yeah I assume not having parents (or good parents) really made them all who they were. They looked up to Dutch to be that parental figure and with Hosea, he too had to BE that figure.
Have you notice that most the gang members laugh first with dutch before joined the gang?😂 And even before the laughing and joining, most the members had connection to stealing a chicken😂. Like this gang had special thing with parents issue, laughing and chicken😅
I get what you mean, yeah. Hosea had a more nurturing, cautious or otherwise 'soft' side to him. A swindler and killer to boot, but still empathetic towards those he loved. And although having had a warm personality, Dutch is more tough-loving, ambitious, and reckless, character traits one would normally assign to men.
In Africa lynching a criminal would be a curtesy to the criminal should the mob get their hands on them regardless of the crime they just mob justice you tire necklace and all

@@lactosetolerance45 It is really easy to accidentally steal something and be murdered by the guards for it, but they will almost never attack you for simply being somewhere. An example of where they would is in Markarth, but that's part of a quest. Otherwise they tend to leave well enough alone. This is Skyrim though, so I wouldn't put it above them to glitch out and attack for literally no reason
Man we really need a red dead prequel to 2, I want to see the gangs prime, maybe even play as Dutch and have the beginning missions be recruiting the early gang members. Dutch use to be truly the goat, and even though its hinted that Dutch is losing his grip by the first mission in red dead 2, you can tell Dutch truly was a dope guy, it would be cool to see his prime, alongside Arthur and Hosea's
Yeah it would be cool to see, but playing as Dutch himself won't really make much sense. The main theme of these games is about "redemption". Dutch never really had that in both games. So I don't know. But if you ask me, playing as Sadie Adler would be really cool.
If we get a new game it might be centered around uncle. Or maybe someone else unrelated. If they do anything else rdr wise it'll be a longggggg time before the public sees it
Dutch wouldn’t work for an RDR main character, neither would Hosea. The theme of RDR games is the main character tragically dies while redeeming himself. John dies to save his family, Arthur dies helping John escape. Dutch and Hosea’s deaths are already seen in the previous RDR games, and neither had any redemption.
It’ll be amazing to get a game based on this, but I also agree that it can’t be based on Dutch and Hosea specifically. Maybe introducing a new character but still getting glimpses of involvement from the gang. Maybe an expansion on the Callander Boys as we know only about their deaths. Oh! Maybe more about the Blood Feud with the O’Driscolls, that’ll be an interesting thing to see develop. But yeah, without a doubt, new character, new redemption arch.

Not really. Life expectancy used to be very low because of extremely high child mortality due to diseases like measles, polio, whooping cough etc... But if you lived past your childhood, you could be expected to live to 60-70 without that much trouble.
Hosea should’ve been the leader we deserved love Dutch but hosea kept everyone together he was the glue of the gang he deserved a happy ending so did Lenny🥺
Love how a small group of misfits can take out entire camps comprising of dozens of rivals with ease, and that, with the help of a cannon, can take down an entire US ship (I know it says Cuban, but the time of the game fits around the time when the US essentially had total control of Cuba, or at least its military) and can also hold their own against THE US ARMY
Think about it, a lot of these forces were just getting organized back then. Pinkertons were stated to only just be getting their funding back then. Compared to the actually organized gang, the only real power they had was printing more and more money (which would be the beginning of f*cking the rest of us over today) Eventually, they would improve and overtake the gangs. At least, to the public eye.
I honestly wish the game took started in like 1880-1885. Arthur would’ve been 17-22 years old and Hosea would be around Dutch’s age I believe. Seeing the 3 founding members all at their deadliest would’ve been AMAZING!
Have you noticed red dead 1 John died and you could play as jack and in red dead 2 you play as Arthur then John I think they kinda have a concept for red dead 3
@@adriel23. I think there will definitely be another Red Dead game, but it won't be another Red Dead Redemption. They can't really do much more with Jack. He got his revenge, he killed Ross, that's kinda it for him. The only other thing I could think they could do is have Jack form his own gang, but I doubt Jack would go down that road after growing up in that environment and witnessing the effect it had on John and Abigail.
When I was playing Rdr2 again from the beginning, a strange thing happened In chapter 3, after a mission, I returned to the camp and saw Hosea, Charles, Uncle and John sitting around the camp fire and Hosea was talking. He was talking about his past and he was saying that he wanted to be a priest but for some reason he couldn't. I don't remember the exact dialogue.
Does anyone know more about the sickness that Hosea had? There's dialogue that happens at horseshoe overlook were Hosea tells Dutch that "he's dying,' and just wants to"see people safe before he goes." But it's never actually expanded on.
I want rdr3 to be about Dutch and Hosea. How they met and what they did. I want to see Arthur and John as teens when they got picked up. That or Uncle as Red Harlow
Somewhere in a land of dragons, a legendary hero who saved the world has a bounty of killing a man for accidentally killing a chicken in a battle against a dragon that would've ruin an entire hold if it wasn't for that hero.
Now we need a prequel where you play as Dutch and at the end you end up as Arthur. Mostly kidding but it would be cool to experience the gang in the early days and at their height
