For anyone unsure or otherwise unfamiliar with the mode, you can swap out one of your pokemon with one of your opponent's 3 after every battle. But you can't see the stats and you have to scout ahead of time during the battle to try and scout their move sets.

Also opposing pokemon's IVs are based on your battle tower streak so you are less incentivized to swap Pokémon unless their's is really good.

Very well done! I loved my little cameo of my 85 win streak on the TV with my gamecube! This video definitely gives the facility the respect it deserves. Surely this will drive more people to have more attempts and its a statistical enivitability that we'll see some amazing battle footage. I'm imagining a Noland battle with 10 focus band activations! And look at you not complaining about your Round 8 draft Ursaring8 with random IV's. Perfect speed IV would have made the difference for outspeeding Walrein/Vaporeon/Umbreon

I had no idea this level of sheer difficulty and unpredictability could come from a vanilla emerald WR and not a ROM hack/kaizo/nuzlocke. Also, the Charizard turntables from 113rd attempt in the end was such a poetic, sweet redemption moment!! Absolutely a rollercoaster of emotions, this video, start to finish, Congrats WR champion!!🤩

Amazing video, as I expected during the brainstorming phase on stream. Thx for introducing me to the depths of Factory. Originally I was only gonna do it to complete my set of Gold symbols on cartridge, but after getting that done in only 3 tries, I didn't feel done with the game. Your streams made me interested to try and go further, culminating in a PB streak of 76 (hey, I got almost halfway to beating your WR lol). Also, that Explosion effect was perfect.

This is such a high level video. The small details of always showing the calcs, to showing “what if scenarios” in between. Like actually showing your Pokémon losing a hypothetical situation rather than just saying “my Pokémon needs to dodge 2 crits then gets outsped” these details really really improve viewership experience and set apart good from amazing videos. You earned a like and a sub, and I’m sure thousands more from this vid

@@LRXC1 with Scarlet and Violet lacking any resemblance to a battle tower it honestly doesn’t seem likely I love Gen 4 so many stronger monsters than what you’re used too playing ADV but was before the reign of dragons in Gen 5 can’t wait to see it 😁 Edit: Also I’ve had wayyy more luck with the HG/SS battle factory than the Platinum battle factory

great vid as expected! I reckon for part 2, when you're describing what moves you were considering to do but didnt, use a different colour filter (e.g. yellow or green). I reckon that'll make it easier to follow what is actually happening vs your thought process and why you didn't so some things (e.g. explode with fortress on skarm)
