I learned that in therapy, the less frequent the "reward", the more reinforcing it is on behavior (like a child throwing tantrums, knowing they work sometimes like if mom or dad is having a bad day and not consistent in not giving in, the child learns that tantrums sometimes work, therefore they are worth the effort of throwing them plenty and often and loudly in case it works and you get what you want! lol) and it did remind me of Hermes, bc you can stalk the website all morning every day, or try a new store but the odds are they aren't going to let you buy anything, but you try anyway bc when you occasionally can secure your purchase, you feel like you've WON.
Hermes shoes are amazing!! I have the Orans, Oasis, and Wedge heels in black and gold colors. They are so comfy, and the quality is outstanding. I only have the Picotin, which I absolutely adore. I never had to be on a quota system for the bag because I purchased it on their website.
I'm so happy that's been your experience. My shoes have NOT held up at all. I do like the bags though. I have a Picotin as well and is a nice little bag. Buying online for me feels fine but the whole quota system is crazy to me

Hermès isn't denying your right to drink water, this ain't some necessity, and your constitutional rights! This pinnacle of luxury used to be reserved for the Royalties and Gentries, somehow you foolishly think that you should also be entitled to! This only shows the Karen in you and a poor (no money) one at that! It's Okay to not have money and able to afford Hermès, but being a sour grape is a poor attitude on anyone, so is this look!

I love my bags 💖 but think the game is predatory. Also the other stuff kinda didn't really hold up so I stopped buying last year. I took some time to examine my feelings, and this is where I landed. I'll buy Hermes preloved if I really love something but I wouldn't be doing anymore boutique shopping. Also still happy for people who love it. 💖
