Poof’s growth story told on her 1year hatch day  

Our baby lovebird Puffin hatched one year ago today on Pi Day 3/14/23. She is our miracle baby as she almost did not survive. Her parents did not feed her on the first day and I had to step in. I will link to that video. I believe it was because they were first time parents. Luckily instinct kicked in and they took great care of her. Puffin was such a great surprise. We had not had a baby in five years and have not had a baby lovebird since. Puffin’s surprise hatch was almost two months to the day we lost our sweet Gigi in January of 2023. We believe some of Gigi lives on in this little girl.
