Hi, You mentioned that academic performance is of great importance to get in U of T. I have few specific question for you if you can help with the same. 1) 10th : 92% , 11th: 93% & Grade 12th I am appearing in 2022-23 & I can expect around 91% over in 12th. So do I stand a chance based on the above scores to get admitted in U of T . 2) Secondly since grade 12 scores are the predicted ones given by the school , so based on that are we eligible to receive admission & scholarship as final board results are generally out by June. 3) I am looking forward to pursue computer science. What would be a better choice BSC C.Sc or Bachelors IN Applied Science (Computer Engineering) 4) Does the SAT score helps in anyways to get admitted in U of T. Thanks & Regards
No, U of T offers this scholarship between 25k to 45k CAD per year. I received 45k CAD per year for 4 years, totalling 180k CAD. Moreover, I was offered an option of 5 year degree with the scholarship, so this makes the scholarship amount to be 225k CAD for the whole undergrad degree.
Hello Zohair , Yr video is really helpful for my son as he is targeting studies in USA & Canada. He had scored 1480 in SAT ( 700 in English portion and 780 in Math )and 112 in TOEFL ( 28 in each section)in first sitting . He has scored 100 marks in CS in class 10 and appearing for class 12 board in year 2023 . Can you suggest me good colleges name with this scores to get in with financial aid.
Hi, as you’ve mentioned in number of comments that score of 11th grade matter but due to serious health issues I was not able to score well in my 11th grade, so can I apply for the scholarship after my 12th board result come but they’ll be out later then January after the scholarship application closes, so what should I possibly do?
I am an international student who is studying in Canada. My chosen major for UofT is Computer Science. I think probably I wasn't qualified for the UofT early admission, since my grade 11 was just decent. My grade 12 overall average up to now is 97%. Do I have a good chance to get into UTSC, UTSG or UTM with my current grade 12 average? And also, is there any chance I can get a good amount of scholarship money of International Scholar Award from UofT? Does UofT look at my grade 11 average to consider for the International Scholar Award, since my grade 11 average was only 88% (1 more grade 11 course to go). Also, I am an Ontario student, so do I need to self-report my high school grades, since I was told that UofT will just look at my grades through my OUAC profile? Thanks a lot.
Hey there, Thanks for your questions. Yes, U of T does consider your grade 11th and 12th grades for the International Scholar Award. Your scores are pretty decides, I think you got a shot at all of the three campuses. So do apply. I don't exactly know whether international students living in Canada are eligible for this scholarship. I suggest you email the admissions team about this. As an Ontario student, your high school needs to send your grades. You can check more about the application process for U of T here 👉ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kuw-vTw99G4.html
i have only 72% in 10th.However, i got 96.63% (both 11 and 12th combinend), will my 10th grades impact the chances of getting this schlorship? By the way love your work from pakistan, keep it up. #Iamachampion
Thanks mate! For U of T, I wasn't asked to provide my Grade 10th scores. They only asked for my 11th, 12th grade scores and final exam transcript. Don't worry, U of T focus a lot on the grade 11th and 12th scores.
May I ask some questions about the university of Toronto? Because I am currently planning to apply my master's degree in marketing at the University of Toronto Is it possible to get the scholarship for international student? How hard is it? What documents or requirements do I have to provide? Thanks for your answer and advices in advance 🤝
It depends on the faculty and program you've applied to. But Generally, they check the scores of all the exam you've taken in Grade 11th and 12th as well as final exam scores. 👍
Hello, Mr. Zohair Ansari. I got awarded UofT International Scholarship Award which is valued up to 100000 Canadian Dollars for the 4 years of study. However, it is still not sufficient enough for me to pay the rest of my tuition fee. Is it possible to increase the value of my scholarship to 180000 canadian dollars for the 4 years of study?
Congratulations !! I don't know if the scholarship amount you get is final but I suggest you contact the U of T's admissions and scholarship team and ask them if they can possibly raise the scholarship amount for you.
Hello, I have been accepted into University of Toronto as an Int'l student. Estimated cost of attendance is $75k - 80k CAD. Received my offer letter. I want to get an International Scholars award, and I know there is no separate application (I should be considered automatically). But when could I receive this scholarship result? shouldn't it be along with my acceptance letter? I know you got this award so you may guide me on approximately when you got your acceptance letter and int'l scholar award (I could compare and have an idea). Many Thanks. Syed
Hey Bro, Thanks for your question. I do not know the exact dates as to when I have received it; however, I do know that I received my acceptance letter way before I received the International Scholar Award.
Hi Zuhair, Did you recieve the scholarship decision along with your admission decision or was it released a few days after you got your admission decision?
Hello. I just got admitted 2 days ago for engineering although I applied in mid November, it’s because there were atleast 12000 applicants from what I know. And the last day to accept the offer is only in like 20 days (beginning may). Will I get offered a scholarship after paying the deposit? Or no chance
I was informed about the scholarship in a different email from my acceptance email. So there are chances you might get the scholarship, give it some time.
@@ZohairAnsari if you get to know anything about it , pls let me know. Also thanks , you are helping many youngsters (like me) . Keep making such informative videos .
Hey Zuhair, I received an offer yesterday but no mentions of any scholarships... when will I know if I got one? Also the financial aid for international students doesn’t appear on my joind anymore... is it because I was already accepted???
U of T might be considering your application for scholarship. If they haven't notified you about the scholarship with your admission letter, they may notify you about it later. Don't worry, give it some time.
ZOHAIR I JUST GOT A 100K INTERNATIONAL SCHOLAR IN UOFT SCARBOROUGH ok you got the 180k one and I WISH but thankfully i think this one is enough for me to afford it
School Nomination will start in the first week of September 2021. After your school nominates you and you have applied to U of T, you can then fill the student scholarship application by January 17, 2022 👍
# I am a champion Bhaiya, please make a detailed video on Lester B Scholarship as well. Secondly, if my high school is not registered with U of T, when should I tell them to do so? As I have read that for Lester B Scholarship, the school must nominate the student to be eligible for it.
Thanks for watching the full video 😊 Your school needs to register (by filling a form) at www3.adm.utoronto.ca/Pearson/schoolApplication.php?ref=644a95b1 in the next application cycle, which will start around September-October. I'll be making a detailed video on the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship soon, so stay tuned for that. 👍
I have some questions regarding competitive grade, can you please please look into this. So, I scored (ICSE/ISC Board) 9th- 96% 10th- 98% 11th- 82% 12th- 96% (predicted) my grades considerably dropped in my 11th standard but for the rest, I think I am doing decent. Do you think the grade drop will somehow hamper my chances to get this scholarship. I am confused, looking forward to your help! Thank you P.S. I AM A CHAMPION!!
Your Grade 11th marks will definitely affect your chances of receiving the scholarship, but don't worry they are still decent enough. One thing you can do to increase your chances even after this is by scoring as high as possible in your grade 12th. P.S. Thanks for watching the full video.
Do you think i can win this award with these scores: 9th:92.8% 10th:91.2% 11th:91.3% 12th:94.8%(predicted) I study in cbse board education system and when did u receive this scholarship like was it along with ur admission letter. P.S I AM A CHAMPION
Yea, if you have 90% or above in grade 11th and 12th you have pretty good chances. I don't remember exactly when I received the scholarship, but once you receive the scholarship, you'll get notified about it on the join U of T portal.
5th year is optional for some U of T Programs and so, if an U of T International scholar decide to do a 5th year, they will still get the scholarship amount of 45k USD (as per my case).
If you check the Scarborough-specific terms and conditions of this scholarship, you'll see that the U of T International scholar award value ranges from $25,000 to $45,000. You can be granted these amounts or any amount in between. With regards to the approximate amounts, they are just CAD converted to INR (conversion rate may be different today, because I used the conversion rate on the day I scripted the video). I hope this helps.
@@ZohairAnsari bro please you give me WhatsApp number if you use it. Because of I some queries like Lester Pearson, IELTs etc. I have filled the form on the basis of Lester Pearson scholarship. And scholarship agent said me. As I shall go there. Then university will preparing me for IELTs. That's why I'm very confused.
Hi there Zohair, I've been trying to connect with you on instagram but wasn't able but nevermind. I wanted to ask you that in order to get a $200000 did you also fill the bursary form on the joinuoft portal?
@@ZohairAnsari Sir how much boards percentage is required along with an IELTS score of 7.5 for CS in Toronto , Waterloo or British Colombia as SAT are not being considered by universities this year
@@englishlessonmusictravel7564 Bro, an IELTS band score of 7 is not at all great. Even people with higher bands do not receive the scholarship. The university looks more closely at your grades and they just use the English Test scores for checking whether you know English or not (not as a deciding factor for the scholarship).
