I’m still struggling to feel my lats at all. Most of my muscles I have a decent connection with now but my lats I got nothing

I had the same for the first few months of lifting, my tips are to focus on pulling with your elbows rather than your hands, imagine your hands are just hooks and focus on moving your elbow

if you're still feeling that, then try bend your arms/elbows slightly (not a ton, just slightly), so you're not "locked out" to hit the tricep, you'll start feeling it in the lats then + a bit in the shoulders/biceps as you're lifting/moving the shoulder + pulling with your biceps a fair bit.

overhand grip is upper back bias, using a rope (or multiple ropes personally), with a neutral grip is far more lat bias. love the content.

Should I keep my elbows slightly bent or straight while doing this, it's normal to feel triceps in it but somehow they get pumped?!

@@omaewamoushindeiru3303 its upto u. personally no attatchment feels way better but the main goal is to not bend ur spine (like when squatting), keep ur elbows tucked tightly into ur ribs and not extending to a point of shoulder rotation.

Tricep act as a secondary muscle in cable pullover, so it not a, problem

You are probably pushing the bar instead of pulling it so pull the bar and try to bend your elbows slightly to activate your lats perfectly

@@infosite999 Too many imo, unless you're counting warmup sets? Otherwise you're working against yourself with that many. Only need one working set.

You don't need to go excessively heavy with this exercise. Key is slow control and utilising perfect form.
