I wanted to build a wall bed for my bedroom and after researching on the Intrnet I discovered this company named Easy DIY Murphy Bed and thy were offering a really affordable Murphy bed mechanism with all hardware parts to build your own Murphy bed.Ihad been looking for a wall bed for while because I wanted to build my own away bed for my guest bedroom.This is my video of how I buit and assembled my wallbed with a few simple tools and regular wood from my local hardware store.I foun this hidden bed hardware kit really good ,easy to do and made out of high quality parts.Iwas also able to easily customize it for my space.Leave a comment below or feel free to ask me any questions about my project.https: More details here // • Easy DIy Murphy Bed re... ,www.easydiymurphybed.com ,or 1800 648 9651

I would suggest using some magnets at the base of freely rotating bottom stand. The thing is when you bring it down utmost care has to be taken to keep the shelf in correct position for the bed to land, and it have to be monitored till the end. But by adding 2 magnets at each side will help you with the same and it will stick the shelf momentarily and wont need monitoring till the end.

When bed is up you can put a 2 mirrors on it.... When ever I look at this type of bed I remember the scene from Allo Allo when old bat stuck on bed upside down,,,,

great job tim! the finish is awesome! I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the music. its one of those "get to it!" kind of song and I can hear you fine through it. besides that, the whole thing is built well. I like the shelf idea. I don't know what I would put on it hahaha but it would be useful to set small items down throughout the day and it makes it look more like regular furniture than a big box. the stain looks great man. u be blessed sir :)

Thanks for the vid, very informative. Its seems like that version of the bed comes with a lot better instructions than the other companies. that helped a lot. I hate to nitpick, but the music was a bit loud compared to your voice later in the vid, and did not really add any value to the video. Thanks for the post, it was useful.

Awesome bed dude, just a small tip, maybe try writing a script or bullet points to refer too as your recording, you repeated the same thing three times in the first 30 seconds as if you weren't sure what to say, a script or some bullet points might help take the pressure off what you say, and relax! Your doing great just try and smooth out those rough edges my dude, keep making awesome stuff ✌️👍

It looks very nice, is it stable and firm or does the parts move a lot? I dont know, it look like its fragile. I think it would be nice to put a mirror below the bed, so when you put the bed up you have a nice big mirror to view yourself in. Sadly I live in Argentina and I cant buy the kit but I wonder, do you think its posible to build something similar from scratch that would work in the same way just with massive pine wood and a gas shocks?

Hi Tim, can you just briefly explain - you have the shelf which you used instead of the legs. But what's holding up the head side of the bead? Is it just the brackets? Is that really stable enough when someone's lying in bed? Thank you for the video.
