Good Luck! which set are you going to try and complete? i got some videos on Paldean Fates where i weigh the packs to see if they have better pull rates and did a similar experiment with all the 151 stuff. if you find a shop that will let you weigh the packs before buying might be worth checking out (some local shops with loose packs let you do that).
Looks like you both won because you both got what you wanted. I’m trying to complete a master set right now also. I’m still missing quite a few but my binder is filling up fast! I only have an ETB left to open and I’m not sure if I want to just yet, I’m going to try my luck at Costco in Ottawa this weekend to see if they got anything, if not I’ll complete my set through Facebook groups.
Love that response, we both won for sure! some ETB's are hidden gems, i opened up alot on this channel and i got some really heavy hitters out of them and even a God Pack. id suggest opening it up and testing your luck. Costco Canada also has those 2 pack bundles for 50 bucks you get the zapados and alakazam ex boxes. i heard great things about those. and i also heard a rumor that they are going to be getting more UPC's in stock at 120 a piece. @@Kilbride10 I think the best advice I could give is getting 1 set of each product. For example for 151 I’d buy the zapdos ex box, alakazam box, 151 upc, 151 ETB, binder collection and poster collection and finally a product from Pokémon centre so you would have got the squirtle promo( timing is key on that since the promo was only given out during a certain time frame …now the only way to get it is buying it from someone) and a booster bundle. If you do this This would essentially have gotten you every promo card from the set as well as a decent amount of chances to pull a god pack or most of the heavy hitters. My first god pack was from a UPC and my second god pack was from a ETB. The rest of the missing cards id hit up some card shows and try to buy as many singles from the same vendor to strike a good deal. Another tip, work backwards if you know a master set is selling for about $1100 bucks on eBay you don’t want to spend more than $1100 to complete yours.

You can do it! just start the hunt for the SIR's the rest will fall into place, once you start trading ppl tell them you are completing the master set, most ppl are super generous and try to help you hunt down the missing cards. Thanks for the comment and supporting the channel!🙏

Wow that's so cool dude!! I always wanted to complete a master set. I just started collecting cards again beginning of 2024. Crown Zenith, Paldean Fates, and Paradox Rift are both my top sets that I have the most cards from. I feel like Crown Zenith might be the one I do it for or Paradox Rift (underrated set) but we'll see. Thanks for sharing!

@@PinEverlasting23 Here in Toronto i go to every CSC event, after the show they have trade nights where everyone just hangs around and chills and you can trade cards etc. try to see if your city has any events like that its super fun and you can get some missing cards at the same time. Hi! I just started collecting Pokemon cards and I started off with the 151 Japanese set. I'm a bit confused with how to complete the set. You have the regular cards. you have one the Holo one with the regular pokeball, then some cards are just holo or have silver edges, and then you have the holo masterball? i need guidance. thank you.
Hey! Welcome to the community. For the Japanese sets you can google “151 Japanese master set” and the first link will show you all the cards you need. You can line them up in order, make sure to collect all the reverse holos with the master ball, they are different than the holos with the pokeball. You will be able to tell it is a master ball because there will be a “M” in the pokeball. Side note The gengar master ball from 151 Japanese is selling for a lot. Hope that’s helpful just message me again if you need more details
Hey, yes the holos are. I set it this master set to go with the regular then reverse holo. Put all the sirs in top loaders and the promos are at the back of the binder, you can set it up anyway you want. Use the booklet you get from the ETB if you never bought a ETB you can download it in a pdf version for free from a simple google search. Try to go for all the SIR's in the set. that way if you ever want to complete the set you would just need to acquire some of the easier pull rate cards. The SIR's are holding their value as well so consider it a "investment" the wife loves that word ;)
Your almost done! I’d suggest just buying the blastoise. Look for a nice clean raw card should be around $60 Canadian. If it’s clean you can also get it graded might come back a 10! Good luck and thanks for leaving a comment and supporting the channel
you missing a few. i have the full masterset. you dont have the 001/165 (scarlet and violet 151 promo) also dont have the 004/165 Charmander Gamestop promo. There are also 2 types of energies, normal and galaxy hd energies. gl with getting them
You are missing a few as well =]. if yours is a full masterset, then I have a true Deluxe master set. Yes those you mentioned are promos, but you are missing the charmander ebgames promo (australia and new zealand) and the pikachu and eeve pokemon together promos from uk and us pokemon center. They are considered to be ENGLISH 151 so not like korean or japanese. SO guess you need a few more to be ultimate.

@TheTechUnravel are you trying to buy the rest? Or trade for them? If so try to check Facebook market place. If you want to pull them then I’d suggest buying some loose packs for $7 Canadian (make sure you buy from a trusted seller tho, a lot of ppl resealing packs and selling online)
