I am a government teacher in Rajasthan and I am quite happy with my job bcoz there are almost 5 holidays in a month and many other holidays like Diwali, summer vacations, winter vacations, ganeshotsav etc. Spends a lot of time with my family Rajasthan govt.pays good enough so no financial tentions And teaching innocent children in school is like a blessing you nvr get old while you are in your classroom every day is new and adventurous 😊 completely peaceful life and i am satisfied with it.
People don't think of teacher when they say Govt. job. everybody wants to be a bigshot officer or a corrupt clerk. Also teacher means you already did Education degree which means you wanted to be and were trained to be a teacher anyway. Govt jobs here mean generalist roles
As a wife of a grade A officer relate to each and every word spoken. Fortunately my son was able to see the rearview and convinced my husband that he will not even attempt civil services. For your audience it took him about two years to stop him from comparing his govt service with pay of private sector. Thankfully good sense prevailed.
I wish the fanatics could understand this who think govt. job is something that will entirely change their life. But it won't. If you're upper class or middle class don't even think of going for govt. jobs. They have lost their charm and only good thing about them is job security.
I am working in IT product based organisation with 13 years of experience and earning is good as compared to govt job. Every job has its own charm. Govt job above 4200 pay scale are good and far better than any private job if you don't have interest in software or any other field that you have studied. Also I have 100 of colleuges that are working in govt job and those are middle class or upper middle class, ALL ARE SATISFIED WITH GOVT JOB. Some of them left there high paying job. With due respect Sir... I am an engineer and currently working in a public sector bank at middle management level and can relate to each word of yours. However, before joining bank I was working in one of the biggest, oldest and reputed Indian conglomerates as an engineer. Scenario was not great even there. I can say it for sure that at least in India, licking a** of your boss is the only success mantra if you are in a job be it private sector or public sector. Secondly, very few youth in India would be fortuate enough to inherit a decent 3-5 crores in current market rate, so that he can start a decent business without having to slog like a dog. So to build that capital these jobs are necessary, if not 3 crores then at least start by saving 1 crore and fill the gap over next few years with a humble beginning and by working hard in your venture. And last but not the least, luck also has to be in your favor to be a successful in business or investment. To summarize, economic success or success in this materialistic world depends on your past karma. One should not worry much about such things. Rather one should try to be inquisitive spiritually and find inner fulfilment by knowing importance and purpose of human life.
Very well said.. Job don't fulfill the aspirations while we don't have any other choice too.. After earning that starting 1 crore we become so passive in our lives that we don't want to do other thing..

People just do clerical jobs and culture isn't great in Govt. I'm not saying private sector is best but I'm loving what I'm doing right now. And it has immense growth in India as well as abroad. I'm a lecturer in Odisha govt colleges and one of my friend is in a famous coaching centre... Also as a lecturer.... I'll agree with you that he'll make more salary than me in the coming future.... But no social life has left for him.... He's working 8am -8 pm and 6 days a week.... In the last 1.5 years after he joined the job he has managed to go to his parents' only once.... His manager posted a circular that no leave application will be granted on 14th August..... The private sector jobs are good only in IT industry because they get high packages along with 5 days working per week.... They can lead a good personal life.... But what about the manufacturing sector jobs that will be created in coming future.... They definitely won't pay high salary and also personal life will be very minimal.... Labour laws in India should be strict at first.... The satisfaction depends on in which department you are working in govt.... For some govt jobs transfer and posting is a big issue.... But the overall attractiveness of govt jobs is in a declined phase.....

Well said Sir..👏👏👏 & the worst of the lot is PSBs. I am an employee of a nationalised bank for 5+ years now. Stuck in other state since joining and there's no way out. The everyday pressure is way too much.
Sir, thats very true, but the situation is also very bad in pvt sector. Unlike developed countries like US, UK, Canada etc... Indian private sector, barring few professional n reputed MNCs, never pay for extra hours and even base pay is hopeless. Apart from that, work environment is toxic, bosses love chatukarita, professionalism is not there, salary is just laughable. Private corporate sector is growing in India by exploiting helpless middle class. A graduate doing 40k worth of work per month is not paid more than 12-17k. In many cases employee has to be virtually available on phone even after reaching home. In worst case scenario employees are called even on Sundays. No personal life is there, its worse than a jail. At times, even some good companies exploit the situation. The situation can only change if there is strict implementation of labour laws in pvt sector and violators are punished, else bright Indian youth will keep going abroad which will eventually result in either extreme slowdown or collapse of Indian economy.
I have spent 8 years of my life in private sector. It was nomadic and restless. Now I am enjoying my life for 5 years in government sector. I am fully satisfied and have enough time for family members
Its true for private sector as well. How many people do u think are happy in private or making an impact. I believe if you can pass any nice exam it will become your first step towards other things for a middle class family.
After getting 9 year experience of govt job.. I agreed 100 % with you 😮 Aapne jitna bataya usse bhi zyada abhi bura haal Ho chuka hai... But govt servants jhuthi shaan k chakkar mein society mein sach accept hi nhi karte

True to great extent.. Govt job isn’t the king anymore.. it’s the startup’s and the traditional top product MNC engineering/ consulting jobs who get the best out there.. but govt jobs are still better than the service based companies to a great extent. Kyunki AI will crush the private mass market.. pay at govt will remain low and steady but there is mental peace arising out of job security and you can keep your self respect intact in work. Pensions(OPS) is greatly comforting as well. Sure things are not rosy here but it’s not very good outside as well for job seekers
❤😂Sir your words may be true...but in private sector more than 90% employees work in less than 30 thousand salary per month with no social security for that reason many group A officer's children also bound to join in group C govt job... if government implement proper law for private sector regarding different pay scale for different types of job like govt. Job with minimum pay...then indian youths may stop their chasing behind govt job otherwise it never end....
