Thanks, this will be perfect to do during the winter when i don't mind heating the house, i try to freeze some for summer but never have enough freezer space and go without till a rainy cool day that are few and far between
So cool! I bet you could pop it out of the can and give it 5 minutes under the air fryer and it would make a crust as well. I am going to try. Thank you!
I own one of these mixers and it sounds to me like your motors going out on your. It shouldn't be making that high pitched grinding noise. Also I wouldn't use butter to grease your jars I would use Olive oil or vegetable oil or a pig fat. Otherwise the bread could stick to the jars.
I love your accent ma'am. I was just scrolling through videos and came across yours on canned 🍞. I could sit and listen to you talk all day. New Subscriber not only for your accent but interested in what thoughts, idea's and information you have to share.
@@asmallholdinginwales yes I totally agree! I live off grid in Oklahoma USA. Up in the foothills of the Ouitcha Mts. In an area called winding stairs. I love doing everything even cutting and splitting my own firewood but at my age and doing it for 26 years well ..lol 😂 I thankyou for trying to can white bread, I'm going to do it and corn bread why not!! I've canned the quick reads and cake mixes. Besides meats, milk and stews, garden veggies, deer and fish I hunt. Opening up a can of catfish or salmon is great! Be blessed with more strength and joy you're such a delight even in seriousness!
Wonderful video! Thank you! I have canned quick breads & cakes. And we liked them. I've not been certain about white bread. I will be doing this. It's an excellent idea! Many thanks. God bless!
Gonna give it a go!! This looks wonderful, I make bread for hubby and I, goes bad and chicks end up getting the rest!! Would save so much money and waste!
I noticed you answered the question of a comment that asked "How long can we store it?" It was three months then and it was good but now its almost a year have you tried it? And, how was it?
It has been the first time I have canned it, I tried one jar after 6 weeks and it was fine just as the day it was made, it’s now three months on I opened another jar last week and it’s still fine , I am taking a guess at 12 months I will continue to try it throughout the year.
