So good to see you again! My partner and I both struggle with this. He and I are both artists and we constantly compare ourselves to others and also to what we have created in the past. Not feeling like we are ever good enough or that we can't live up to whatever success we've had before. It helps to know we are not alone. Thank you.

Hi Samantha, so glad you're posting again I've missed you. In the to right hand corner of my RU-vid screen is Campbell, of Struthless and a video titled, Advice for Perfectionists & Procrastinators: The 70% Rule. I love his videos and have found them useful as a recovering perfectionist and procrastinator. I believe it was the artist Dina Wakley who said, "done is better than perfect". This is a mantra for me when the perfectionist/inner critic looms into view.

How about allowing yourself fully to only make videos when you really want to? And live creatively without planning. you really like making videos, you just need to let go of as much pressure as possible. Trust yourself 💜

Thank you for this encouragement beautiful soul. Balance is definitely the theme and key with all things for me.🌞✨💛 I feel like we all have different needs when it comes to allowing our creativity to roam wild. For me planning and knowing what I am doing is so calming and allows me to flow, if not i am extremely chaotic and unproductive hahaha. I totally agree with you about letting go of pressure, thats pretty much where my issues come into play, its the perfectionism that has high standards. I didnt really go into it in this video, but my perfectionism is heavily tied into my mental health from emotional trauma i went through at a work place. Its been something ive been working on for a while and still is one of the biggest struggles i face when it comes to releasing work into the world. It’s so wild because this is a theme I actually just recorded about in our latest patreon video 🤣💛 we are so insync! Thank you so much for watching and reaching out!! I appreciate you so much✨💛☀️🌞
