This game needs to find a way on how to make people team up, and punish killing. (For example, those zombies and Robots try to hunt you down, or a sound of gun-fire REALLY attracts them. ) Something like that.
I did not meant it like "YOu get instantly killed if you hurt another player". More like... if you shoot somebody few nasty things might hear it and come to investigate.
So days of being alone, peeing and pooing, searching through a bajillion empty boxes, and THIS is what I have to look forward to once I actually find other players? NEXT GAME!?
There will be less of this battle royal style game play as the game progresses. The devs have said themselves that right now it's not really the game they envision, but as they get closer to official release it will be more focused on survival. That means killing every player on sight, giving away your position and using precious calories will be more of a calculated risk than it is right now. I suspect most of the KOS players will go back to Fortnight, CS:GO, COD, PUBG or whatever flavor of battle royal is trending that month. SCUM will be a game about staying alive against all odds. Much like a real life survival situation it will start with finding food, finding more food, finding a long term source of food and water, making shelter, ect.
You know the closer this game gets to finished the less and less of this will be going on. Most of the people playing the game now will leave because they won't be able to handle the realism of the survival mechanic. This isn't Fortnight; you will learn to live together or you will all die alone.
ive never seen teh german war helmet before. i bought this game and i like it but they wiped the servers clean and all characters were erased and now for some reason i cant play multi-player on it. im literally the only one on my server
no i seen a thing but i did start a new character but i had to refresh the page then the servers showed up again but i go to the same server and use the same guy all the time
what I liked about dayz was the interaction with other players, scum has become pubg where its just kill on site with no interaction soon the survival assepct will be lost and all it will be is another shoot em up, there's even a death match mode so why people are just being dicks is beyond me.... im hoping to find a good EU server that has good admins with friendly server rules where there are safe zones and KOS zones, nothing worse then being killed by a fully kitted out player when you have literally just spawned in and clearly have nothing to defend yourself with, it really takes the fun out of the game, kind of hoping dayz pull their finger out now and sort out all the bugs......PvP in scum is just not good at the moment when players are teleporting all over the place
Thats how the community goes to shit, 1 person kills a friendly, that guy then kills noobs, the noob you killed now trusts no one, every server is now kill on sight
They should really fix this lag when fighting players. I want to kill players but not if lag is going to make it all about who shoots first and sprays more or who gets luckier.
You all whining on his gameplay, try to make "friends" as a lone wolf in this world with every lying noob you met. Everyone so friendly until you turn your back on them.
Piotrek W. thats how survival games work , if you can gear up and move away from zone then you camp . I hate it too but everyone does it . So you are left with no choice but to do it as well
