1. Be motivated to study at any time: “the exams aren’t the most important part. The steps taken to get their is” 2. Get planner, and write objectives and aims for subjects and coursework
I’m currently doing my first year of the IB. One thing is that failure in the IB is quite common. I didn’t want to brag about it. But I think the main reason why I’m not doing so well is that that I was pretty much a half retired person by the beginning of the eighth grade. I was getting the worst grade possible during my grade 6,7, and early 8; transitioning between 4 schools because I was always a pain in the ass. But when I got to grade 9 and 10 I learnt from those 2 and a half year of dilate and used different strategies to enhance my grades. It was 25% or less exam orientated . So I guess I was taking things easy and not actually learning. So when IB came I decided to go for my best. But pretty soon I realize there was loopholes, and many times things don’t go according to planned. You simply have to do some work, and in time it will pull up to progress and see improvement. I’m improving and I promised that I will get that 40+ by semester two. If I don’t get the grade I want for semester 1, I can say that I at least tried even when there were many barriers, and long odds.
hmm, i remember writing extra essays that is not part of the homework, just extra for me to practice, about once a week. Then i'll hand in that extra essay for my teacher to mark, and i will always ask for feedback, so I can improve. I also read more good essays and practice alot. hope this helps! all de best
