In this video, you will learn how to ride crabapple hits, Dwayne Johnson, D1, and Lower Dirt merchant (the 4 proline trails in Whistler). They all have their moments that require brakes and pedals into jumps, and this video will give all you riders the perfect speeds and general information about the jumps.

I went to whistler for the first time ever this week and the confidence boost is crazy. Hit every pro line open even though I have never even hit A line sized jumps before

Awesome video, My favorite pro-line by far is crabapple because of how easy it is despite being so large, by the way I measure the last jump and it comes in at 52 feet at the knuckle so probably around 55 feet sweet spot

Such an underrated channel. Would you happen to know any trails in the southeast that would be good for progressing up to whistler pro line trails or just similar trails/slightly easier?

Dude you rip how big are the crab apple hits keep it up
@trailreviews3628
@trailreviews3628 2 года назад
Thanks! They start small. Seems like each jump gets bigger by about 10-12 feet until the last one which is just over 60 to the ideal landing zone. They’re much easier than they look though and the Whistler builders made them flow extremely well!

Awesome stuff!!!! What jump from Aline you think prepares you the best for the big jump on crabapple hits? I have seen people getting bucked, does it feel kicky?
@trailreviews3628
@trailreviews3628 2 года назад
Crabapple isn’t really kicky at all. It’s just a lot of airtime. The big lip of the A line tombstone gives good practice as well as the ski jump after the rock drop
@rataflas
@rataflas 2 года назад
@@trailreviews3628 thanks for the feedback, you're the second person saying the left ski jump is a good place to practice..definitely need to nail tombstone as well. We will see late August when we head there

Great video! Quick question, i’m going to whistler on labor day weekend for the first time, and i’m wondering how hard A line is. I’ve done almost everything at duthie, do you think i’d be fine doing it?
@trailreviews3628
@trailreviews3628 2 года назад
Thanks dude! If you’ve done mostly everything at Duthie A line should be a breeze for you. Flying Squirrel and Semper Dirticus are more difficult in my opinion. Good luck figuring it out!

what is the step up on dirt merchant like? is it smaller than it looks? Im in whistler right now and im thinking about sending it.
@trailreviews3628
@trailreviews3628 2 года назад
It’s actually better to hit blind. If you scrub the drop into it just coasts no brakes and it works dreams. It looks pretty intimidating from the front but it is a little smaller from the sides. GoPro effect isn’t really real on this specific jump. Hope you get it dialed!
