Today I tackle one of the biggest issues you might face if you are taking care of snake plants: Root Rot. Normal snake plants (sansevieria) are typically easy to take care of and are often recommended as house plants for their easy care, air filtering benefits, and ability to live in low light conditions. However, if you find yourself in a situation where your snake plant is dying, there could be a few causes that can leave you wondering how you've killed the 'easiest plant ever'. Well, in my case after I was given advice that overwatered my plant, bacteria started growing in my soil which called for an entire repotting and new soil situation. Hangout with me today while I diagnose my three largest snake plants and replace their pots and soil.
