I cannot thank you enough for making this! There seems to be so little information available online about careers in presenting, and I've learnt more from this one 20 minute video than from years of online research and asking questions! I started out working in science then realised my real passion is in sharing science/nature information with the public, through writing and video. I had 1 presenting position secured and 1 reporter position close to being secured just before the pandemic hit, then they of course fell through. I've been feeling quite low about still being back on square one, but hearing your story of persistence and hard work paying off has given me hope

What an amazing story, this was really interesting. It would be an absolute dream to become a travel presenter. Would you have any tips for someone with no previous tv experience to break into the travel industry, I'm just a travel youtuber who funds my own trips and videos, it would be nice to earn a few quid doing what I love even if it's not enough for rent, who needs a home when you got the world to explore :)
