@@perc-ai not sure how you got that vibe from my comment. whether he programmed from early on or not doesn't matter. If you watched one of his earlier vids he said he failed his algorithm interviews and that's what made him work so hard grinding LC. That's what's admirable

Eh. I taught myself Java in 10th grade (then took a 2 year break from coding) but I didn't really know algorithms well until December 2018 & onward

I got an email that Twitter reviewed my application 👀. Hope to hear back. I have a Microsoft Interview coming up in late August and a Google one in October. I'm waiting to hear back from Cisco in a few weeks after completing all of their interviews. You definitely deserve to be where you are 😂👌. Edit: Got the Cisco offer and accepted.

@@kueen3032 Ended up accepting the Cisco offer and then cancelling the Google interview. I applied and interviewed with Google as a sophomore and didn't get an offer and I knew I would need a lot of time for preparation for the coding interview. I never got a coding interview for Cisco even though it was SWE on technical questions and my deadline was coming up so I accepted.

Not sure if you’re still checking these, but I had an interview at a conference with Twitter. I had 2 technical and 1 behavioral. One technical was eh but the other two went great! Waiting it out but I have a sliver of hope

Nice, good luck! For Google the brute forces will be obvious, make sure you stay to linear time (not sure what you'll get) if it is a array lookup problem or something. I messed up and did it too fast and submitted brute forces.

Did you never hear anything back from Google? Did they say "no go, sorry," or did they just flat out ghost you? Usually at your stage, they would have said something. Nonetheless, that is seriously great to hear you landing an internship at Twitter! You deserve it and I 100% agree with your advice entirely! :)

When you said you took the hacker rank , what do you mean , is there some sort of hacker rank quiz that gets you interviews?

Yeah it is an initial screening. They send you a challenge link and you do the challenge. They are automatically tested & you are scored. imo I think it eliminates a lot of excellent people but..yeah
