Girl Boss movies are in no short of scrutiny in todays pop cultural climate. However, the movie Madame Web almost got something right... today, I'm discussing what that was and how Hollywood could possibly learn from this.
Yes to all of this! I personally wasn’t a fan of Captain Marvel or the new Mulan or any of those female characters. It’s so annoying when they never learn anything or go through any development. I LOVE Buffy the Vampire Slayer - one of my all time favorite shows!!! Keep up the good work & keep shouting out the good stuff like Buffy 🤩
They DEFINITELY need to stop portraying women as men. Star Wars for example, every one LOVES Ashoka from the Clone Wars bc she was written perfectly! But then Rey……🤦♂️
Not sure they actually managed to do a proper female lead character that tops Buffy after BTVS ended. The bride and perhaps Hermione Granger comes close but in my rankings Buffy still reigns supreme.
I think women want to see themselves in men's media and Men just want to see pretty women that could be their GFs. is that too much to ask? despite how dressed down (heh, innuendo) some actresses are in these rolls they're gorgeous and both sexes want to see that. I don't understand why it took three DC movies to get Harley quin in a Dress, Margot Robbie is beautiful despite how birds of prey depict her as a roller derby Pivot
