Ive run a mobile detailing biz in the Detroit area for 15 yrs with my son. We love it and still are improving our operation and quality of service. Manny is doing a great job. We limit our work day to a maximum of 8 hrs. Most days we work 5-6 hrs and we never average less than a $100/ hr. Ceramic coatings have really raised our income!

This video is awesome. I've only seen a few of your videos but I really like your content. A bit of clowning around and RU-vid clickbait stuff, but the substance is great. I see a lot of garbage on RU-vid/social media with people talking about their billion dollar ideas and how they became millionaires in a couple of years with their 5-step program. This, on the other hand, is an honest look into what it actually takes to build something for yourself. Really good advice from this man, also. He seems to have a great attitude and his head on straight. Would be cool to see a follow-up in a few months time/years time, with metrics on growth and what his plans are for the future/maybe a look into what kinds of tools he uses to stay on top of budgeting/finance/customer relations etc. etc.

Yo Reyes love you bro! Great humble guy, always polite and positive a true class act gentlemen with a sense of humor, exemplary man. Bro I just wanted to ask if you have any plans of ever tackling the car rental business for us to get the behind the scenes of how it works (TURO) and (getaround) typically the car has to be around 2009 and newer and under 125k miles, most hosts that I’ve rented from use rebuilt road legal/safe salvage cars as cheap as you can find with the least mileage and best model year/brand possible, however there’s also many hosts who do list new cars or leased cars but can be a bit riskier even though if any issue happens insurance will pay you out for damages or theft, if you do give it a try you need to place a GPS tracker before listing it so you avoid headaches and scams

Lol México yes that’s true rain kicks us in butt but there a secret get fleet accounts and sat and sundays this a whole other level detailing and big building accounts I bring doing these over 20 years since 16 and even if it rains we still wash in rain at times great videos

If you want to get ahead in life you need to do more than the usual 9-5 routine. You need to sacrifice some of your personal time to get ahead. 1 business I owned I worked Xmas Day, Boxing Day & as work was quiet in January I was asked to work in this post Xmas lull. You either sink or swim in business but when people insist on a price war you either walk away or sell your prices. I did personal taxes for 6 months as I was in hospital for 3 months. I raised my prices & lost 50% of clients but a few unhappy clients returned the next year.

I had fun doing my mobile detailing. I was always scared to do darker colored cars because if you scratch one, it sticks out like a sore thumb! I treated each car like it was my own and the owners loved my work. I even had one repeat customer that wanted me to detail his riding lawn mower. lol After I quit doing the business, I kept getting calls 5 years later to come back. I even did bounce houses like ur other video, but its only a weekend thing where i live at.

It is scary....but well worth it. Here is the analogy I used to share with my young adult sons. Our work life is like an open interstate highway. Everyone is walking along the side of the highway, and for you to get ahead you have to exert a LOT of energy running just to stay ahead of everyone else. With that you may find yourself a supervisor...a manager...etc. Every now and then you see a car go whizzing by. So you make a comment to the others around you walking that you are considering getting one of those cars (car represents your own business). Everyones response is that they are expensive, you have to have insurance, you have to stop occasionally for fuel, and you even have to maintain the vehicle with service etc. This can be very discouraging. But here is the deal. While everyone else is trudging along in the rain, sun, and wind....you can cruise by at 80mph in the air conditioning. And while it is true that you have to take on the financial responsibility, the inconvenience of “breakdowns” (when business seems to come to a halt sometimes), and the work and time it takes to get insurance and the like.....well, its also true that when the car gets fixed (business begins to pick up again) there is absolutely NO WAY that anyone on the side of the highway, even when fully exerting themselves, can possibly keep up with that car. After many years of fearing failure, I resigned from my “career” position as a facilities director...office, secretary, conference room, and 6 departments that reporter to me. I started my own business (purchased that car) and got busy with it. Today, 6 years later, I work 3-4 days per week and make twice what I did in my other position. There are many many many days that I make over $100 hour. Yes, there can be difficult days....frustrating days....but overall it is well worth it. I will NEVER choose to walk on the highway again. The guy in your interview spoke about some of the weight of responsibility, but he is also being well compensated for taking on that liability and risk.
