Perfect explanation and demonstration video, thank you so much. This was the first video I watched to get the procedure to level the bed "properly". I got one of these from a good friend and did not have any manuals or anything. I know from past experiences with other printers about bed leveling with the paper trick, but all the measurement numbers and auto-leving of this one really confused me. Keep up the great content friend! P.S. I did not have a 0.2 mm gauge so I just used a cardstock flyer from the mail and it ended up working out great too 👍🏻

Great tutorial - BUT. So I haven't used mine in a while, haven't moved it, but after watching a few of your videos (EXCELLENT, by the way), I thought I should level mine again. In following your steps, I could not get enough adjustment in the rear - both of them. Then it dawned on me. I tightened my adjustments all the way, then loosened them about 2 turns. Then, I did the measurement. Then repeated your steps again and it worked great!

You dont need to adjust with cold table and then with hot table. I think adjusting with hot tabe AND hot nozze is enough. Nozzle needs to be hot too for two reasons. 1 it expands too, 2 you can easily cut any excess material easily that could result in faulty measurements

Replacing the springs with solid spacers would probably be are a good investment for ABL printers so I hear because it removes the need to adjust the bed because the level should always be the same I'm going to buy some for my ender 3 pro and see if I can get my Bl Touch working on it.

Friends - hobbyists, an interesting question here. I am looking forward to buy my first 3D printer and have chosen to go either with CR10S Pro V2, the one presented in this video or CR10 V3, but can't decide which one to go for, I am also looking forward to being able to print flexible filament. Just bought myself a Creality CR10S Pro V2 because all i see on youtube is the most smoothest and flawlesly unboxing and imediately perfect working 3D printer without any problems that makes the most reliable and perfect prints you can imagine. I want to install the printer so perfect, read the manual before from A to Z and backwards so that i'm not going to make any mistakes, then looked for another dozen unboxing and installing tips on RU-vid and finally after 2 days i managed to install my printer without a problem in no time. But then.................I turned it on and................... you guess; ...... trouble started; The printer went down on the bed and made a really ignorant noise like metall that is bending ..... and it did bent (or is it benD??). The Nozzle was in the middle of the bed and was going down while the BLTouch Bed Leveling Probe was hitting the bed first, 2 times to be exactly, and then get up again before it came down without anything in the world could stop it. It really hit my Bed very hard and before i knew what was going on and powered off the machine, there was alot of damage. I have tried to recover the damage and went on, with the believe it was my own fault because i was so stupid to trust something to work right out of the box. But whatever i tried and how much video's i watched before making another attempt; the damage is getting worse and worse. BTW, after leveling it always says that Z=29,9. But the nozzle is only about 15 away from the bed. So now i have a completely brand new CR10S Pro V2 that is not working (and the bed is damaged, without warranty as i understood).. It really drives me crazy and i'm desperately in need of help. Is there anybody, preferebly in the Netherlands, that can help me please????? Thanks in advance, Gerard

Ilan David you can achieve this one of two methods. Method 1 (my preferred) print off of local SD card as normal and that gcode has it to auto level. Use octoprint to simply monitor the print. Method 2 edit octoprint start gcode with the auto level command G29. (Look yo how to do that. Plenty of resources our there detail it) hope that helps! Cheers!

Not sure if you've resolved it yet but I had the same issue. I got my printer a week ago. The nozzle wouldn't get close to the bed even with bed adjust up high. Found out my BL touch probe was stuck, pulled it down and it changed colors. The auto level started working and lowered the nozzle all the way to the bed. Now my bed is as low as it will go to keep the springs tight, no issues since. Hope this helps.

@AntonsCreations

Does anyone have difficulty adjusting the z-axis leading rods using the black plastic piece? The left leading rod of my printer is always lower. I assume it's due to the weight of the printing head. When I release my hands after turning the rods, it will slightly turning back by its own weight, unless I hold the rods while clicking the screen to move on z-axis so the motor becomes on and locked. Once I turn off my printer, it seems to be going back to be tilting. So does it mean that I have to calibrate it every time after I turn off my printer?
@AntonsCreations

the printer compensates when turned on for the nozzle head weight a bit. no, you should not have to level it every time. using the black piece, make sure both sides of the rail have same amount of height and that should be good

I have followed all the steps in here and have the 4 corners perfectly level. My issue is My bed itself is not nearly flat. I can't get the center to be the same as the edges. I would think that having the bed levelled on the edges would at least get me a good level bed and the auto bed-levelling would account for the center being a bit higher but no matter what I do, the prints near the middle on the first layer are too high in comparison to the edges, even with auto bed levelling before the print. any ideas? @@hrithiksoni2986 I also have the same as you. And raising the z axis to compensate for the middle which is touching the middle is going to throw off the sides to ~.4mm now Is there a better way to fix this? If not, I am going to return it

Johnson Ng i flipped the metal bed and it seems to have fixed the problem for me. You could flip the bed or just buy a glass bed. Seems like the bed provided is not perfectly flat
