I love E. I feel like I know him from how real he keeps it. I agree that loving the process from start to finish is key. Owning a clothing brand is hard and I learned that sometimes it’s ok to restart or find what you are actually good at. I’m willing to get my hands dirty and do the work and let others who are better than me at designing or putting stuff together do that so I can focus on something else. It’s a mindset for sure and I love. The process, consistency and showing up is key. 🔥
I’ve learned in this video to take your time with your purpose don’t rush it make sense out of it and know your why. Like why are you creating this and who are you creating it for. Is it just for you or is it to make a difference in other lives that struggle of knowing what’s their purpose. Instead of repeating something that’s not growing you. Repeat a healthy cycle that’s going to prosper your life! Fall in love with the process. Take care of yourself before you can take care of others ❤ I loved his story!
Got to have an appreciation for people and what you’re building. The journey is the success. What you go through to get to it will mean the most in the end. Stay dedicated!
Just because of this vido I started my brand something was holding me back but hearing this story motivated me failure start in your head. That you have to wait be patient when it comes to your brand and put the work in everyday and let your story sell your brand thanks for the video gone start and not gone stop ..
It’s all about believing the process and staying focus for the end goal. Building knowledge and connecting with like minded people can put you in the right position. Got to have discipline and consistency every day to achieve your goals! Have to remember it won’t happen fast!Great video a lot of gems 💯
Been saying this and tweeting it.... "Remember to always put time and faith in everything you do" Ps look at that room full of bright intelligent minds, determine to be successful. Salute to all our fellow designers keep walking in your purpose.
I love this content because I can honestly relate to this as a basketball player and I know it’ll help me in my business just focusing on the process the way I work on my game everyday I love the process so why not do the same with the brand just focusing on the process

🔥🔥 good gems what really stood out to me is not worrying about succeeding to what you think the amount of success of for yourself is because you might be laying the foundation for someone else to succeed
Me either. I think it's because he was comfortable with the guest and the guest just being himself.😂 so he matched his energy (positive energy) at that both of them
NOPE... consider this Not until you start turning a big profit. They want to see first that name your using is turning a profit and your not sitting on a name just to sit on it. I looked into it as well. The Trademark process itself takes up to 6 months OR more to complete. USPTO United States Patent and Tradmark. They then have to con the data base that no one had the nave and if so it doesn't create confusion. You'll also need an attorney because it's going to cost. Business attorney. Who specializes in clothing brands. If you feel you want to get one. But until you're really up and running you don't need to at least the first year or 2 to get a feel if you're selling or may need to change designs (you never know). Get the Tax ID first (free) then (LLC up to $250 when youre rolling pretty good) and that can be done within a week. You won't need the trademark unless you think someone is about to run off with your design. Or using it. Example: someone in China takes your design and sell knockoffs like they do with any brand. Do you really have the money to hire attorneys to file and do a Cease and Decist letter which ties up in court for over a year going against a company with more money than you.?.thats if you even catch them?..not to mention that's just one country..in one location. It could be everywhere. Unless you got it like that to be tied up in court every time you see it. Then by all means. But to be honest that's why the knock off companies don't get sued as much. Because people can make it off the radar and you would never know like someone making it in their house. You wouldn't know. It's not as protected for clothing as we would hope. Its hard to enforce. It just sounds good on tv because that's like if walmart went at Target for something. Then yea they can do that. They got the MONEY and the ATTORNEYS and the TIME. We as brand owners dont.
The same way you manufacturer designed products, just get them blank. Like he said in the video, volume is one of the keys to a successful blank clothing business.
