Nothing like being quoted out of context, I'm sure it was someone seeking their 15 min of fame or to bolster an absurd view of the world. As for corporations who shout were not "________" the loudest you can bet if you dig deep enough, they are exactly that.
Even though they didn’t address Peter’s old posting (or email) from this perspective, I’d like to point out that my less mature / younger self has said truly cringe, cruel and self centered things. Usually it was because at the time my younger personality felt it was justified to act that way. I don’t know how popular the self-identity of “I have to be right, I have to view myself as morally righteous” is, but as a younger person thinking that way seemed to grant me a clear conscience when I acted like a fool. Now I’m thankful that I posted only rarely, and tended to lurk. It’d be my personal nightmare to put on a vlog, so I think it’s impressive to have the talent to speak with poise so naturally like Clare and many of her guests do.
