Hey family, welcome back to a highly requested video talking a bit more in depth about how I became a single mom and a mental health story time. I dive in to my childhood and explore what it had to do with setting up some foundational elements for who I became and what I was looking for in the world when I ended up getting in a serious relationship at a young age. This relationship made me feel seen, loved, and secure which at 16 is a lot of pressure on a young relationship. Through the pain of becoming a single mom so young I finally discovered the answer to what I was looking for all those years of my life.
I hope this video shows you a perspective you may have never considered before and hopefully blesses you with some things you can walk away from the channel with.
If you are wondering what love really is, or if people in your life/ you are being loving, here is the definition I always go by:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Allie, I'm really struggling to find words to express my thoughts and feelings after this video. Hearing you explain how you felt when you gave yourself up to GOD has touched something very deep in me. I'm still trying to process this but I think it's the start of a before and an after for me. Same. I am also a atheist but I respect everyone's religion and what they believe in,as long as they don't try to force it upon others. My family is Cristian and I respect them as long as they accept me. So far they have all accepted me of being a transgender male and Omnisexual. They always tell me that as long as I am happy and that I can accept myself and be myself,they are always going to be there and support me. I am very greatful for the love and support that my family has given me, because sadly not everyone gets that love and support. Just remember everyone that you are loved and that there is always that one person who will care and be there for you whenever you feel alone,in the dark and empty. Just remember to please hold onto that hope because there is a plan for you. And even though everything may seem like it's falling apart and everyone is against you,there is always a light at the end of the tunnel waiting for you. Remember to keep your head up and that you are not alone no matter what situation you are in. Because a lot of people could have gone through what you have gone through or going through and you might not even know it. ❤️

What an amazing person you are girl! At some point of my life I was lost too, and I was alone, and I remember asking a friend for help because I didn't know how to pray at that point, because I was in so much pain... and she helped me and now I can feel my heavenly father with me, I finally have peace and health, and I'm happy, finally, after years of looking for happiness! Ok WOW girl i have an eerily similar story. Fell pregnant as a late teen. Picked up a bible the first time in years.. Felt God's presence. I gave my life to the Lord and surrendered everything.. And my baby's life to the Lord. I never wanted to raise my baby in the way I was previously living. I gave everything to God. Like you said , changed the trajectory of my whole life!!!! Aww Allie. You and the Van Clan were the first people I subscribed to, and I have wondered about you. I am so sorry you were in a hard place. I was 12 /13 ish when you posted some videos about feeling alone (you were 20), and so I didn't understand those sad helpless feelings until now. Wow , I swear this video came to me at the right time . I feel your story was just like mine , wow , mind blowing . I started to notice since last yea when so many bad things happened and how I needed help adn I was struggling doing it on my own but I didn’t wana ask for help as felt like that’s not what we do . The one day , as a Christian my whole life but had mixed feelings like you , I just told myself I had to give up and surrender to him . The tears were flowing as been struggling for two years straight . I know see some of the things I was doing wrong then taking up other people advice to give out , use a firm voice or shout and wasn’t me inside . I refused to give up as a single mom with very little help too , but this last few weeks after surrender and enough being enough , I came across your Chanell . As someone who was raised somewhat christian and now an atheist, I have a huge amount of respect for you (and some jealously) that you have this comfort in a higher presence. How you felt His presence and knew you were never alone. Sometimes I wish I was able to feel comforted by a god and never feel alone. To feel the love you talk about but I don’t think it’s something I would ever be able to accept myself and maybe I don’t even want to. I think me feeling completely alone and without a higher presence brings a peace to me that you say you feel when your alone with your god because the idea that I control every aspect of my life sounds as comforting to me as you said letting god taking over control of your life was for you. I guess what I’m trying to say is that although we are so very different both in religious beliefs and life paths, I love how I can listen to you and connect to someone so different from me and it really just makes me feel like I have a deeper understanding of life and the beauty of everyone being so amazingly unique. Struggling with mental health has affected my life so deeply and the way you have battled your way out of a dark space brings me comfort that I, and everyone else struggling, could do the same as you. Thanks Allie for showing me that I can do it, even if our ways of overcoming hardship are different, you will always be a reminder that I can. Xxx

I became a teen mom at 18 too and let me tell you, this ain’t for the weak but you make motherhood look so beautiful, you and cartia’s relationship is definitely the definition of gods love 🤍 I’ve had a rather detached and pessimistic view/relationship with god as I’m all over the place and have been in the dark space for such a long time my soul is literally screaming for help! I clicked on this video not really knowing what to expect, but what you said about your experience with God really touched me. I remember when I was 12/13 attending an Easter church service and feeling like I was losing all faith, I didn't feel anything towards God or any scripture. I remember thinking "God, please just a sign, anything, because if I feel nothing now I don't think I can believe in you ever again." And that was when I was struck by a feeling of overwhelming love, more than I have ever felt from anyone or will feel for anyone ever, because it was God's love. It was like there was a hole in my chest, that I was hollow and never knew, and now it was filled to the brim and overflowing with God's love. Like I was lost and never knew it, and now I was home. That day solidified my faith and I have not looked back. I have questioned churches and religions, but am able to do so without feeling I will be undoing my belief because of the faith God helped me find, and it was right in front of me all along :) Wishing you and your family all the best x

Wow, amen! Beautifull testimony! I knew it like when I was 15 years old I went through a hard time and during that time I learned to surender to God and I found youre channel during that time and I was watching it for entertaintment and for positivity and somehow I just felt a connection. I love seeing u grow, I first watched ur video by “accident “ and something in u was yelling from inside, I pray and see changes I remember telling my daughter that guy doesn’t worth her, she is sooo much better I pray she doesn’t get stuck. Dear Allie, thank you for sharing your story. I had a really hard day today, I felt so empty and lonely and i could cry all day. I’m a week on vacation with my dad (my parents are divorced), but he is an alcoholic and it’s so hard for me to watch him drinking. Thank you for giving me that hope in life. At some points of your life hope seems so far away, but at the end there is hope. A lot of hope and I know. I just have to remember myself. ❤️

Thank you for this video Allie, I went through a divorce with my parents when I was just 14 in 1968. I have had cerebral palsy since birth in 1954. I gave my life to the Lord at 18 and walked with crutches till I was 52 and needed back surgery. Today as a family with 2 older brothers and our mom at 93, we all live near Phoenix AZ. Through a radio program, Joni and Friends, and my working in radio for over 20 years plus I met Joni E. Tada in person in 1985

I recently moved out of my parents house and in with my new husband but when I left my old church family hurting, confused, and trying to figure things out because the head of the church had betrayed us and hurt people in a way no man of God should. Since then my husband and I have few friends our age and we have been struggling to find a new church family. Thank you for pouring into the lives of the people who watch your videos because idk about you but I'm always eagerly waiting to hear more knowledge and wisdom you have to share as well as lessons you learned because they're so relatable to me as a younger person in her early twenties.

I have been raised without religion- I don't understand my feelings about it all yet (im 21) but im starting to figure it out. Allie, I learn SO MUCH from you. wow! what an amazing video… 😮 I grew up christian too, but we didn’t really practice the believe much. At around 13 I started to become depressed and felt like no one actually understood me. I still remember the moment I really found a connection with god. I was a young teen, I went to a church with my friend (where she and her family went since she was a child), that night the preacher preached and sang worship-songs with the church-band and… at some moment during one of the worship-songs I just started crying… bawling. I was at a place I‘ve never been before, with people I didn‘t know (except my friend), hearing a preach and songs I‘ve never heared but I (oddly) felt SO comfortable crying, because I felt safe. I felt his presence. Really strongly. That night was also one of the few nights a year when people could get baptized… and I just did it. And felt really happy afterwards. 🥰 Does anyone maybe have a similar experience?

Well,I am too young to watch this,but it came in recommendation and my finger automatically clicked it. And also , I don't really cry on emotional things, but it made me really cry. This is how a mother feels like when they have a baby!! Even though we are from different religions, but for a time you really told to us that God is with everyone , He loves everyone in the world, thank you so much for this video ☺☺☺☺♥️♥️♥️
