How Guts Vs The Sea God Proves That Guts Can Kill The God Hand!

I’ve always felt the moment Rickert slapped Griffith that was clue to how he’ll be defeated. As an agent of the Idea of Evil he like all Godhand’s use narrative structure to bend reality, it’s being able to change the story to say that Ganniska’s arrows won’t hit me. Acts of hatred and anger only fuel the idea of evil, Rickert despite everything didn’t hate Griffith, he then talks about how Griffith is trying to recreate the Band of the Hawk. But it’s not the same Symbol, most of its members are demons who naturally listen because of his status. All of his supposed paradise is a lie. It’s a poor imitation trying to be something it’s not. He betrayed and killed the original band, hell Rickert literally forged swords as grave markers for each member. It’s changing a narrative by injecting truth into it. It’s easy to hate, and feel anger, by not being there when the eclipse happened he offers a different perspective of its consequences. Guts has to come to terms with his hatred cause the only things he hates more than Griffith is himself. If Guts comes to terms with his hatred then can he deny what the core of Griffith is. The idea of evil is strong but it’s built upon the false idea that all people are at its core demons in the shape of mortality. Forcing and changing things have a cost they just haven’t seen it yet.

Remember that Guts and Casca, as anomalies - they were branded as sacrifices but survived thanks to the Skull Gigachadknight - exist as living Interstices, which means that they can do impossible stuff on willpower alone. That's the only way Guts is still alive and so strong and fast. That's also how he ALMOST managed to pierce Femto's forcefield during the Eclipse. Who knows, maybe he'll manage to do what Ganishka did - become an extremely powerful independent Apostle or even a God Hand-like being and defeat Femto and the other 4 God Hands. Remember that the 4 Kings of the World exist - beings similar in power to the God-Hand, but simpathetic to mankind: maybe they're the key to empower Guts.

The Dragonslayer has been bathed in the blood of men, tons of monsters, and now a deific entity. I think Guts’s unactivated Behelit may need to be infused into the Dragonslayer somehow, perhaps in a similar fashion to Skull Knight coating his sword in the partially digested Behelits he consumed over his long afterlife. Who knows the outcome of the story now? Plus we are dealing with entities that can also see the future and in Griffith’s case manipulate space.

I think that the flashback guts had with skull knight where they show guts the memory of the beserker armor with a DIFFERENT god hand members w/ the exception of void being the only remaining member from the past to the current member that the last fight skull night had (obviously he wasn’t skull night yet but was still the king) his last fight against the god hand in the beserker armor allowed him the strength to kill those 4 members of the god hand who we don’t recognize in the current god hand before the beserker armor kills him……

At the level guts is now it's impossible when he fought ganishka we can see that ganishka was strong and became even stronger even if he lost his sanity but femto killed him easily when guts and zodd together struggled

When you think about it, according to the overarching plot point of Griffith making Berserk his own story: then its likely the power possessed by the god hand, or at least their presence and influence over Midland requires a connection. Something to tether them to this world. Guts just has to sever that tie somehow.

Part of me and wants to troll and say why guts will never kill Griffith, but mainly want to believe Guts can get a big power up or a big realization and can whoop on his former best friend.

Victims make victims. This story needs to take the route of divinity, not malice and malevolent action. Otherwise Guts just becomes another Skull knight trapped in perpetual suffering. Where is the hero’s ascension to the good, true and beautiful?

I disagree. The Sea God is as strong as the God Hand's members, if not more. However, there is no indication the Sea God as any foreseeing power.

My theory is that the only way Guts would be able of defeating the Godhand is if his power conceptually transcends to a powerful archetypal idea-like how “God” is the idea of evil. Maybe Guts would become the idea of hope somehow? Another theory I have is that since Guts and the gang are working for the Kushans, Daiba would teach Guts about magic from the Hindu gods. Maybe Daiba would pray to Durga, goddess of war, to assist Guts and grant him some god like powers. After all, Daiba HAS once referred to Guts as the “Prana of Durga”

Guts may have the power to kill the Godhand by the end of the series, but it won't end with him killing Griffith. That's just not the theme of the story and there's more going on narratively to end things differently.

Without watching, Guttsu has to surrender to the Berserk Armor, give into the beat of darkness and surrender his humanity. Casca is probably gonna die for this to happen as he's following the path of the Skull Knight.

I think Skull Knight and Guts are about to have a training montage. I just feel like Skull Knight knows so much more still, idk if there is something cosmic keeping him from saying it, or just something personal, but i think hes about to forgo whatever it was and drop some more heavy lore on us as he helps Guts truly master the armor.

The way I see Berserk ending is Guts being beaten within an inch of his life, he accepts defeat, renounces the Berserker armor and Griffith runs his sword through his heart. Lying there taking his last breaths he encounters God, they have a discussion about his pain and suffering, how God has longed for a Champion as resilient as he is. God bestows Guts with the Golden armor of righteousness, reborn he then picks off each member of the God hand until he finally faces off with Griffith. They both let their blades do the talking with Guts becoming the victor, the armor fades away whilst the building collapses around him and he simply accepts death as his savior. Cascau is left with their son and they both walk into the new era together with Guts watching over them.
