passed as low high tier and D tier is mid tier in ultimate.
@@zukosvfxto be honest you can do a lot more with Pit than Lucina. Zackray has been doing good with his pit and is less predictable than lucina. In my mind Pit is because of his versatility he has solid ground tools, great throws, great smash attacks, multi jumps for mix ups, down b is pretty broken, and arrow is a fantastic projectile, and pretty alright Ariels. Esam put pit in high tier and his reasons for putting him there is convincing in his tier list video.
@@zukosvfxLucina doesnt have the arrow and orbitats that forces opponents to approach her. Pit much better vs zoners. Lucina is better vs rushdown/stubby characters though
Annoying voice clip excuse me?! Brawl Pit Side B is one of the most iconic and legendary special moves in smash history. It was both the best and worst special move before darkest lariat existed. Who didn’t love spamming HIYAYAYAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
