As an INTJ, what I think about each type : _INTJ_ Once they find a conclusion/goal, they hardly move of it, tunnel vision. Depending on the INTJ, they can ignore, forget the sensory phone messages/call. open-minded, deep, care, skeptic of other people intentions, they don't open up easily, can jump to conclusion too fast, skeptical of love and friend because we want long term, distant but warm, care, don't have time except for people who they really appreciate, hate small take because it's waste of time and energy and learn nothing, in an other dimension, avoid conflicts and emotions, notice what's wrong, the details which are not supposed to be here, philosophical, their time and energy are precious ressources, paradox, skeptic, doubt, observant, sensitive, lost, great advices, problem solver, should appreciate more the present, can miss good opportunities and people when too much future oriented, can judge too fast, should give time to people. _INFJ _ think people are fake, lie and not kind, skeptic of people intentions, can like spirituality, meditation, can live Se inferior catastrophes, worker, wise, kind _ISFJ _ afraid of conflict, wise, like their children, oriented family _ISTJ _ too structured for me, the perfect type who fit in society and follow rules, can give good advice motivation _ ISTP _ Direct to solve problem when wrong, maybe too much that certain coworker can not appreciate him, kind _ ISFP _ Always well dressed, deep, calm, be correct with them, somewhere similar to INTJ because same family, same values _ INFP _ fascinated when they see something beautiful, they can be scary, give too much to other, too big heart, too kind, should think to themselves more, I attract them by doing nothing, adorable, devoted _ INTP _ They move only when they want, don't push them, efficient, kind _ ENTP_ can be weird when they talk or act, friendly _ ENFP_ Funny, ambivert, can tired me du to their too much energy, magnet, they strike with their eyes when they find someone original authentic, _ ESFP _ Always well dress like ISFP, like to be the center of the world, to show them, authentic, jump to wrong conclusion, how they says is more important of what they say, I don't know where they find their energy _ ESTP _ Car accident too often, act too fast, spontaneous, bad with routine, manipulative, know what they want, ruin INTJ plans, jump to wrong conclusion, think they are intuitive, always lost purse and keys, rwithin eason, like conflit, give advices we don't ask _ ESTJ _ Surprising, can be calm and soft, and quickly appear agressiv, critic, coleric, good imagination and idea when want to change things, likes my drawings weird art _ ESFJ _ They don't understand me, hard to talk with, kind happy when talk about food, can come to me if don't know how to do a thing, like argue, devoted, should think to them more _ ENFJ _ One of my most favorite type, know what is the correct behavior to have between people what is kind or not, kind, care, helpful _ ENTJ _ Act to fast, should think more before and to the future consequences, don't really accept people as they are, open minded, can talk about everything without taboo, not patient, like spend money, bad with chores
INTJ here. Your perception is spot on to how people tend to see me. I never intend to come across cold, but if I think something needs to be said then I'll say it directly. I was highly sensitive as a kid, so people's negative perceptions of my personality kind of trained me to be like an unhealthy INFJ... Still very Ni dominant, but I use it to put others before myself. Now I'm not sure what type I am. It feels like the T and F are constantly fighting. When my natural INTJ assertiveness comes out, I find myself feeling ashamed and over conscious of what others think of me. It feels like I'm a judgmental INTJ or a self-sacrificing INFJ. I suppose I'm just curious what your thoughts are on this.
I'm an INFJ. I've always been close to T in terms of percentage. I usually get 52% to 55% F 😹 You might be close to balancing the two :) In love how INTJs just say it the way it is and don't always worry how people are going to feel.
I am impressed by your knowledge of the complete MBTI spectrum. I still struggle to grasp all of the different types (never mind the nuances of their cognitive functions) and I doubt I could come up with as many ready to hand examples.

As a strong ESFP I agree with the lack of extended focus but we shine in groups! I have been married to an infj for 36 years. It has been interesting. She ponders and remembers everything as opposed to me ,very little. A wonderful arrangement! It does frustrate her that I can literally turn around and forget negative things. I score as 100% extrovert in MBTI testing. I talk to people anywhere about anything anytime!
Bro you gave me a syncronicity there! I realsed that at parties I always lock eyes with INTJs, who turned out to be INTJs once I harrased them to take the test. I heavily suspect I am an INFJ, but im binging your videos on the quest of self discovery :)
I know you love philosophy. I have a question. I wounder if we can explain Inductive vs Deductive reasoning in relation to types, cognetive fuctions and blind spots 7th and 8th functions in functional stacks. Can we balance using both inductive and deductive reasoning within ourselves? I am grateful for your effort. Your videos are amazing.
I agree about the ENTP's...They can have a somewhat dominant personality, but at the same time they often do not really know what they want. Although they can act as a leader, due to their visability and confidence in groups, I do not think they really want to lead at all when it comes down to it. I think the problem can be that people can take them too 'seriously'. They sort of need opposition from someone at least...just like other Se/Ne soms they are more rebels than leaders. Their introverted perceiving function is just too low for a leading role.
introverted perceiving functions try to to minmalize the amount of possibilities and create a certain order. A sense of order and direction are required for a direction. extroverted perceiving functions are about breaking up order by expansion, multiplying the amount of possibilties and thus prevents movement in any clear direction, because there simply is no distinct 'best' direction.
interesting! I recognize what you say about Entp, even know they say this about them selves. but I find they can lead in an nonconforming way and they will let you know, take it or leave it. very different from Estj or Entj. I am also Interested in the introverted leading function.
It's really nothing fancy. The extroverted perceiving functions are expanding functions. For example, Ne makes 10 ideas out of 1 idea. However, they have a hard time really choosing one or even just sticking to one. If they choose one, it's often just a 'in the moment" sort of thing, and not a choice of 'best/worst'. Mobilizing a lot of people usually is easier if at least it's clear what direction is going to be taken and the person in question is not going to change their mind 10 minutes later,as extroverted perceiving types may do (like Ne and Se dom/aux) introverted perceiving functions (Ni/Si) are aimed at decreasing the amount of choices towarsd 1 choice that they perceive as the best option. They tend to stick to that direction, which is practical if one would want to mobilize groups of people. Secondly, types with a high introverted perceiving function, have a high first or second) extroverted juging function. This seems also more practical when dealing with people rather than a Ti or Fi function which are functions which one uses to internally order information (based on logic or own value), but not order things in the external world in an active manner (which higher Fe and Te do better)

I have had closer male relationships with STPs but not so much STJs. I can be good friends with STPs until the point of talking about emotions. Then ISTPs seem to lack in Fe. They are good friends to have if you want to go do something physical or discuss physical activities. Or hang out and laugh as they are usually chill. They can be smart. I have difficulty clicking with STJs. I can appreciate their reliability and efficiency etc. But doesn't seem to work well for me in a close personal relationship. We just don't build intimacy. I click with Feelers except the unhealthy, gossipy, manipulative, back stabbing type of ESFJ and many ESFPs who get deep in the party scene and are a lot of drama. Best friend of 30+yrs is ENFJ e8. I don't think she gets into people pleasing as much as another Fe enneagram type could. What enneagram type do you think your ENFJ dad is? I usually get along better with IFs or ENTPs. ESTPs can be hit or miss for me. Dated a lot of them. I tend to get charmed in by 3rd slot Fe in ETPs e7. I'm aware of it tho. But ENTP's intuition builds this intimacy with my intuition as feeling understood. Two bookworms getting to geek out together. :) My ENTP friend also has a degree in English Lit and is pretty well read. My only complaint is his unreliability at times when his Ne is busy chasing squirrels. EPs who are late irks me. I'm nearly half German and we have a thing about punctuality & efficiency. My German ancestors are from Southern Germany and mostly Baden-Wurrtemburg. But EPs can be fun. Can't think of any ENFPs that I know in real life tho.
I've had similar experience with STPs. I dated one ESTP. They can be quite charming! I really enjoyed the physicality and the sex was amazing, but he was not the person to build a long-term commitment with. I think my dad might be an ISTP. He is more inclined to deal with emotions my intellectualizing and encouraging others to get out of the house and do physical activities like biking and hiking. He also comes from a German family though, so there might be some cultural influences on emotional expression. I've also found STPs can be quite helpful when it comes to fixing things, improvising solutions to mechanical problems, and teaching Se skills.
