While many people like to finish their paintings in resin, that a road I have yet to travel. I prefer to varnish my finished acrylic pours with Minwax Polycrylic. This video shows how I finish my acrylic pour paintings in a step-by-step tutorial designed to show the beginner an effective method to finish their piece.

Thank you for this. I did several pieces for Christmas as gifts, and used spray acrylic which did not turn out very well at all. I'm super new at all of this and just didn't know what to use. Now I do know and how to use it. So thank you again 😊

Hey there, thank you for this video. How long do you wait for the varnish to fully cure before wrapping it up to ship? The can says 24 hours but I’ve read somewhere that it can take weeks. Just curious what your experience has been with shipping after varnishing. Thanks in advance!

I've heard a lot of people say that minwax yellows in time, do find that? And it looks as though you didn't get any brush marks or bubbles, great job.

Yes it does - I have had it yellow my entire canvas when applying.

Can you use you hands too spead it out with gloves on?

I've never tried spreading with gloves, but I've started to use more of a spreading out method with a sponge brush. I've heard of people using gloves as well.
