Omg ikr🤧 I don’t have HORRIBLE skin but I do get cystic acne on my cheeks here and there and mostly on my forehead. After a few years I went to the derm and 5-6 months later my skin is looking 👀clear👀.
You skin have literally healed, I can't see scars or pores. I'm in a phase where I spend half for my day looking to acne treatment, and watch any video related to acne treatment.
Please try La roche posay products- effaclar for acne treatment 🙏🏼 and the cicaplast baume moisturiser to keep it from drying your face. I'm also in the process...its working for me.
Seeing 365 other people struggled with this is eye opening. Walking down the street I feel like the only one with acne, but at least I can connect to people online
I hope my acne clears :( it makes me so self conscious. When you said “i never walked out the house without makeup” i felt that. But i look ugly with makeup also lol. It just never ever ends I’ve tried everything.
@@so_5464 LaBeautyoligist (The Golden Rx) here on youtube, is an esthetician and she has a very informative video about oil cleansing. she mentions what type of oil is best to use for your skin. I personally tried it and did see improvement in my skin. she also has a video called the 60 second rule, might be worth watching too if you struggle with acne.
@@so_5464 you can check which oils are best for your skin online and read about the different oil types that are recommended for oil cleansing Hope that helps
My skin was at its prime a few months ago, but recently it just... went downhill. I’m breaking out consistently and it’s getting worse and my hyperpigmentation, no matter what I do to prevent is just... I’m horrific right now. Mental health is bad. Thank you for this it’s helping.
same, one of the main causes why my mental health is going down. 😭 it became worst when i went to the dermatologist, took medications yet it didn’t work. I feel hopeless rn 😐
Hey it gets super hard sometimes I know been there it’s sucks you feel like you’re the only one going through this and your never gonna find treatment for your skin but please trust me you will!! Mine is way better just have scars but I’m in a process and I know also of mental health issues ( scrupulosity ocd) but girl it will get better I love you so much but God loves you even more He has helped me sooo much :) He can help you to ❤️
I totally relate with this. My skin is exactly like the video now for 2 months, but I tried a product: The ordinary Azeliac Acid 10%, I started purging soooo bad for 3 weeks, now I’m getting better but it’s a process, so I have to be patient. I can recommend you this product , but you have to be aware that you can start purging and it’s gonna be reaaaally bad, but then you’re gonna get better, after 6 or 8 weeks. I’ll also add the niacinamide of the Ordinary, so let’s see if I get better sooner 🙏
This literally helped so much. When the pandemic started my skin literally went a wire and I developed so much acne and scaring on my face. Its was so painful and still Is. It’s so nice to see someone else who is dealing with this. You made me feel so so much better. Thank you for making this video and sharing your journey it means so much 🥺❤️
@@strawberrieswhoppincream2744 Hi! Yes I do I had to kind of stop using all the products I was using before, as the combination of them clogged up my face and caused some of my acne. Right now I just use a the La Roche-Posay Toleriane hydrating face cleanser, I use an Apple cider vinegar toner, hyaluronic acid and Vanicream moisturizing cream. It’s really helping my skin and it’s improving little by little. Also as she had mentioned in the video checking ingredients helped a tone. INCIDecoder was a really helpful website.
@@lauren_michele6796 same honestly! I used to use too many products and it just made it worse tbh. My skin rn is so much better for cutting out some products and simplifying my routine
I had terrible acne all throughout middle school until the end of my freshman year of college. It really was hard on my mental health. I’m so happy where my skin is today!! Things will get better. I started using the ordinary nicinamide (or however it’s spelled) and I’ve seen improvement in my pore size and reducing my extremely oily skin in under two weeks!
I am quite a bit older than you and thinking it would be.a magic bullet, tried accurate in my twenties. I couldn't stand the purge, and quit, but before that I tried to squeeze one of the pimples and it left a little hole on my face. I later got DOT laser therapy on both of my cheeks which stimulated collagen and improved it greatly. Since I am older, my hormonal stuff is a thing of the past. My biggest recommendation to young ladies, wear less makeup, and research what works for you and do not go to extreme measures. Also I do think that eating pretty clean helps. Thanks for your video. I have wanted to get the BHA The Ordinary, and now I will. Also, while volunteering at a senior center in my twenties, a woman said stop frowning like that, you will get lines. I thought she was nuts, but she was right. I have 11 lines in between my eyebrows. I may get botox for that, maybe not, my doctor said it would be 250, and for my DOT laser therapy session, it was 500 and worth it.
I have a lot of acne too, I'm 14 and I find it difficult to find products for my age that has some acne treatment in it, acne runs in my genes so there's no escaping it, my self confidence is super low and I am insecure, to anyone who's reading this, I want you to know that you are beautiful with or without acne, grow to love yourself, I love you! Have a nice day/night/afternoon!
It was so difficult not liking how I looked without makeup but then the makeup almost made my acne MORE apparent. My self esteem got so low that I didn’t want to go to classes, work etc and would cry about how I looked. Acne is such a difficult journey but knowing you’re not alone helps so much
This is going to sound SO WEIRD, but I've been doing hardcore research on skin care and I stumbled upon this video. When I clicked, I looked at your name and thought why does this name sound SO FAMILIAR?!? Then you said you went to UCLA and i realized WE WERE IN THE SAME ANTHRO 1 CLASS LAST QUARTER. That is actually insane!! Anyways love the video. Your skin is sooo beautiful and ur glowing girl. So clear that all your hard work paid off :)
to all those who struggle with acne and other skin related issues: you are not alone. you are not ugly and you do not need all of that makeup. you should still feel beautiful whether you have clear skin or not. I promise you, acne is not a horrendous thing. everyone gets it, sometimes worse for others though. if someone said theyve never gotten a pimple or a bump, or anything like that, they would be lying. I struggle with acne too, so dont feel alone on this.
This makes me feel so much better knowing my skin can once again look that clear I’m actually where you used to be currently and it’s been taking forever but definitely will be giving that a shot!
i’m 13 and ive had horrible acne since i was 10. it really does toll on your mental health more than you think. my friends all have such beautiful clear skin and i have so much bad scarring and just acne prone skin- they like to compare their faces to mine when they get a single pimple and call it an entire breakout 🥲 it personally just makes myself feel worse but i don’t want to seem rude and tell them that
Alexis....I am in full-blown tears right now. I have struggled with EXACT, PAINFUL, ITCHY, CYSTIC, HORMONAL, acne. It has certainly affected my mental health and I have been buying tons of products that will not work. SMH. I found you today and I could not stop crying. I am so grateful to God for you. I am so freaking excited that you are now so confident than ever. You are so pretty!! Thank you for sharing. My insurance will not cover some of this stuff but I will get the basic stuff and I have decided to eat clean, NO SUGAR, DAIRY, PROCESSED FOODS, and amp up on my water intake. Interestingly, I do not smoke, drink!! UGH!! I don't like to go out anymore because of this and it's so embarrassing. Gosh, I cant seem to stop crying. Thank you ever so much for sharing your journey. Thank you.
I definitely agree with you, I'm a young teen and acne really brings my mental health down to the lowest of the low, I was literally crying throughout the video. My mom sent me this video because she knows how much I struggle with not being emotionally ok when I have acne. Mine is hormonal too. I will definitely try this routine except for the tablets. Hopefully it works!
This video boosted my spirits. Before the pandemic I had clear skin then I started getting really bad acne and since I always picked on it it left scars. My skin was peeling off and was super bad but now it’s healing very very slowly. It really hurts when people talk about acne and point it out everywhere I go. My mental health is super bad rn, I don’t go outside anymore, FaceTime my family, or even hangout outside because I feel ugly. This video really made me happy❤️
I feel you! Same happened to me during quarantine and I HATE that people always comments on how red my face looks and start recommending stuff... I’nm currently using some products and getting better! So keep going and dont give up
i love your skin so much. i can't never love mine. im not confident with myself. im afraid talking to people cause of my acne. i have dry, oily and fungal acne and also lots of acne marks. i honestly just don't wanna go outside
10 MONTHS?! This actually gives me so much hope, you have no idea. I’ve been on spironolactone for like two or three months now and still am getting nodular acne. It’s still constantly hurting, but to see that it can actually improve instead of just being told it will is crazy!!! Thank you for letting me know I’m not alone
My acne is getting worst and I am losing all my confidence. But thanks for this, you inspired me. I just bought TO products and CeraVe bc I was also watching Hyram. Andd I just wanna say that You're so lovely! I'm a new subscriber and I wanna see more of your videos! Keep safe! ❤❤❤
Oh my gosh! I’m so happy this video helped in some way! You’re gorgeous no matter what, but I know that acne can be a pain! Also THANK YOU! That means so much - thank you from the bottom of my heart for finding my video and subscribing! You’re amazing and you keep safe too! New videos will come soon I promise ❤️❤️❤️
I'm changing to CeraVe because Hyram and bought The ordinary and hoping my skin get better cuz im 25 and I've never had acné before, so thank u for share this I'm more excited ab this new skin care routine
Ahhh! I’m a senior in college and I’m going through a horrible hormonal breakout, just got prescribed spironolactone and clindamycin too. This is the first video where the before pictures are as severe as my acne and honestly this made me feel so much better. You’re so beautiful
@@bmksz spironolactone is a life saver, as well as birth control! I also stopped using the clindamycin and instead just use jojoba oil as moisturizer and nothing else topical. My skin cleared up in maybe 6 months :-) definitely recommend spironolactone
@@Emma-pr6hi Curious, which hormonal BC are you on? I feel like I've only seen certain brands of the pill advertised. Are there any non pill options recommended?
I’ve tried Curology and I don’t think it helps and is as specialized as you’d think cause they advertise it as that , I told them I didn’t think it was working and they basically said that sucks here we’re going to ship you a giant bottle of the one you said didn’t work instead of trying to switch it up like they claim
GUYS. I watched this video 3 months ago, the morning of my long-awaited dermatologist appointment. She literally prescribed the same thing... and I can now smile without feeling the painful cystic acne:') You're beautiful folks. it gets better.
@@vantaii11 i'd say two months in I stopped getting new cystic pimples. there were a few that would stay flared up, but not really any new ones. which before i'd been getting three or so big ones a week:( the ordinary niacinamide is great for overall health, and so is the red mask...but honestly I see no difference from alpha arbutin even after almost a year. bio-oil has been amazing, and I'm trying out rosehip oil right now. i still get small whiteheads on my chin and forehead, but no where near what they were before.
The purging phase can actually last for a few months. It’s recommended to use a product for 6-8 weeks before switching to something else or quitting. Very frustrating for the people that have a longer purging phase but sadly true
This. She ended up going back to all the same ingredients that curology originally prescribed her just in serums and whatever her doctor prescribed. So it’s not that it made it worse.. just didn’t wait long enough.
I watch this when my acne makes me wanna cry and give up my routine, go back to full on layers of make up to hide myself. I just gotta remember to breathe and be patient or do as Dory says and 'just keep swimming' past those bad acne days. Good luck to all of you struggling with acne!
@@viktoriatresova2726 hmm...I don’t know a lot of research with colleges powder but I personally don’t believe it works since our skin naturally has collagen which makes us look youthful. When your 25 the percentage rate of your collagen decreases and you start to form wrinkles. Reason why I don’t believe collagen powder doesn’t work is because it’s not IN our skin. It goes to our stomach and does the whole process. It will eventually dissolve and only goes into your stomach and some of your other body parts.
@@viktoriatresova2726 Collagen is a waste product from the meat industry and topically isn't proven to benefit the skin. You're better off with a low form of retinol (which is scientifically proven to work) and daily sunscreen 😇
i got a collagen injection in the area of my face that used to have a lot of acne scars and my skin healed faster and also i had less breakouts after that
Collagen did disasters on my skin. It did not like it. After being acne free for many many years taking Collagen ruined it. Been trying to get rid of it for a year now. 😪
Literally crying bcoz I've been suffering with acne for 3 years now and seeing u now gives me little more confidence into trusting the process tysmm!!!
definitely motivating me as I'm going through the same journey right now, 4 months has passed :" getting better but still affecting my self confidence :( and that is why i am now here watching other's journey to stay positive :")
Trying out different skincare products is hard. This is why we chose a brand that offers MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. The Banish Kit 2.0 is helping my husband in fading his scars for years now. Thankfully, it works! With consistent use, we are thankful to find a product that works for us
you made me feel so much better. i’m crying as i’m typing this im super confident and love myself the only problem i have is my severe acne and i hate it. been struggling for 5 yrs. i’m waiting for my dermatologist to call back. i can’t wait to get my face treated i’m so tired of my disgusting skin
I have exactly the same acne as yours for the past 10 years and it's always on the cheeks .. horrible .. I have been on accurtane a long time ago it did cure my acne but then I had it back after 6 months from finishing my treatment... 10 years later I still have acne :( I just accepted that acne will always be part of my life :(
It’s totally okay girl, I can’t see you but I know that you’re absolutely stunning exactly the way you are...with or without acne, acne is totally normal and even if you can’t get rid of it you are still beautiful ❤️❤️
GIRL! My skin looks exactly how yours used to, it came out of now where! The end of this month will be 3 months on sprio! THANK YOU for being brave and sharing your story, it is giving me hope!
@@jazmynmayorga3364 Hang in there! I didn't see like full clearance of acne til like around 4 months, but it kept getting better every week after 3 months. And thank the lord it is clear now! Now I get to deal with acne scars... :) I notice I will get a small breakout or two if I eat too much sugar
@@nicolefettig281 all u would have to use to clear those acne scars up is Aquaphor it helps tremendously with dark marks & it restores the skin! For me it actually keeps my face moisturized for a whole day or 2
I remember taking pictures of my acne when it was at my worst so I can have before pictures, and then breaking down crying deleting them because I was so embarrassed that anyone would see the pictures. I hated myself more than I ever could and I’d cry so much over how much my appearance disgusted me and how painful it was to even touch my face. It’s been about six months since finally being able to go to the dermatologist, and I just wanna go back and hug myself. Nobody deserves to go through that. My skin has since then cleared up, and I hate myself for deleting those pictures. If you’re contemplating getting a dermatologist, don’t think ab it anymore. Antibiotics are scary, but sometimes you just need them. Your journey will soon come to an end, and you will be pain free.
this was helpful! my acne is getting worse, and it really bugs me all the time /: always buying new products, but I’ll definitely look into ordinary! thank u sm
I’m so glad this was helpful!!! I get the feeling :/ I hope the ordinary will work for you and if you have any questions please ask me!!! ❤️ also you’re so gorgeous!!! I see you all over my insta and I’m like dang she’s beautifulllllll
I honestly want to thanks you because I have a lot of acne and it actually is really similar to what kind of acne you had. Its been literally 6 years of searching and trying stuffs that just doesn't work for me. I want to get rid of it because it affects my mental health too much and I want to feel pretty, I want to feel confident. It honestly feel good to know that a lot of people are also struggling with acne and that im not alone so thank you. Ill try some of the products. And girl you're so pretty, honestly your skin looks gorgeous and im truly happy for you
I remember when I was in High School (Graduated 2011) I had acne on my face and it was like a volcano. I ended up taking one of those foot bricks that you'd use in the shower, and bleeding my face out so bad that it created a long scabby scar, but after that, it never came back again. Obviously I don't advise anybody to do that, but it was a memory I'd never forget about.
My skin is currently exactly where yours was during it’s rough patch. Dealing with the scarring and the post-inflammatory erythema (red spots) is absolutely a pain and totally destroys my confidence especially looking back on how I was before the pandemic being totally acne and scar free. Wearing the masks and having something constantly rub on my face and irritate it initially caused the acne and after wearing it all day every day throughout the whole pandemic as an essential worker it started to irritate it even more and leave all these red spots. I’ve tried so many different things and nothing has worked and I’ll think it’s getting better but then it just goes on this decline again. I was also thinking about doing curology but this video really helped me to decide not to do it and to just save my money haha. I’ll stay up day and night just worrying about it which doesn’t help but luckily I convinced my mom get me started with the laser treatment as soon as I return home from my current base where I’m stationed. I was the same way tho. Developed around the end of junior year/ beginning of senior year in hs and had it since. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and helping to inspire others. I am on some of the products that you are on as well but I will look into the others. You came a long way and held true to who you are as a person and in the end just embraced it which is what I need to work on haha. You are absolutely stunning now with perfect skin. But like you said, it doesn’t define who a person is which is ironic cause I feel that it’s all people see when they look at me. You were beautiful throughout the whole process and were a trooper for sure! Thank you for being so inspirational love I appreciate it a lot.
I have acne too. I know the pain. But my point is guys be careful with the medication because it has extrem side effects on your organs and Skin besides clearing your skin. Dryness affecting your body, attacking your liver and other horrible consequences. I am not trying to spread hate but you should be aware what you take in to your body even if your skin clears completely then you will have other problems with your body because of the medications. Things that have positive effects can also have negative side effects people. The doctor should also explain to you the side effects and then inform yourself from trusted springs. At the end of the day you have to deal with your decisions because it’s your Body. Take good care of it. Thanks for the video Alexis. I loved listening to your experience with acne because it was so rare and authentic and brave from you to talk about it and show through pictures the reality of having acne and going through it. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it. Lots of love gurl !
I have never watched a RU-vid video in skincare that was as informing and honest as this one! Your skin looks great and I am happy you found things that work for you! ❤️ My acne is breakouts from “Mother Nature” and eating certain foods. I have a lot of hyper pigmentation from when I was in high school and hopefully some of these products work for me. I have started using the Cerave cleanser and have noticed the difference than Cetaphil!
you have no idea how happy i am for you. im so glad you survived the grueling path that having acne has put you through 🥺🧡 im going through hormonal acne down my cheeks and chin, too, but im trying to stay positive 💛 this has helped me so much!
I hate when people have 3 little pimples and they tell you to brace yourself for you’re about to see the “worst” of their acne pictures! 🙄 Makes me appreciate this video so much.
One of the most honest videos on RU-vid regarding acne. Thank you for sharing your story and being so amazing. You’re absolutely beautiful and you gave top shelf advice so thank you!🙌🏼
You shouldn't use clindamycin or any other topical antibiotic for more than 4-6 months because you'll develop bacterial resistance and the product will stop working, i suggest you talk to your medical provider to change your prescription for epiduo which has adapalene and benzoyl peroxide as a maintenence treatment so that your acne keeps improving and the acne bacteria doesn't get resistant to the treatment.
Ngl, I’ve heard that 1000 time of your face doesn’t dictate who you are. I’m 21 been dealing with a red pimple face for about a good 6 years and have tried everything under the sun, lol, to help this and I just can’t. Thanks for the words of encouragement but I have to face the real world
So thankful I found this video and your channel! I'm 26 and have been fighting acne for years. I recently discovered the ordinary products and seeing how they worked for you has given me faith to hang in there 🙏 ❤️ your skin is so glowly and gorgeous xx
Water doesn't clear acne or contribute to it at all. You're right that dairy CAN but not always be what's causing it. Drinking water is something I would recommend anyway because drinking nasty sugary drinks does not help with your skin and your diet contributes to your skins health. You won't see any results by drinking water and there is research out there that backs up this claim. Good luck people
@@glopsnopper3806 True. My dermatologist said that some people are sensitive to dairy in terms of acne. I never had stomach issues with dairy. But he suggested I give it up for a while and see if it makes a difference. It did! My skin got so much better after giving up dairy. My cousin eats lots of dairy and has clear skin. So it depends.
Lewis Atherton , I had very bad acne before around my mouth, forehead and cheek/chin. But when I started to drink 3-4 bottles of water a day, they were gone in 1-2 weeks. So it actually helps to drink water.
I am a teen and I had have acne scince like sixth seventh grade. It’s probably one of my biggest and only one of my insecurities so I am hoping that it will clear, I recently went to the dermatologist but I am still very confused on what products I should get , thank you for sharing your journey with us !!
Im 11 and i have bad acne on my forehead and a little on my cheeks and it’s horrible every time some pimples go away and my face looks better i always wake up to more. Ive dealt with this since The ending of my fourth grade year. Its been a real struggle i just dont feel confident. Most people either talk to me for a little then the next day they threaten me or ignore me bc of it. It really just.. brings me down i sit in the mirror every night talking to myself for hours.. it sucks and ive tried everything.
I feel you, my acne finally started clearing up the summer AFTER I graduated high school, which conveniently had to be during covid-19 🙃 I was like who’s suppose to see my skin now 🧍🏻♀️
During junior year, I finally got the chance to go to the dermatologist and my doctor said the same he looked at my acne for like 10 min and than gave me adapelene (I couldn’t take acutane). My skin ofc purged but I could DEF see the improvement. My skin was bipolar lmao times I thought it was finally gonna clear the next day I get 2 pimples. During quarantine I started watching Hyram (🙌🏻) and adapted cereve foaming cleanser and the ordinary products and now my skin is pretty much clear (I was first introduced to the holy grail ingredient nicinamide from my free trial with curology lol). DONT get discouraged when your skin purges, think of it as your skin clearing up the bad to make way for the better :)
Omg thank so muchhh!! ,since I’m still at a young age I also felt very insecure and wouldn’t leave the house because of my acne and would always wear makeup, there are also times where I can’t even look into the mirror 🥺
I had also cystic acnes and facial hair due to PCOD i just changed my eating sleeping and workout habits and it completely changed my skin without going to doctor and buying any expensive skin care products except moisturiser.
So happy I found this video I want to cry 😩 I went to the dermatologist last week because my acne was getting so bad from the mask that I couldn’t take it anymore. And my dermatologist prescribed spirolactane (don’t know if that’s how you spell it) as well! Cant wait to try it
Ughhhh my face is literally so bad 😪😕 my texture is getting worse): Iiterally have holes now ): I'm so tired of this shit , I cut out milk from my diet I still need to cut out the rest of the dairy products, I really hope my face clears up one day ): thank you for sharing your story
I had horrendous cystic acne mine looked worse than yours too it suddenly came out of nowhere last year I tried absolutely everything its hormonal! but a few weeks ago i got la rouche posay efaclar duo and omg within a few days my face started clearing!! Its incredible! I still have a few dark marks left but they are fading
this is awesome! Your skin journey is amazing and your skin now ist just very, very beautiful ! I´m glad everything worked out for you with those products! BUT to let everyone else know, who is watching and struggling with acne--> Purging does not last at most 2 weeks! In the best case, purging time is between 4 to 6 weeks! Your skin needs at least 28 days to renew itself! so you might see results earlier than that but it possibly still can get worse AFTER 14 days or more! AND purging can literally last up to 3 months! it depends on your condition of acne and your skin, body, ect! I know it sucks, but hang in there ! It will get better! once the purging state is over- you gonna see results so much quicker and feel more confident again! Your beautiful - no matter what! Do not forget that ! but i know, we all want to be beautiful with clear skin :D
Honestly I would say this quarantine has been a game changer for my skincare. Since I stayed mostly indoors and barely used any makeup for over a year, and away from the sun, my skin appeared more receptive to products. Makeup is SO BAD for acne, I wish somebody told me this back then. Also guys stop experimenting with products (like I did) please see a dermatologist. Most of the skincare products are not of prescription dose, so will not do the job adequately.
I’ve been trying to get rid of my acne scars forever. Recently I’ve been drinking a teaspoon of acv twice a day, drinking ALOT of water, and doing turmeric mask(mix tumeric and water/honey until it’s a smooth paste), I’ve noticed a hugeeee difference and the only time I get more acne is when I’m eating unhealthy, stressed or during my period. Also I use glycolic acid as a toner and palmers fade cream. Keep in mind you HAVE to wear sunscreen. Everybody skin is different but I really hope that helps.
Currently crying...I am one month in on spironolactone 50 mg and I have seen such an improvement in my skin!!! Can't wait to see what my progress looks like a few months from now! At the same time and very importantly so, I am working hard on being nice to myself as I am :)
If u r person dealing with acne , u should know that the root cause of acne is pore clogging by dirt ,oil and bacteria. Oil cleansing is the best thing to do to your acne prone skin (coz oil binds with oil and removes it) (p.s. excess oil) (do wear sunscreen all the time even if you are indoors, except night) coz it prevents sebum oxidation which causes acne. Don't over wash your skin (2 times a day is enough) and use fragrance free non comedogenic products free from mineral oils ,in my opinion switch to korean skincare products they are just a blessing to your skin . I hope it helps ❤ don't worry you will make it through.
Girl same ): I have so many scars now , the cream the dermatologist prescribed me is not freaking working and I've been using it for monthsssssss , but I have finally stopped consuming dairy , well milk as the first baby step cuz girl cheese is so good 😫 , anyways I have noticed my skin improve, maybe you can try it out as well and see how your face will clear up too, hope this helps have a good dayyyy (:
i used curology a few years ago and had a very similar formula to yours and it totally cleared my skin. i had acne my entire teenage life and once i used curology it totally cleared it. once i stopped using it my skin started breaking out a few months later and now i’m using it again and hoping my skin will go back to being clear again ❤️
wow this was really amazing! Your skin looks so beautiful, I would never have guessed you had acne! I use to break out really bad in HS, and i recently graduated college and am going through some really bad acne rn! This video gives me hope! Im going to talk to my MD about those products! Thank you for sharing! Forreal this has made my day!
I’ve been struggling with Acne since 2018 and I’m just 21 💔 literally spent my youth hiding myself and feeling like shit. COVID was an eye opener for me. I loved wearing my mask because it hides my scars and acne. Y’all I still wear my face mask because I’m still hiding 💔💔💔
You helped me to hope that I will get better (my face looks exactly like yours was at 2:58, it's been months and I've used countless products!) !!! Thanks for that! 🙏❤
Purging lasts between 4-6 weeks ☹️ it’s no fun but when u are actually purging vs breaking out, it’s beyond worth it! . So glad u found what works for u and cleared ur skin!! I use the same la roche posay cleanser as well!
I hope my acne clears:/ I’ve had it for 3 years and I have scaring all over my face, I start the pill tomorrow that was prescribed specially for acne so I really hope it works because everyday I feel ugly without make up:/ People with clear skin don’t understand how lucky they are :(
Scarring can be treated and once you've beat your acne you can focus your attention on that. One problem at a time friend. I wish you luck and I hope your medication works. Be patient we will get there!
it’s so nice to see im not the only one going through this,i sadly cannot afford a dermatologist but i’m gonna try the products she was saying and hopefully it clears up.
girl i feel your pain and honestly thank you so so much for this video!! you are beautiful with or without acne 💝 and honestly your confidence and skin is wow 🤩 i admire how you put your before acne pics!!
anyone never had acne until like out of no where and it comes and goes but the zits stayed for longer and the pimples and tried almost everything and still haven't changed?
Alsooo your skin looks amazing! Thank you for sharing tour story! I’ve been looking into Ordinary products but have been hesitant because my skin is so sensitive and I have had no luck with sooo many products, but I might just give Ordinary a try ((:
THANK YOU❤️ yes I get that hesitation because I was the same way! I hope it works for you! Also for the AHA/BHA PEEL - it can be a little harsh especially if your skin isn’t used to chemical exfoliations and is sensitive! I would suggest trying the ordinary’s 10% mandelic acid and HA if you do get a chemical exfoliant! It’s their gentlest chemical exfoliator and is best for super sensitive skin! ❤️🥺 I MISS YOU and I hope this helps
GIRL thank god i found this video. im on spiro right now and have been since december, i was upset bc it didnt seem to be working intensely but i had less deep pimples and more surface ones, but you just literally saved me from buying curology and now im just gonna wait with spiro :)) we seem to have the same skin type as well so this was perfect
My pimples litteraly just started this year and I'm already having a acne breakout (it's extremely worse and super itchy) I rlly find this Video inspiring, ty very much
You’re the first person I’ve seen who had the exact same acne that I have. Literally exact same. Thanks for the video! My doctor just prescribed spiro so hopefully it works for me too!
Actually, she didnt see a dermatologist because her insurance didnt cover it. She went to a doctor who prescribed whatever he was allowed to prescribe for acne
hi, first of all sorry for my broken english. anyway.. since the first time i got acne, i started to do a lot of research on how to clear it up just like you. and i saw a lot of videos like this.. It's been exactly 2 years of my journey finding an effective skincare products, my skin does actually cleared up a BIT, but not for my skin texture. i can't believe you can fix your skin texture just by chemical peeling, not a physical peeling like your doctor recommend you to do. which is good for you. I've never tried The Ordinary one, so i really really hope it will works for me too seeing how you got the same type of acne as mine, the same areas that got infected, the scars, the effect, the pain, and everything. wish me luck! congrats for your new skin and new you. thank you for sharing beautiful
tysm, your encouragements really reassured me!! im currently in the acne scar stage and im so scared to find a product that WONT harm my skin. from past experiences, i tried new products and it made me 'purge' for wayyyy too long. never seemed to get better. thats why im lowkey paranoid with skincare and only buy the basics for now. but now im stuck with hyperpigmentation
Hey, thanks for making this video I have been feeling really down with my acne just going wild. I have had a clear skin for the longest time and now its just getting wild. Do you suggest any particular product that helped you get rid of dark acne spots left from cystic acne?
you are so so beautiful! and also i just want to say how much this means to me to watch this and to know i'm not alone. i've gone throught the same kind of acne woes as you have and i didn't have access to a dermatologist either, and rn i'm in the healing my scars process. thank you for being yourself and so positive! you set such a great example to others that you are more than your acne and you give such great advice too :)
I have sent you a positive DM about it, remember that even if you have acne, you are beautiful and you are not alone. By the way I want to say if you want to be friends?
istg this is the best best acne journey video I've ever came across w. I felt like it isn't this girl but me, BC I'VE THE SAME STORY! and seeing that it took 10 months for her, I'm gonna wait and be patient. I'm from India, and I tried this brand SKINKRAFT which is ig same as curology and SKINKRAFT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME, not gonna elaborate more on this, because everything in this video is same as my story. getting hormonal acne after fungal acne, purging phase, and every damn thing is relatable. I'm so glad that I found this video. thankyou SM x
