I had just gotten into arknights a few months ago, went looking for arknights content to watch, and yii’s videos have been the most enjoyable, and also really helpful for learning more about all the branches. Blue blob is very cool.
Just saing sorry for my bad spelling. I started playeng one week agow, i saw a stream three weeks beffor that but at that time i was still playeng Omori and then i had to take to week of deapresen from the game wow i love that game recomend Omori to most people but like i was saing, and then one week affter that i started playeng arknights and so far i can say it's a good game hard but fun fail 20 times to every boss but i still like it.
My arknights origins -Azur lane veteran saw that yostar was publishing a new game -fell in love with the concept trailer -got Siege and Texas -siege dose flips instant favorite
Personally, I joined because I was so ticked off by the Genshin impact first anniversary that I was like let's go try something else. Picked the highest rated gacha, boom arknights. Ended up loving it way more than I did Genshin.
While the game got me fascinated by it's story, world building, music, and how it plays (although I still search guides to not lose virtual AND real sanity) the reason I got into Arknights it's never not gonna be hilarious: So my Oshi graduated and a month after the "A Light Spark in Darkness" event happened... And yes, I did get HER in her original banner, funny enough I didn't knew at the time it was such a "legendary" operator xD
Hahaha same People (including me) are hyped for said artist to stream her pulls. When I hear her voice I was like "waitttt a minute.... IT'S THIS PERSON"
Very similar beginning to myself. I also *came* from Azur Lane and wanted some actual gameplay. Though I also was interested in characters and Worldbuilding, even in AL. (My secretary was actually Yorktown) And then, Arknights slaps First trailers with Starset and faction trailers - and I already sold. But there is more Char designs, lore, gameplay, generosity of devs, memes of community. CC beta also slapped my ass as well. No way I can resist it all
@@oobynooby1 same here. I actually played arknights for a bit back when it first released, but I didn't stick with it for too long because I decided that I would only stick with one gatcha game. So, I stuck with azur lane. I got back into arknights at around new year when my phone decided it could no longer handle the 12GB of azur lane, so here I am.
Same here too lol. The main reason i played arknights due to some 'ak' players talking azur lane chat, and all i remember they mentioning projekt red being one of good ops which i'm clueless back then. But had to uninstall azur lane sometime due to my poor storage sucking me out of existence (and i can't fuking believe it's 12gb now), making arknights my true main game ever. Tho the timing sucks for me when i arrived in arknights, it's already nian's banner aftermath.
I just got into Arknights a couple months ago and found out about your channel recently. So it sucks to hear that you also only recently decided to move away from Arknights. Really well made videos with the right amount of comedy mixed with good info about units or about the game in general. Anyways, I wish you well on your content creator journey going forward. I look forward to what you create in the future.
I got into AK by pure coincidence, I was on graveyard shift in a warehouse being lazy and bored. So I figured I'd try and find a game on my phone to play, while browsing trough the trash in the app store I came across Amiyas adorable face and was enticed. Though reading it was a Gacha game put me off at first, but with time to waste I said fuck it and downloaded... And from there the rest is history, I've been playing constantly since the Children of Ursus event.
Great story! I personally got into Nicheknights, specifically Specialistknights (more specifically Merchantknights) after the Blue Woman banner brought Lee. Something about his design captivated me. Then Dorothy came along recently and opened up so many more avenues for creative gameplay. My friends clowned on me for rolling Dorothy instead of Mlynar, but she's just far more interesting compared to GoldenAsh in my opinion.
I came from FGO. After playing AK for a while, I realised I was having way more fun with scuffed strats using whatever ops I wanted than endless stalls or 3T farming that relied on a fairly limited pool of team comps. And AK content videos are fun to watch, so many really cool and creative clears out there. With other gachas I have played, watching fanmade clears is far from exciting. The music is another big plus. So. Many. Bangers. And the multi-language VA options are *chef's kiss*
Nah I'm too lazy for nicheknights. My favorite niche is overpowering enemies with waifus. Great story Yi, keep up the good work. Thumbnails and your sense of humor got me to sub.
I got into Arknights recently mainly cause it has great looking art and superb selection of music and voice actors. Also I heard it's F2P friendly, no RNG equipments, and also fits for casual play so here I am enjoying the game slowly while I try to understand more about the gameplay, the world, and its characters. The community is also very warm and welcoming too so I feel very happy when people are willing to comment on my Arknight videos despite being a total noob. P.S. Someday I will get Thorns uuuu
My god I know the feeling so much about RNG equipment, it sucks so much!!! I played Kings Raid and Honkai before arknights so I was glad to hear Ak didn’t have that.
For me, I heard about Arknights somewhere in 2019. I was(and still am) playing Girls Frontline when I heard about this new up and coming game called Arknights, this Stategy RPG Tower-Defense Gacha game thingy, words that make my brain go happy. But what really caught my interest were the fact that the guys behind Arknights, Hpyergryph, were made up former Mica Team members, who made Girls Frontline. They left due to some, like, creative differences, but how did they left is a story I don't know, but in any case, they left Mica Team, and Yostar picked them up. Given that there's bad blood between the two heads at Mica Team and Yostar, it was likely no coincidence that Yostar published Arknights, and so now I was invested in seeing what this splinter faction of Mica Team members are cooking. What their vision is that cause them to want to go independent? Also I just like analyzing Drama, even if I do hate Drama itself. And I made sure to pre-reg to get in during Launch day after missing GFL's launch by like, a month or two. While I'm here, let me tell a story about my first exposure with anything Arknights related. Now, until I actually booted up the game, I didn't know what to expect, due to a combination of not wanting to spoil myself and lazyness to look it up. I did, however, know that I wanted Exusiai. She was a cute anime girl with a gun, a Vector no less, and she's apparently pretty good. She's also the first and only Arknights character that I saw until the EN server released. Where have I seen her you might ask? Well, in a Doujin, because I was horny, and hey, Arknights has some Doujins, let's check it out. Oh hey this girl looks pretty cute lets check it out. Yup, certainly not one of my proudest moments for sure. The lamentations of a person unable to get Exusiai is part of the reason why I wanted her. And I got her in the beginner's 10 pull. I was expecting she was gonna be harder to get, after that Doujin, but funny how the world works sometimes.
I like your content because it's funny. As for playing the game I simply accepted that I enjoy going with whatever units I feel like using and that I really like snipers.
That was a cool story to hear! I can relate to some of it, although I started much later. Thanks for sharing! In my case, I didn't even know what tower defense was, but I kept coming across Skadi alter online and the character design got me. Much of it had to do with the start of Under Tides in CN, so over the months I saw that she was a bard, heard a bit of the fantastic Under Tides soundtrack, saw some of the flavor around them...and then after Skadi haunting me for months I decided to give the game a try despite still having no clue what it was about. To my surprise that was a couple days before the end of Under Tides in EN. Still not understanding much, but feeling in the air the dread of what a "limited" banner must mean, I obviously tried my best to get Skadi and didn't (missed out on Gladiia too). I still regret not giving the game my rent's money back then to make sure I got her. Anyway, Siege, Kal'tsit and Surtr were my first 6*s. As I learned more, I decided to delay Surtr's promotion so she wouldn't simplify things too much. Of course, as soon as Skadi alter returned I had 300 pulls ready to get her and the materials for most masteries. A consequence of reading the lore since I started and loving AK's worldbuilding was that I usually play as many (fairly built) operators related to the current event as possible. I'm at a point where I could brute force through most stages, so that's my self-imposed limitation. So sometimes I play Abyssalknights, other times all the Nearl-adjacent operators or even Lingknights, and in the current main story I still get to bring along my dear Siege alongside Horn, Bagpipe, W, Rockrock, etc. Overall, despite that one soul crushing Skad-incident at the start, I got into a simple and fulfilling relationship with the game.
i started Arknights on global almost day one (on the 17 of january 2020) after seeing an ad for the game that featured the song "My demons", from my favourite band Starset. I didn't have anything better to do at the time, so i downloaded the app. And then i started playing, while still speaking approximate english, which didn't help me learn the game properly. Now, i'm level 106, 226 operators (nearly all at least E1 S7), and sloooowly starting to understand what i'm supposed to do. I still struggle a lot when the difficulty gets a bit higher than what i'm used to, but i still really love the game. I still can't play tho lol
I started playing a few weeks later after watching the anime, wich wasnt on Watch List, but after Ive seen ppl talking was a excelent adaptation, also it helped that I was working at the Census, and having a game to play on my cellphone really helped during the time where I wasnt doing interviews. I played because I like Franka, and after playing Mostima also become of the reasons of why I play. Also the fact that I consider like 90% of Arknights waifus really helps the case, since if theres something I really like is cute anime girls with a game that I need can see character gow (I also play Football Manager for the same reason, for some reason I really like games where I can build something from 0 and see it going one shot everything)
Brother I played Arknights for 2 weeks on launch. Never touched or thought about the game until one of your videos got recommended. Still don't play but you're funny haha man and I giggle every time.
I send thumbnails of your videos to one of my friends who doesn't play Arknights because I like the thumbnail art a lot. I can't explain it I have a hole in brain, I see Arknights character pog and I laugh
Oh yes, I found you (and the game) when you didn't sport that ending anymore, such a banger. I started the game in November, when the Spalter/Irene banner came up, and your influence made me not looking up Kyo guides anymore (if it's not the last day of an event), thanks for that. Also, that smug Passenger thumbnail regularly pops into my mind. Glorious.
I got into AK during preregistration. When it first came about, I remember the preregistration page on the play store was vague, being something along the lines of "We will survive the night, to see the dawn" or something edgy like that. Then I began to research into Arknights while waiting for global release, and I loved the setting. The original webpage seemed so dark yet techy in a way, and I loved the atmosphere they tried to make. This love became even bigger when I looked up Arknights on youtube and found their trailers. I believe they are now just named 'arknight ad 1' through 3 or something, I haven't checked, but I remember they used Starset - Monster as the music in that ad, which at the time was pretty different from any other mobile ad's music. It was a serious effort to pull people in through the atmosphere and lore of the game, and so yeah, I became a day 1 player. I still play AK, but I have taken some breaks from it here and there. Overall, I find the whole experience positive.
Honestly, same. I got Angelina too as my first 6-star unit and Zima as my 5-star. Couple of months later, i still bring them both in my main squad. Playing Arknights for me went from "just a pasttime while i'm waiting for my serum to refill in PGR" into my secondary game. It's great!
Since everyone is doing it apparently, I got into Arknights from Girl's Frontline. In GFL, I loved collecting my precious T-dolls and raising them to be strong. The story and lore of the game were also very interesting. The only down side was that the gameplay... was not good by any measure. I eventually heard about Arknights from the web and I started listening to the 6 star operator songs. Blemishine's song and design particularly let me to be interested. Someone in the comment section of Stay Gold told me Blemi's event was coming up and convinced me to get into the game. I got Shining, Exusiai and Blemi early on and that was that. Arknights had everything I liked about GFL but with excellent gameplay make it complete.
I remember I was playing Fire Emblem Heroes when it came out. I was getting annoyed with the power creep and fell in love with Arknights's Tower defense style and production value and downloaded it a month after it came out
I got into Arknights for similar reasons. I loved anime games! played girls frontline and got bored for the same reason as it was just auto play. I’m also a hardcore tower defence lover and so naturally Arknights was right up my ally. It also helped that the tower defence series I loved(kingdom rush) used units that can fight on the pathway! So far loving the game. (I also have Angelia and use her often). Still kinda confused on some gameplay mechanics but glad to have RU-vidrs like you around to watch and learn from.
I got into Arknights by this RU-vidr Just3c, he was a honkai impact 3rd creator and he was excited for arknights in a few of his videos so I got interested in it. I tried the game out when it launched and I’m quite happy that I did, since Arknights was less Grindy compared to most games and it fit so well for my lifestyle. Still very happy to be here playing it, I look forward to this games future.
IS and SSS taught me that you just need to get a grasp on enemies and your own operators. It can result in amazing things. Still enjoying summer niche for now, all those with summer skins lel
I came for the game when a friend I had mistook the game with an anime in 2020. This friend was actually a complete jerk and the only thing good they made for me was introducing me to Arknights, which is my favorite game/anime/story ever, I love this game and it's characters so much. Thanks for the good video as always, Yii, love you and your job, hope you get all the good things you want for your life. Trying to start Aegieknights btw
I got myself into Arknights when I found a random wallpaper engine on RU-vid around 5-6 years ago (the game might still be in alpha back then) it has a cute bunny girl(Amiya)with old game UI which is really cool, I read the comments that people talking the wallpaper was from a developing TD game. So I search up for the name “Arknights” and found a first Starset PV I was hype af and got myself into the CBT on CN server.
Hey, I used to play Azur Lane too and I wanted some semblance of gameplay so learning that Yostar was the publisher for Arknights global made me really happy, I tried it out and never looked back. I'm still a braindead casual in Arknights but getting to use my brain once in awhile is rewarding.
I firstly knew Arknights because my close friend played it. At first I didn't want to try but after seeing some of its gameplay and had first crush with Exu, I tried it and still hooked to this day because it has simple upgrade options, no competitive aspect and less monotone gameplay. I played AK for almost 3.5 years now and no other mobile games that keep me hooked for more than 1 year. The closest one to AK is Punishing Gray Raven (PGR) that I only played for 6 months.
How I got into Arknights is from a friend. In my elementary school era, I have obsession with Tower Defense game genre like Plants vs Zombie and Kingdom Rush, so when I saw my friend playing it, I tried it and I got hooked (It was around the game just out for global) I got lost interest/burned out when original run of "Dossoles Holiday". I still trying force myself playing the game when "CC6 Wild Scales" begin, but still no spirit to continue. Then I picked up again when original run of Near Light begin. Now, here I am still playing it.
First started playing Arknights years ago, and it's been an adventure of playing arknights on and off for a few months at a time I'm only level 61 with a 3 year old account, quite the life
1:28 At least you got something nice to begin Meanwhile me here getting a Shining to begin with, and suffer for at least a year or two until i finally get myself some "essential" OPs to really enjoy the game.
Since we're sharing, I'll also contribute. I was exposed to Arknights in two ways: 1) Starset's music. 2) I was randomly browsing YT and happened to see a video of the CN Arknights Community celebrating the announcement of Under Tides. I investigated and found that I liked the art style and atmosphere, so I decided to give it a chance. Thus I am here.
So that's how you got roped into this game Meanwhile the reason I got interested into this game was none other than the stupid ads i kept getting from watching RU-vid, when i decided to gave this game a chance at 8th of July 2020 (at my birthday) i realize that the ads didn't do justice towards how amazing this game is for a tower defense game Until now i've always felt joy whenever I get to know each players and of course it gave me a chance to meet fun people like you too Rhodey, and for that part i'm always remain grateful for that
I played when it came out, but deleted the since I wasn’t interested at the time (Didn’t play gacha games and was young) but I downloaded it again after deciding to give it another try, and I love it. Been playing it since march of last year.
Same I was a day 1 player back then, I started out as soon as the game server was up but man CC beta and its Red Avenger buff really clapped my ass back with little preparation. AK and Azur Lane is probably the only game that I have played like clockwork
Got into arknights around the time spalter was around, managed to got her and have been enjoying the game ever, despite that I suck. I play HI3 and found the game to be really grindy for most parts, so Arknight’s base and autoplay feature was basically a godsend for me.
just discovered your content recently my guy, I love it. Its funny yet informative. I just started playing AK last October and I love the game, sad about the limited ops though. I missed a ton of them
I respect the commitment to challenging oneself in AK, but I don't think I can ever understand it. Thank you for your insights nonetheless, this pig here appreciates the pearls of wisdom
"...Refine the set of ops to be harder on yourself the more you get comfortable with them" I was wondering what I was missing.. I always just stay max-roster.. I'll have to try this new and advanced tech!
I started playing Arknights when i saw my friend playing it, i borrow his phone just to look at the operator and then he is there, Anthony Simon, yep he's truly reason i play this game. Move aside once i download it, i didn't play it for 2 days, because I really need time to enjoy new game, it's quite boring at first (basic reason) then it became more challenging. I joined group on Facebook, and got many advices from them, such as who need to build first, how to managing your resources, how operator is unique by themselves, etc. The best part is gacha system (I've played a game with very bad gacha system), this game provide you with reasonable pity (and they make it even better )and gacha resources (farm orundum and free headhunting) just manage them properly and you'll be fine.
I came to Arknights on January and this game become my best gacha game so far. From my experience, gacha game often has OP or must pull characters, and i mean to pull them on this game. So, I reroll for SilverAsh, got Mudrock from Gold cert, dump my orundum for cheat code called Pozyomka and Mlynar, and still get wrecked at 9-19, NL-EX-8, and stuck for two month at Annihilation 3. 😂😂 I never expected the harsh learning curve from gacha game but it was fun and amazing experience. It's reminds me about how much i enjoyed Dark Souls III experience many years ago.
A tip for those the don't want to use the broken braindead guards, but still like them and are sad that you "can't" use them. Simply change their skills. Use Thorns S2, Mountain S3, Surtr S2(and no abusing her talent). Lots of the typically broken characters has actual interesting skills that are heavily underused.
My introduction to Arknights was from a mod at Stellaris. It was a simple mod for replacing portraits. (not the newest more extensive mod today). Then watching Just3c, well because i played AL. The game reminds me the Millenium war of Aigis (千年戦争のアイギス), which i loved so much. It suddenly clicked on me, i must play this game. Because i can't buy the DMM point without a credit card, it hampers my experience in that game. My first 6* from begginer gacha was Silver Ash. And Saria from standard banner. The best combi you can think of, and no rerolls. I hate rerolling. Honestly i don't enjoy CC at all. Just trying r18 and that's it. There're boring moments during the early year. I even revisited Girls Frontline back then. Sometimes i even absent for months. But when i revisit Arknights, it always able to lit the little passion to play it again. I have 5 Arknights mod at 3 different games. Rimworld, Stellaris, and the Darkest Dungeon. So the game kinda presents at many games. Just played The Arknights mod v2 at Stellaris. It has some of the lore, can pick Doktah or Katlsit as main character. I also installed the Arknights Ship models, and Arknights BGM to play it along.
weirdly what originally got me into Arknights was an alpharad video. That video was sponsored but it all sounded kinda forced and sarcastic. But when i watched it i thought that the game looked pretty cool and then started playing it. I did HoSF but stopped playing shortly after. dont remember what got me back into the game around the Children of Ursus event, but ever since ive been playing pretty regularly. I kinda skipped the step of refining my teams and using less op units and went straight to nicheknights. first it was sargonknights(ish, i also added the desert themed skins). right now the main niche ive been doing is lore-accurateish clears. for new, major events (not reruns or vignettes), i limit myself to any operators that appear in an event, are from the region where it takes place, operators from a race mainy associated with that region (if there is one, ex durins for IC.) and sometimes units from previous events in the same region (ex Suzuran folinic and mudrock for LE). i started this niche with stulfitera navis and have been doing it since.
well I did find about Arknights from the Music they hade like ( Arknights EP - [Radiant] ) and more. then I start looking up what Arknights is and try it out and I did love it! and now I am full into Arknights and do like the lore it have really.
My main is level 105 at the moment and I exclusively use the same meta team to cheese through every map. I just started a f2p alt that will only use or level 5* ops because I wanted to experience more variety outside the meta and its been a ton of fun
Actually, i started playing Arknights on October 11, 22 and was pre-Azur Lane player too. After playing up this point, i cleared some event medals, i.g. LE, DV, DH rerun, this now NL rerun. And then i got curious, because i forgot how i learned of AK. And then i found that in my google Play account, i had an 5* commentary of AK, written.... on the day of the release. I could've played AK since release. And i didnt. I still dont know why. Maybe because i was too busy with studying (which got me to nowere btw), because i started playing Azure Lane a year ago. You had to see the look on my face, when i realized i could've played AK since release.
My first operators were Exu, Hoshiguma, and Silence. Didn't even know about rerolling back then and so I didn't. Not like it was actually needed due to recruitment. I think I E2d Skadi first. Angie didn't come until a bit later, but she was the first unit I M9d. Really sucks that she got shafted with her modules. Her S1M3 really came in clutch for the first CC. I had to use both Feater and Shaw to beat risk 18.
I never tried Azur Lane but there's been many games I've tried in recent years that I've discarded due to the "just press auto" gameplay. The fact that Arknights requires you to play the stage at least once manually is the main reason I play it. That sense of achievement when you make a stable trust farm clear. I've started buying monthly cards not to win (which I could do as a ftp) but to support the game and the developers.
I got into this game cuz I wanted a nice game to play on my cellphone since my pc is almost non-existent. Then I told to myself "ok I will start this game but Im not gonna search about content of it for the first month" and thats what I did, I was also going to make either a post or a video about a "blind one month arknights experience" but I kinda of got lazy and its been I guess three months since I started(btw it was by the end of Lingering echoes and I got obliterated by that final boss, I will have my revenge once we get a rerun). My first 6* was Eyja and the second one was Pog Angelina, I really like the color red, so much that the 5* I chose from the ticket was Projekt Red so starting playing with three awesome red gals was cool, the name of my squad was(and still is) "redestgals" but now I also use not red ops but sometimes I try to beat a stage with the og red ops. Btw I underestimated Eyja so damn much that she was stuck at e1 for the longest time then I finally got her to e2... I finally understood why ppl love her "big dmg tm". Unlike you I guess Im not too much into losing my irl sanity over a cc stage because Im a filthy gacha player too and let just say that getting higher risks just for that cc shop currency isnt enough for me, I wanted some orundum :v but then again, Im the same guy who malds over my lvl 1 gaming runs trying to go further on events as much as I can for no reason.
The Arknights anime is what got me into playing the game. I'd heard of it years ago, but when I heard it was a mobile game, my elitist PC gamer mindset shut it down. After watching the show, however, I became fascinated with the setting and lore, and so I started playing to learn more (Wikia option is boring). :P
1:41 this. I convinced myself to not get help on any levels or advice on who to pull for. In the end, I only raised operators that had outfits. I did not have an easy time doing levels and I barely completed my first annihilation about a month after I reached level 120. My most used vanguards were Siege, Texas, and Zima and I didn't raise any flag bearers until around level 100. I barely raised any 4 stars and now I'm paying heavily in IS 2. Great game tho, would do it all again for sure.
Dont worry Yii, Angelina was also my first 6* and I kept using her because she was cute, then I got Eyja and thought she was cuter and also: V O L C A N O
I find sufficient enjoyment in using operators I like. I do have SilverAsh and I also have Ch'alter but I don't use them because they don't click with me. I don't preach to avoid broken operators because while I don't use those mega overpowered units I still use very strong operators, my core team is full of them: Gavial, Goldenglow, Kal'tsit, Pozyomka, Mudrock, Mountain, Irene and Cantabile. Especially the Mountain into Mudrock strategy is absolutely broken and finally freed me from having to use vanguards at all. Cantabile is just here because I like her.
I would say my niche is winning stages without support. Having an account of only 8 months old, I get stumped on all kinds of stages and just have to be patient and build up my operators. It does suck coming from FGO where I just annihilate any challenge fight, to this game where the mechanics are unique to each event and my old ops don't work anymore (Horn is worthless in Near Light rerun right now because she outranges her vision window funny enough). I guess it makes sense to add a personal challenge to keep the game fun or interesting, but personally, the game is too hard for me to do anything but exploit every advantage I have until I can afford to build "fun" units like Akafuyu or Magallan or Erato. The game is fun, the story is interesting, the art and music are great, but I don't mind using the overpowered operators as long as I can actually finish these events. I couldn't finish Stultifera or fiamettas events because I was too new, and I'm doing everything I can to not repeat that. (luckily I could go back and finish Stultifera) I do enjoy the skits and editing though, it's very enjoyable, and I hope I don't come off as complaining, I'm just frustrated it took me an hour and a half to beat Blood knight on NL-10, not even the ex version.
Something that ive noticed is that rarely any arknights players have a had a normal way of finding out the game, very specific discoveries for every individual Im no different, around the beggining of 2023, i have recieved a joke video about a comic of Mudrock's ability to animate her suit, after watching it i was in a state of notknowingwhatonearthihavejustseen and not long after that i kept recieving mudrock gameplay video's, i got interested in the game and started playing it First six star exu, got chalter on a single accidental pull, gave 100 pulls on the mud and SA banner just to get bagpipe and SA two times, only to now on the present banner get mudrock The game taught me one thing and its to apriciate what i have
short story from me, i was quit ak right after launch of cc beta due to device issue, my account was only has 3 e2 and 11 e1 with only exu and hoshi. i return when i have decent device and was at the early 2nd week of Under Tides, surprised by how i cleared the content with the ops i had at the time, that was crazy fun time.
I got into arknights by a random meme video in my RU-vid feed, it despicted the Doctor as a 7 star with doom music, after that it was a rabbit hole of memes…
The combo of sponsorships ads and mention of an anime is what got my attention, but it was the stress/burnout from Genshin that pushed me over. Arknights is much more relaxed, I don't NEED to get 6 copies of the same character to make them viable, I don't NEED to manually do every daily and waste my time just to keep up, I don't NEED to have the top tier meta characters to feel good about my team, and I don't need to spend so much time and effort getting/upgrading a character to make them decent. Add all that in with a refreshingly modern art design, darker storytelling, amazing music, and challenging gameplay and you got yourself a new Arknight fan! Only been playing a good few months but have a LOT to learn about the game world and characters.
I remember back when my gf shilled this game to me when it came out on global. It seemed interesting but doesnt seem like something im into. A month after release i keep seeing arts of Exia and damn im sold. I rerolled 3 times total, 2 schwing daddy and 2 Angelina, decided to give up. My gf just gave me her account with Exia while she makes another one. I did stop playing the game when Surtr came out due to burnout but im back again on NTRK. This is the longest gacha ive played ever and it is for a reason.
Playing this game around 2-3 weeks and having fun clearing hard stages and risk 7 traning grounds with limited roster i have right now. (Even this stage with single DEF tile on which i spent 3 hours and still feel defeated)
