This is how I clean my lovebird’s cage when they have a nest and eggs. Chicken and Puffin are both female so their eggs are not fertile. I do not clean any nests if the eggs are fertile as they need to stay warm and incubated to hatch.
Please note: Puffin and Chicken are both female so their eggs are not fertile. I never clean my breeder birds nests unless I have confirmed the eggs are not fertile. Fertile eggs need constant incubation to hatch.
Pretty much.@@lovebirdsdelight. They had a little box they used to sleep in together but it was making them really nesty and territorial. They layed eggs in there too.
Do they not seem sad or disappointed when their eggs never hatch? Might be a dumb question but I was pretty sure I'd heard that can be a thing but maybe not
How precious! She reminds me of my late Pumpkin. She was determined to raise an army of babies to conquer the world. She and her mate produced a few dozen babies.
