handhelds with retro emulation are an amazing christmas gift for almost all kind of people, not just for gaming enthusiasts like us. there are some really great affordable devices on the market right now that are easy to use to make it even more enjoyable for little kids. cheers 👾👾
That is some nice artwork. Although, I really just don't get snes console "variant" collecting they are ALL literally just a cardboard box wrapped around a standard console. At least with the N64 etc.. you got different designs/colours.
NHL games are great fun, especially the Megadrive versions. I think you'd enjoy them even if you don't like Ice Hockey. You can fight, knock people over etc and the shooting mechanic is still very good for a 16bit game.
The NHL 94 cart does look like a review copy - it could well be a Flash ROM/EPROM that had been sent out to a reviewer, hence the double sticker. Looks like a fascinating place.
Ohh you lucky one, it's always nice when someone finally finds something they've been looking for for a long time and then finally gets it 😊 Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉👍👍 Unfortunately, after more than 30 years, I have not yet found my holy grail and have already buried my hope.
@@TheGebs24 I've been looking for an original TAITO The Ninja Warriors since 1993. There are very fond memories of it and I love the soundtrack ❤❤ I used to play it in an arcade in Spain when I was 16 years old and it hasn't let me go ever since.
One thing I love about your channel is your passion for these variants. Massive congratulations on the pickup, Gem. NHL '94 is also known as one of the best sports games of all time as well and is a lot of fun in multiplayer
If you ever needed a device to completely flatten your AA batteries in record time, I can whole heartedly recommend the Invader From Space handheld on the shelf there.
I have this SNES set, my childhood one! The one on eBay at the moment is only the second time i've ever seen one on there, mine is in the same condition as yours :)
Yeah, that must have been one of the most popular toys ever, especially with Blue Peter telling you how to build your own. The box looks to be in fantastic condition.
It's an absolute insanity to pay THAT much money !!!..... Says the guy that paid 400 US for a SNES Donkey Kong edition ( the only real special thing is the box art and that it included the cartridges of the 3 DK games ) Btw, nice catch Gemma.
